full node donations payed out. 649 ZTTL per day, shared among 11 nodes that broadcast a donation address and run a full node with open port 51339.
Since the last payment: 9 days worth of payments sent out, ca 531 ZTTL per node per this period.
Enjoy

sorry for the inactivity. I will be paying out the full node donations shortly and post here
Happy to see the price of ZTTL gain some stability.

Thanks for the feedback. Yes, the number of full nodes will fluctuate, like with miners, some will run into issues making sure that the node runs 24/7. It may get stuck, HD issues, RAM issues, a bug, who knows, maybe your router resets port forwarding or your ISP changes your IP. You gotta keep an eye on it, I check my full nodes at least once a day. Most reliable full nodes are servers of course, but I bet some run a full node on a desktop PC, next to their miners. Today I see 12-13 full nodes again, so the payment will probably be smaller again for everybody

Full Nodes Payout System working very well. There are now about 30% more node in the network. Payouts happen daily.
(total ZTTL payout sum is ca 700 ZTTL per day, divided among all full nodes)
Full Node is defined as unique IP with open port 51339 running a Zettelkasten (ZTTL) Node. (can be a qt-wallet or a daemon, doesn't really matter).
If you want to earn some ZTTL, put your donation address in the conf file and run a full node.

.. if they mine using a mobile network, ...
obviously, mobile network users are not my target audience here, I don't expect them to run a full node.

BTW, new network section coming to Qt-Wallet to let you better see your IP/Port connectivity to other peers etc (+ banscore) should be fun

when coins is valuable, full nodes it will come by itself....
this is not true. Even during the best times of ZTTL we always had very few full nodes. Nobody wants to do this job, everyone expects that there will be full nodes around when they need them. And then they complain that sync is slow... Getting payed to run a full node is a good way to earn ZTTL for those that don't want to mine (or find it too hard) More nodes will make the network more secure and improve connectivity for all wallets. Everything will sync faster.

We could use more full nodes with open port 51339. Please run one if you can and put your donation address in the zettelkasten.conf file like this: donation=X
(where X is your ZTTL-Address) e.g.: donation=ZbT9debLiUeur2JVVBrowHM4DcZueTTaUY You can then see your donation-address when calling "getinfo", and see other people's donation-address (if defined) with getpeerinfo. You can check whether your port 51339 is open by using this link: https://www.zettelkasten.org/api/portcheck/if it says "open" you are good. (this functionality will soon be implemented directly in the wallet) This week I will launch the full-node-donation-payout system, so you'll get payed for running a full ZTTL node. So you might want to already set up your donation address and open your port. Stay tuned for more.

A good idea I would like to hear the opinion of dev @zettelkasten on this score. recently, he has not been particularly active, although discord promised that he would update information about the future of ZTTL in the thread here. Sorry, yes, I have indeed switched to much of my activity to discord.

A lot of the volume is coming from apps that do not even really hold the crypto. On Robinhood app the buys were backed up for days with people just speculating and day trading. AFAIK you cannot withdraw or deposit crypto to there so its just paper doges basically.
I believe this too. If all exchanges were forced to hold the DOGE they actually trade then DOGE would probably really be close to 1 $

Hopefully the developers won't completely disappear like satoshi did. It would be a pity for this project to be stuck in such a place with no possibility of development.
When was the last contact with the developers?
This wouldn't even really matter, Satoshi disappeared yet bitcoin still got its dev team. What bothers me more is when initiators just leave without a trace, and then you cant even update an ANN thread like this here that still references version v1.10.0 of DOGE. THAT is the problem, that there is no proper handling of succession. Once Doge solves this, only a tiny amount of development is really required.

I wonder how long this will go on like this.
Potentially Elon can just continue tweeting about DOGE and make fun meme references about it for all eternity. What? It takes like 1 minute of his day
Meanwhile I hope the DOGE community starts improving DOGE infrastructure so that users have a better experience.
Where is DOGE development team? That is the one question that probably even Elon should ask, or even actively help solve this problem.

Actually, we don't see any use case for the Dogecoin. I read this often, but it's not actually completely true: it's used as a transfer coin between exchanges due to its low fees and has a great value in the crypto discovery process due to the brand penetration into people not yet aware of crypto currencies. Moreover, the "no use case" argument can be applied to most of the alt coins and most of the alt coins see their price to rise from time to time, therefore use case -> price going up is not a golden rule. Exactly this. I've been using DOGE as exchange transfer coin for years, but I'm not sure this argument remains valid the more expensive DOGE gets. Protocol demands that tx fee cannot be lower than 1 DOGE, and exchanges often have much higher fees of 20 or 50 DOGE. We shall see. And "use case" is a misleading buzzword term. Advocates say that some technical feature is their promising "use case", but then they have barely any users using that feature. So what good is that anyway? It's like putting the cart before the horse. Doge on the other hand is a valid P2P crypto currency with a 45 GByte blockchain, and it has lots of users that make use of this, so this already IS its use case. And a very solid use case at that.

the sheer irony of someone who actually BUILDS ROCKETS, being the main pusher behind a crypto currency that aims to GO TO THE MOON, is the stuff of legends. Let that sink in, those who haven't grasped it yet.

Now Snoop Doge and Gene Simmons join the choir, incredible...
Not even Bitcoin did ever have such a loud and prolongued powertrain going on....
is peaking at 1$ really THAT irrational?

That is the problem I have with Elon as to me it seems like he is playing around with Doge. Last week he removed Doge from his BIO on twitter and replaced it with Bitcoin and now he has removed Bitcoin from his BIO and starts tweeting about Doge. Its not good for crypto as like you said there are many getting rekt with these Doge pumps and most would be newbies coming in and listening to his tweets.
I don't think so, and most people who have listened to elon for a while now actually made decent profits with doge. He IS consistent, doge isn't a one time thing for him, he is loyal to it. What this is about: Elon Musk has been playing around with his "meme god" status for a while now. He even hosted Pewdiepie's meme review a while ago, and has been actively spreading countless memes. (Like no other VIP has) That he would chose DOGE of all coins to have a little fun with is unsurprising. this is what Elon gets back from all this, it's not about money for him, lmao.
