Important update for your DigiByte Wallet: v.7.17.2

Dear Hashrefinery,

The DigiByte community is thrilled to inform you of the release of 7.17.2, ready for immediate installation.
We have our mandatory protocol upgrade to Odocrypt scheduled for Block 9,100,000 at which time you need to be running DigiByte Core 7.17.2 to ensure you are not left behind.
This is expected to be reached approx July 19th 2019.

This version also includes the Dandelion++ implementation enabled by default, though this can be disabled by launching using -disabledandelion=1

You can compile the latest version if you would like: https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/tree/7.17.2
The upgrade should install over the top of 6.17.x with no changes to RPC calls etc made since.

Alternatively if you want quick access to the binaries, you can get these from https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/releases

In order to ensure the whole network is ready for the upgrade, can you please send me back a confirmation once you have completed the upgrade?
So we can check you off at our Wiki, as we want to ensure we have reached out to all Exchanges and Pool operators where possible.

We would greatly appreciate your cooperation!

Sincerely

DigiByte Team

Hello,

I am contacting you on behalf of DigiByte to let you know about the latest
6.17.2 release.
This is an important release that we request all pool operators upgrade to
immediately, as it lays the foundation for our future upgrade to the Odocrypt
mining algorithm.

In addition there are a number of other improvements, specifically the
inclusion of all Bitcoin Core 0.17.1.
You are now also able to run a single digibyted instance to service all mining
algorithms. If you are going to do this, any time that getblocktemplate by
your pool software, you can now submit the algorithm at that time. This
naturally saves significantly on drive / memory utilization. Alternatively you
can simply perform an over-the-top upgrade of your existing setup and things
will remain the same.

You can download the latest stable source code from:
https://github.com/digibyte/digibyte/tree/6.17.2
This is also in the Master branch.

You should _not_ use 7.17.1 branch at this time, it is the development branch
for the upcoming algorithm swap and is not ready for building / testing.

Finally, if you get the opportunity, we would love to know what your coinbase
string is so we can add it to our Wiki:
https://www.dgbwiki.com/index.php?title=Pools
This will allow us to put it in to the DigiExplorer / DigiAssets explorer
later on in the year.

If you could let us know once you have upgraded, we would greatly appreciate
your cooperation

This is my Bittrex address that I did not use with p2pool: DMyPasy7c25haX6wyqLoJdZgT1cZDBFP6t   Can you send from the other address to this one somehow?

Here is service. https://mctrivia.github.io/DigiSweep/index.html

OK, thanks, not sure what to do, but I will try.

You should enter there your private keys or seed to recover all coins from there to another address.
If yoy still have problems please contact t.me/DGBSupport

Is the private key my phrase for the wallet? If so I tried it and it did not work, chrome app did not show up on it?

Can you join to t.me/DGBSupport ?

This is my first time attempting to use P2Pool.

I've had no payouts for 48 hours on either of two DGB Qubit pools. Can someone offer some assistance?

I currently have my ASIC Miner going to stratum+tcp://p2p-usa.xyz:5023   pass 111
My incoming address is to a DGB wallet that is inside the Coinomi multiwallet. Do I need to be running P2Pool software or a full DGB node locally for this to work?

Which DGB address format did you use?!
I am also mining on Qubit, using Legacy DGB address which starting with D
Other DGB addresses such as dgb1... or S... won’t work and your ASIC (Baikal x10 or G28) shouldn’t be connected to p2pool

Even though you can recover your coins with seed from Coinomi.
