181  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens in future to your BTC if they are stored on hard wallet ? on: June 07, 2017, 05:33:03 PM
Any ideas what could happen to your BTC holdings if your storing them on an offline hard wallet and want to sell them 5-10 years later? Would there be code issues where the BTC you have now will not be recognized or cashable at that that time ?

Im curious because I bought a hard wallet but have no idea how usable the BTC version i have today will be in the future?

No damage would happen to your bitcoins. It would remain safe. You could use the same private key to get access.Or else, you could use your seed to recover your account. But follow the developments occuring in bitcoin environment day by day so that you would have clear knowledge if any new development takes place.
182  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: June 07, 2017, 05:25:50 PM
Since bitcoin is not accepted in all places and also bitcoin is not accepted by small merchants since transaction time is long, people may have felt that cash would be the right choice.
They might have also thought that bitcoin price is ever growing and so instead of spending bitcoins, cash may be used to do purchases.
183  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello. New here. on: June 07, 2017, 05:17:50 PM
Yes i am new here. I am new at bitcoin and i am looking forward to make more money here. To change my financial status with the help of bitcoin. I am new here but i know that my time here will not be in vain. That i will not be regretful in all the things that i am doing right now. and i know that bitcoin is legit and not a scam.
Certainly, bitcoin is not a scam.it is truely a life changing aspect.I feel that i am very much blessed to be familiar with bitcoin while most of the people around the world have not yet. Those who are working with bitcoins have invested their time in the correct place and they would definitely reap the benefits soon.
184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dear Bitcointalk Community, please change your perspective about Bitcoin! on: June 07, 2017, 05:09:07 PM
I agree with your point. A nice perspective you have there.

Bitcoin, although originally created to change the banking system, has inflated itself in the last few years.

I mean, who and why wouldn't take the change to get profits out of the uprise of Btc?
Sure, the long term goal remains to change the banking system and aim for a better world, but while we are at it, is it wrong to make profits out of it?
Yes,OP might have said true. But when bitcoin has capacity to provide so much salient features, then why not make use of it?That's the thing world is doing today.
185  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What goods have you got from bitcoin results? on: June 07, 2017, 05:01:14 PM
f I can just buy the refrigerator from bitcoin results so far, I am classified as less focus in bitcoin world, but now after seeing the bitcoin price of this I started focus again, because this year I have a target to buy a car ...

If you are anything?

Yes i too have decided to buy a bike with bitcoin earnings.
I might try to buy a car within six months if bitcoin continues to rise in this speed.
186  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin for Retirement on: June 07, 2017, 03:11:57 PM
I am living in a still-considered as a third world country which kinda suit me because the standard of living here is still low and we can easily afford all the necessities of life and even some luxuries here and there. Money here goes a long, long way at least compared to developed countries like USA or Japan for that matter.

It is then good to retire here most especially if you have the money in your purse. Now, I am planning to set aide even just 1 Bitcoin as part of my retirement plan...of course it is just part of the mix as I am also into cacao/mango/coconut farming which can also serve me well when I am retired.

Do you think 1 Bitcoin can be good for retirement...let's say 20 years from now?
I have already heard people saying that they want to join 21 BTC group so that they could enjoy a happy retired life. But i dont think that just 1 BTC would be enough to enjoy a retired life.Better try to save some more bitcoins for secured retirement life.
187  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japanese Airlines to accept bitcoins soon on: June 07, 2017, 03:06:38 PM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/japanese-budget-airlines-will-accept-bitcoin-in-2017-install-btms-at-airports

According to this article, Japanese Budget Airlines are going to accept bitcoins this year. They declared that later this year we can now enjoy flights without bringing our wallets but our bitcoins in our smartphones. As part also of their new innovation they have installed BTMs or Bitcoin ATM on the airport for the convenience of their customers. With this we can expect an increase in tourist visits to Japan.
Peach aviation ltd is the first japanese airlines to accept bitcoin as payment.
Its a cheap fare service provider. It has aimed to attract more tourists from asia towards japan.
It seems that they have signed with Bitnet as bitcoin payment processor.
188  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 06, 2017, 04:58:26 AM
I have think of it and i have save up bitcoin just a the small amount because i have plans for it to have fun like travelling didn't even save it for future purpose. so i wanted to know what are you going to do with your bitcoin if you save bitcoin. Why do you save bitcoin for? and why? what is the purpose why you save up bitcoin to your wallet and not to spend it.
I am saving bitcoins for the secured future of my family.I have plan of saving more bitcoins to give my kids a bright future.Bitcoin is a life changing thing.People have started saving bitcoins instead of gold, hence it is called as Digital gold.
189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: June 06, 2017, 04:54:05 AM
What is bitcoin for you? Is it a chance or a scheme to get rich? Or is it actually to keep your wealth to yourself.
What lead you into bitcoin world and what's keeping you here?
Bitcoin is a life changing aspect for me.It has made be financially free.I have left my boring job and has given me peace of mind.Bitcoin has given me a new earning opportunity.
190  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Regulation on: June 06, 2017, 04:49:15 AM
Sandeep Goenka, cofounder and chief operating officer at Zebpay said:
“The increasing awareness of bitcoins worldwide, particularly about its revolutionary technology, has triggered a rally in the bitcoin market...Japan has now added itself to the list of countries that have regulations for bitcoins. Due to these positive factors, bitcoin prices have been showing tremendous strength.”
 Grin Meaning further rise!
Also following Japan,China and Russia have dropped their plans of banning bitcoin and have started regulating bitcoins.Soon other countries too would realize potential of bitcoin and start accepting bitcoin.
191  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin make Banks disappear? on: June 06, 2017, 04:44:41 AM
It seems that experts say that Bitcoin 'Here to Stay,' But Banks Could Disappear.

"TheStreet: How do you think FinTech will impact the way banks operate?

Frank Schwab: Banks either react on, or they will disappear. Anyway, the consolidation of the banking industry accelerates as the behaviour of people changes. Some banks will benefit from [FinTech], some will be pushed to the back end, and some will disappear."
http://www.thestreet.com/story/13419089/1/bitcoin-here-to-stay-but-banks-could-disappear-says-fintech-expert.html

What's your read on that?

Bitcoin could not make banks disappear.Banks would exist. But bitcoin would minimise the number of people who use banks.Banks have already started suffering from revenue loss which they got from transactions because of bitcoins. In future, bitcoin may be only used for lending loans.
192  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Bitcoins now, At this price, It Isn't working on: June 06, 2017, 04:21:57 AM
I love BTC, I want BTCs, but buying them now, at this price, it won't work..too expensive Sad Angry . If you owning Bitcoins or thousand satoshis, consider yourself lucky!
You could see that bitcoin price is continuously rising.People who had thought that bitcoin is too expensive to buy when it was $1000 would have been regretting now since its price is $2800 now.Similarly if you miss this opportunity of buying bitcoins, then you too would regret when bitcoin price would be $5000 soon.
193  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you keep your bitcoins? on: June 06, 2017, 04:08:01 AM
I have all my coins in on an online trading site (paxful) (low volume)

I plan on making a large investment very soon, and want to safely store all of my coins
I.E I basically want to drop a couple thousand, and keep them in the safest possible way, where I can revisit them in 5-10 years or so and reap the benefits, or cry about the loss.

What is the best way to do this, and what's the best way of ensuring a backup?

How do you currently store your coins

thanks in advance for any inputs

I would suggest you to use Electrum wallet which im using for past two years. Its safe and secure to store bitcoins in it.A seed is generated during registration for password which could be used for recovering the account in future.
194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: June 06, 2017, 04:04:23 AM
Today many people rely on bitcoin, in the sense that they are now focusing on the world of cryptocurrency, leaving their jobs

Is there something like this, is there any special tips because i want to focus but not yet dare?

Yes,same is the case with me.I started participating in signature campaign. Then i started trading. When i got confidence that i could run my life with bitcoin earnings,i just left my job and now i enjoy a life of financial freedom.
195  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I sell? on: June 06, 2017, 04:01:09 AM
Bitcoin price is soaring. Its price trajectory is extremely steep. I fear that the Bitcoin price bubbles is reaching its point of yield. What is mean is, that such steep ascents in anything are rarely sustainable. I am going to sell my coins fairly soon. What do you all think?
Bitcoin price is rising with extremely high speed. Some price corruption may happen and bitcoin price may fall a little but i don't think that bitcoin price will fall more.If you are going to sell, then you will regret for it.
196  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading signals on: June 04, 2017, 04:22:22 PM
Trading signals play a key role especially in altcoin trading. We should read various sites which provide regular updates and recent developments in projects related to certain coins.By doing this,we could even identify the most under valued coin. For example,if we come to hear that a certain coin is going to release its own wallet, then we could predict that its price may go high and we can buy those coins immediately.
