I think that's definitely possible. Do you remember what happend to STEEM when people finally realized that it was actually being used for something (unlike 90% of the other coins out there). It rocketed to the moon! The Pepe community around this is growing by the day and has many dedicated to building up resources around it. The masses just haven't found it yet. The best part is, Pepe Cash is bringing non-crypto players into the scene. That's something that many can't say they've done. Big things to come!

Technically, there is no reason blackbytes can't be traded on an exchange, it would just involve more work, as users would have to pair with the exchange's device to deposit/withdraw. This might either be done manually or we could imagine a bot interacting with a user who wants to deposit/withdraw.

Blackbytes are a private asset, your balance is only known to you; and the device that you paired with to do a transaction, only knows that transaction. They become anonymous with TOR.

What makes the blackbytes is useless and too complicate?
