I would tend to agree that bounty hunting is no longer profitable this year. I guess this is due to the bearish alt market. But there are still a lot of companies who you just describe. They still bounty hunters to promote their site through air drops.
I agree with that, 2018 and 2019 are not really good for bounty hunters. Lets call it an autumn season that poor or no earnings at all but always be patience because harvest season will come to most bounty hunters that keep on doing bounties despite of the current market condition. All hard works will be paid off for sure. |

It depends on the work you have done on that project. If it is a bounty campaign then we really dont know how much we will earn after the bounty token we have get listed. But that $6.8 for 6 weeks is very low no matter what you have done in your job. Try to find high earning potentials campaign that will give you good earnings. |

Nakakatawang isipin na kung sino pa ang mga maliliit na business, sila pa ang mas may kakayahang mag innovate ng kanilang business. Samantalang ang malalaki o kilalang tindahan ay takot o walang balak tumanggap ng ganitong klaseng pagbabago.
Pero nakakatuwa pa rin na kahit maliit lamang sila ay open parin sila dito. Hindi man kapansin pansin, pero kahit sa maliit na paraan, makakatulong ito sa pag promote ng bitcoin sa bansa.
Sa totoo lang mahirap kasi talagang iimplement ang ganitong payment system sa mga malalaking negosyo pero at least isa na ito sa magsisimula ng adopsyon sa bansa. Mas lalong madaming tao ang macucurious kung ano ba ang bitcoin at masasabing legit pala ito dahil tinatanggap bilang kabayaran sa serbisyo sa maliit na tindahang ito. |

I absolutely agree with you, we cannot be bounty hunters for our lifetime. Change is inevitable and we must adjust for us to live. I have been doing bounty campaigns for a year, way back 2017 I used to be full time bounty hunter because of its earning potential but that have ended so I decided to go full-time as a community manager to suffice my needs.

Actually, one of the best things that happened to crypto are the stable coins indeed. Its the fastest way to lock your gains in this domain, you can't actually gain in crypto (if you're a trader) based on selling your crypto to fiat directly, it simple won't work, because it take time, during that time lots of shit can happen.
Stable coins are great for those who knows when to get out & get in again during discount prices.
I agree, one of the best things created in crypto is stable coins. We all know that almost all of crypto tokens/coins have very high liquidity and for us to take away the liquidity is by buying stablecoins that are stables unlike bitcoin ethereum. But the problem is most stablecoins keep on minting their own token/coin that can fluctuate the total supply. I think this will be problem in the future that stablecoins will not be stable anymore. |

I always wondered why I never saw pledge like bounties on projects, which would have ensured that a product was actually being developed even if was for the testnet. As investors you set the rules, your the one that the project needs not vice versa. Investors failed to established a norm that would have prevented all this chaos and still are. ICO's are not the problem investors are. I was just looking at how Namecoin used https://www.bountysource.com/ to offer a risk-free way of investors to be able to donate while being ensured that a product is actually built. We have failed to utilized the tools that have been right in front of us. Being blinded by greed. That was the main problem in cryptocurrency space, we are being controlled of the projects team. We as an investor should have set a norm that will benefit both sides to complete the development of the project. But as most of the investors dont care about this, they just keep on trusting the team that they will give good ROIs for them. |

Yes, it is very important and the team must think very deeply about what will be the name of their project. The main thing is it must really describe the whole project and its name must be catchy and not hard to remember. But the most important thing is the credibility and reputation of the team whether the community will trust and support them. |

Not a good thread but still I understand your frustration. There are altcoins that didnt succeed in this bear market and lost all of their funds for development. But still, as long as there are altcoins that succeeds in this bear market then we can still invest and hold some of them.

I don't waste my time with new projects anymore, 99 percents of them are rushed to make quick gains and cater away with the money, i don't expected more than 5 good new projects in a whole year, why?
1. Good projects takes time to build, they aren't rushed so they take lots of time in development
2. Real working products from companies that have been in existence for years are way better when they implement blockchain tech in their company it will work out
3. Its red flag to projects from companies that starts on crypto from scratch, meaning that they are able to be where they are today with crypto.
Example companies that implement crypto and standing strong with their idea is Clear foundation or Wings Mobile, those are new ones i have seen, i know there are more, care to share?
Yup, that is one of the good projects that we should support. The one that are already existing and only wants to implement cryptocurrency in their mode of payments or use blockchain. But I still believed in some startups that want to turn their ideas into reality. And we should continue to support this kind of project to innovate or revolutionize the whole industry. |

Yes of course, very possible. There are still good projects that have less exposure or marketing but focus on developments and we need to find those coins to gain some good ROIs. Agree ako dito kabayan, karamihan kasi sa ating mga pinoy ay medyo maluho at gusto talagang bumili ng mga mamahaling bagay kaya naman hindi na nila naiisipan pang magipon. Nice, risky decision but I like it. Even CZ did this kind of thing way back when he started. Much better to hold bitcoins first before you hold some altcoins and now is the right time to buy. At least 20% of your portfolio in bitcoin then 80% to diversify in altcoins that you like. I think you should grab some ETH, RVN and pick new altcoins that are very undervalued. |

Good idea, do not let bitcoin increase in value without holdings. That's my biggest mistakes for cryptocurrency that I have been learned. Before you invest in altcoins, be sure you have some good numbers in bitcoin and hold it. Always diversify your portfolio in many altcoins 5 or more altcoins is needed to hold for the next bull run. |

I personally do not believe this statistics that 99% of ICOs are scam, because some ICOs fail do not mean they are all scam. I usually tell people that starting an ICO is like starting a new business, it might succeed immediately, it might fail presently but have a great future and it might fail totally beyond redemption. So because a project is failing to perform presently or fail totally do not mean it is a scam. Don't get me wrong here, I never said there are no scam projects but the rate is not as high as alleged. Judging a project based on its first few years is wrong, give it time to realize its potentials.
I partially agree with your statement, ICOs are business that has 50% chance of success and the ratio of success will increase if the team work hard on their goals. There are still small projects that dump after listing but the team keeps delivering on their product and that is not a scam but if the team stops on developing then we can call it a scam. |

Theres always a risk in this methods that you share, I would not recommend investing in ICOs because most of them turns out to be scam or negative ROI. Trading, if you know technical analysis then it is one of the best way. Hold, will take you long time probably 2-3 years. But the most famous right now is staking or running a masternode. In this way, your altcoins will grow in time but be careful in picking the right altcoin. |

There was news from the chat that you need to enter eos, stellar wallets, as tokens will be sent that the company owes to those who did not manage to enter the wallets on time. Does this mean that the platform will be closed, so new projects are not added to it. Maybe someone has information about the project. Yup I think bounty hive is closing as well, almost all of their projects didn't success on this market or turns out to be scam. I looked at their telegram group and they restrict people to write on those chat. Its so sad that one of the good platform in bounties is closing but I think it will help bitcointalk in some ways. |
