Agreed, crypto is flooded for people looking for a quick buck. Lots of project just looking for money. It is sad to see the amount of sh** ICO being lunch every day, that got me thinking where is going to come all the money to invest in all those ICOs, most of the will fail for sure. This ICO issue will need a fix shortly to avoid major problems like scams, this is the only regulation I support in crypto.

Diversify is good because in theory helps to mitigate the risk, as your money in not going to depend in the performance of one coin but several different coins which give you more chances to gain profits or less chances to lose money, but in my experience where I am holding a bunch of coins I can tell you that diversify did not help at all; all my coins are down more than 40% right now, so when the market is down every coin is going to be down so it seems that for me it did not work. Now, I would prefer to have maximum 3 good coins and put all my money there.

Vechain mainnet launch is coming soon, the price of Vechain is going to go up, I am bullish on Vechain right now, this is the time to invest in Vechain as it is still cheap. Vechain is good in a short term because of the main net launch and it is good for a long term because of the huge potential this project has. Crypto still have a bright future but the market is in red right now, fluctuations are normal in crypto, as they are normal in the stock market. After a surge in prices like the one at the end of 2017 it is normal to have a correction, it is impossible for a market to keep up with that growth. Moreover, the surge on price was due to flow of money from people outside crypto looking for a quick bucks and now that the price is not looking good they are either selling or not investing money anymore. Even though crypto and blockchain technology is the future it would take time for the market to recover fully, as crypto need to reach mainstream to get new investors and enough flow of money to make the price to go up to the end of 2017 levels.

I think that people are still thinking that 2018 is going to be a pump, because there is just one thing that we have to keep doing and it is to keep positive towards crypto. Believe that a run at the end of this year is going to happen is a good thing to do, otherwise people would keep selling and this bear market would last longer, people have to believe that good thing are coming as a lot of them are down in their portfolio so the only thing left is hope and that is still an option.

Crypto is an alternative for the financial system, I like the idea of having a decentralized financial system, that is what crypto means for me. The world needs to have another option more than the system that we have right now. Moreover, the blockchain technology brings several option to governments and corporations to improve their operations and activities, so crypto and block chain are the future as well.
Also, as an investment crypto is a good option to make money but it depends when you buy your tokens right now a lot of people would say that crypto is a bad investment but months ago, crypto was the best investment.

The mainnet launch news will make the price of Tron increase most likely but after the release it is going to be a big dump as it always happen with the main net launch or fork news, no matter what project good or not, people always sell after the launch, as people say "buy the rumors sell the news", so for Tron holders the main net will be bad for the price in the short term but in the long term is going to be good. Tron being running his own blockchain will bring good things to the project which will be reflected in the price eventually.

In that way a lot of people is losing a lot of money. Patience in the key, if you invested in a good project, do not sell when the market is down, just hold it that the market will recover eventually. Panic selling is the worse to do as you will end up losing money, so invest and wait until reach the goal you are aiming for. After I invested in some altcoins I decided to stop looking to the charts and to my portfolio, until the market recovers because I want to avoid panic selling and hodl my coins without any burden.

I am waiting for a stable market that could reach mainstream. At that point all the prices would go up and we will get good profits. At the same time, we are waiting to see crypto as real option for the actual financial system. Crypto offers a decentralized a financial system and I am waiting for crypto to become a real alternative and reaching mainstream in the short term, at that point the early adopters will get good profits. Moreover, at the time of the mass adoption the money will come to crypto and we will see the price of crypto raise again.

I think you should hold Tron. Tron is just about to release his main net in June 2018. Launching main net Tron will become independent from Ethereum blockchain, Tron wants to create a platform fully decentralized to create applications. Tron thrives on free entertainment, independent content ownership, and unlimited digital storage. Moreover the main net will allow cheaper transaction costs and faster speed during transactions. In the long term Tron is going to thrive. Actually, now that Tron is still cheap is the time to invest.

Do not rush. If you have money to invest, do not put it all at once, make a schedule for the investment and put little amounts in the projects you like throughout a portion of time. I.e. $x amount of money every 2 weeks or $ x amount each month during 2 years.

Take your time. Learn about crypto in general and about the coin you want to invest, read the whitepaper and the road map before investing. In that way you would have more chances to choose the right project to invest.

Be patient with you investment. After investing, be aware that the profits would come after months or years, so do not be emotional when the market is down, hodl until you see the profits.

Make a plan and stick to it. Decide what is going to be the price goal for your investment and how much profits you want could be i.e. 20% gains or 200% gains or whatever you want but when you get to that goal, sell it; do not keep holding forever.

Absolutely, it could repeat again, in fact it could repeat several times, the market could go down suddenly as it is in a bear market. To have an idea of what could happen with this market we have to go back to time and look to the charts, they show that the last bear market lasted 2 years and the market try to recover several times without success, every single time the market went up but it dropped soddenly; the same situation is happening right now. For the market to recover fully will need more time and investors outside crypto and that could take a while, hopefully less than 2 years.

No one can predict the behavior of a market with 100% certainty, but we could look back to the last bear market to have an idea what would happen in the future. During the last bear market that lasted 2 years, there was several attempts for the market to recover but I never did, until finally after 2 years the market turn around and started a bull market that led to the massive run at the end of 2017. So in this bear market we would expect the same, we maybe still early in this market and it could take at least a year for the market to recover fully. I just hope the next bull run start before the end of this year.

I would keep Cardano. Cardano is a good investment, it says to be the next generation cryptocurrency. Cardano is founded by the co-founder of Ethereum, Charles Hoskinson. Cardano is similar to Ethereum where DAPS and smart contracts can be built on the blockchain. Cardano focuses on, 1) first blockchain to be developed from a scientific philosophy. 2) Regulatory and Compliance focus. 3) Scaleability 4) Cross Chain integration. Moreover, Cardano aims to reduce fees that exchanges charge, allow quicker and easier transactions across the blockchain, remove risk of a third party losing your cryptocurrencies. For all this reason Cardano is a good investment.

I am excited, this is a good opportunity to jump in good projects while they are still cheap to buy but in the opposite I am worried as I invested when everything was at their pick so I am down big time. I am trying to keep investing but I am hesitated because of all the losses I have. I will be putting money for sure but I will manage the risk in a better way than before. The market will recover for sure so I know that the profits are going to be good. The project I am going to invest now that are cheap are VET, NEO, ICX, WTC.

This is not the end of crypto is not dead, it is just a bear market. The last bear market lasted 2 years, after which the market recover and lead to the massive bull run at the end of 2017. This time will be not different, let’s keep the good attitude towards crypto, the market will turn around eventually. Crypto could be down but the market will be there, it won’t disappear, especially now that the exchanges are far better than before and that the blockchain technology has been adopted for corporations and governments. All the mainstream that crypto has reached lately will be reflected in the price eventually. People that hold will be rewarded for believe in crypto.

Agree, I used to worry a lot about the market and the price of my coins but I realize that it was interfering with my life, so I took the decision of get away from crypto as much as I could and start living my life again. In fact, I am hodler I do not need to spend too much time in charts and in social media, that is for traders. I check the price once in a while though. I will hodl for years if necessary so I am not worry anymore the market will recover eventually.

It is too early for the market to fully recover, all this attempts for recover could be unsuccessful for a while, go back in time and will see that during the 2 years that the market was in the last bear market there was several unsuccessful attempts for the market to turn around but I did not, I would expect the same this bear market. What it is showing is the weak hands are gone and there are more stronger holders in the market right now so in a way the market is stronger but we need new investor to see the next bull run.

Agree it seems that the people crying are just in crypto for the quick bucks, to make money people had to wait years in crypto to see a surge in price like the one in 2017 to make money. It is easier to blame crypto about the actual price but they should go back this time last year were the price 5-10 times cheaper than now. The market is still doing great compare what it was years ago. They should just chill and wait some time until the market recovers, it could take a while but it will get there eventually.
