22nd Match T20 World Cup Super 12 Group 2 Two teams face each other in this match. Bangladesh vs South Africa. Bangladesh is a very easy team for South Africa. South Africa won the toss and batted. South African batsmen are batting brilliantly. Bangladesh's bowling is so bad that the South African batsmen can play very comfortably. South Africa score 112 runs with the loss of 1 wicket in 11 overs. South Africa still have many good batsmen. Looks like South Africa will score 200+ in today's match
Rossouw had an excellent innings scoring century. The partnership between Quinton de Kock and Rossouw is really a needed one by that time. South Africa wasn't able to score big during the last five overs, they managed to score just 29 runs in the last 30 balls. Bangladesh to reach 205 is tough, yet anything can happen with T20 format cricket.

The higher chasing target, the batsman should be more aggressive to live in the match. Bangladesh have already lost 3 wickets in the target of 205 runs. The pressure is gradually increasing on them. However, the bowling site of Bangladesh has been completely defeated by the South African batsmen. They could not press the bowling action well. The match will be one sided. In the beginning I said that Bangladesh is not in the same position as before. They are having a very bad time in cricket.
A wonderful innings by South Africa and spectacular batting by Rossouw  , target Is quiet unchasesble by Bangladesh.  They started off really well but quick fall of wickets by Bangladesh batsman is not in their favour. Difficult for them to win this one. Required run rate per over is very high and they already lost 4 wickets.

I would rather be a good teacher with a purpose than a corrupt politician with corruption. Teacher is the society designer, they design what the community should look like through passing knowledge from one generation to another. Teacher should be treated Fairly and pay more. Teacher in the Same vein, must unite and speak in one voice,so that they will be taking serious.
Good thought teachers are the builders of our world.  All the doctors, engineers, astronauts, scientists all are product of a their teachers.  They have huge credit in their success ,so yeh teachers should be given more importance and should be paid with generosity.

You can have many people with you during your good and happy times but you'll have few friends during your hard time ,this is the hard reality of this world.  Helping others and being able to do something for someone is a blessing and every person is not blessed enough or I can say capable enough to help other. In today's world people are so mean and self centered that they dnt feel any need to help anyone in crisis.

Due to the rainfall the match have interrupted. Advantage to Ireland, according to the DLS method England is supposed to reach 110 runs after 14.3. Now England is at 105 runs, which is 5 runs behind. If rain haven't interrupted this could've been a win for England. Lets wait for another 10 minutes for the official announcement on the result of the match.

Edit : Match have been dropped and the result were made based on the DLS method. Ireland have won by 5 runs. This loss will keep England under pressure to win the upcoming matches.

This was the day for Ireland they played really well ,as far as batting is concerned their captain Andy Balbirnie made 62 runs (47 balls) and declared player of the match. On balling side they take quick wickets of England.  If match didn't interrupt this match I think Ireland would have won this game and this is a really big win for team like Ireland.

Australia win by 7 wickets. Outstanding innings and half century by Marcus Stoinis 6 sixes and 4 fours (18 balls) 59 runs, what a spectacular batting by Australian batsman.A well deserved win. Hard luck for Sirlankan ballers today.

What an amazing and smashing sixes by Glenn Maxwell  22 runs from 6 balls only. AUSTRALIA is sso much in game. If these two batsman manage to maintain this partnership Finch and Maxwell than this Is a sure win for Australia.  Right now Australia is on 86 runs 2 wickets (11 overs).Sirlankan ballers have to give their best if they want to win this game.
667  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is lying now part of human nature? on: October 25, 2022, 01:45:47 PM
Telling a fib today is considered harmless and most people seem to lie so quickly and are very good at it too. We all know lying isn't good anyway it's being looked at but we all indulge in it and very frequently too. And today, it is considered harmless and a little white lie; almost innocent lol.
Can we as humans ever stop telling lies?

Lying has been there in human origin, even from the garden of Eden, which the holy bible stated and as a result lying wouldn't be easy to comb.
Lying to o me can be classified into two:

Necessary lying: this very aspect of lying has to do with saving a situation at cost of lying and I've always tolerated this very one especially in relationships. And this kind of lies are mostly told when things are not deliberately done just to safe the situation and calm the atmosphere

Unnecessary lying: this very one is just a perpetual form of lying jus for the sake of not telling a truth or wanting someone get involved in something.
And this type of lie is done consciously and without remorse. I frown so much at this very type of lies at all time .

N/B. I'm not saying lying is good but I feel most times it is necessary to lie as human nature is highly unpredictable.

Yes I agree with your point sometime people tell lies to save a situation or to keep someone's heart and save them from getting hurt ,that type is harmless and causes no one any danger . But some people are fond of or in habit of telling unnecessary lies and that also can cause damage to someone .
But whatsoever the reason is telling lies should not be part of your nature and routine, if it's needed to tell lies it's better to remain silent.

Kushal Mendis leaving the field at the beginning of the match. Totally unexpected for the fans of the Sri Lankan team. I thought Kushal Mendis will perform well in today's match. But Kushal Mendis failed to maintain that form. But it is disappointing for the Sri Lankan team, Sri Lankan team has better batsmen. It is expected that the rest of the batsmen will fight with great responsibility to win the match. Australia will have to give a big target to win today's match.
Start of the match was in favour of Sirlankan team ,after that Australia pick up the pace with quick wickets . Right now match is thrilling Sirlanka is on 140 runs 6 wickets 19m2 overs.
They will give approximately 160 runs in their first innings a good target.

Covid will remain with us throughout our life like all other viruses  that humans have experienced ,just get your vaccination shots so that if you catch this virus you should have minimal symptoms and you can recover from that. Covid has many variants like Omicron,Delta the deadliest ones.  Only way to fight this virus is to get vaccinated and follow protocols.
670  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Does the planet really need saving? on: October 25, 2022, 09:22:26 AM

because we, humans, will not be able to live if the earth changes above 80C temperature, we cannot live under water, we will not be able to live without food sources in the form of plants or animals when they also die due to ecosystem damage here and there.  We are the ones who have an interest in survival, not the earth. human presence means nothing to this planet.  long before humans existed, the earth was fine.
COVID and the wars and the natural catastrophes has changed the overall face of the world
And the world needs healing and there is a lot we need to do to save the planet.
if we don't save the planet, our are we going to survive?
The planet Earth needs to be clean and if we don't try our best to ensure that we put certain things in other then we might end up making the worse decision.
We need to join hands together and make sure that we don't make a big mistakes that would make our generation to regret our actions.

We can't save the planet. Why not? Because we can't even save ourselves.

The planet has millions of cubic miles. But we are so tiny that you could easily fit all the volume of all people into 2 cubic miles. We are nothing.

However, we exist. That means that the One Who made the planet, also made us. We need to look to Him to find salvation for ourselves. He will take care of the planet.

Cool
Yes we exist and our existence can make a difference .
Some natural catastrophe has damaged the Earth badly like Covid, floods, Earth quacks,  typhoon  and any other but we humans are also damaging our Earth by deforestation,  by polluting our environment , by killing  and hunting, by overpopulation.  These things have caused damage to Ozone layer , causes soil erosion.

So yes we save our planet and play our part .
671  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is suicide the best option? on: October 25, 2022, 06:14:12 AM
I think suicide is a crazy decision. That is, he runs away from reality and thinks that death can end everything. He did, but it was as if he knew that the future he was about to experience would be bad. That's why he killed himself. Though not necessarily the future he will experience, will be a bad future. Suicide becomes something in vain. He struggles in this life, and out of desperation, he ends his life which may not be the time for him to die.

If he didn't kill himself, he might have a bright future with his current struggles. Don't kill yourself it will only make your life in vain.
Suicide is a bad decision, people who make this decision they feel it is the best decision they can think of for their self.  I wish people who make this decision can understand and think normal that commiting suicide is very wrong .the problem is just that they see nothing better than suicide.
Suicide is the worst thing that can happen to anyone as its like wasting your life, life is God's beautiful gift we should value it,love it and live it with full heart. I agree things happen people get depressed ,sad . They think that the end of everything as they find no way out of that situation but that's not true every problem comes with a solution. Just give sometime and have patience and dnt government up.
Depression is the most dangerous and less discussed problems or I can say medical issue that people have and they find everything gloomy and they think their life is a waste .

Teachers have an huge impact on the growth and progress of society . After home that Is considered as your first school, your teachers are your makers . They can help you become a successful human being and they can help you selecting and opting correct field for your future.  I have seen many bright and intelligent students opting wrong fields for future and suffering because of that.  Enjoying and loving your job is extremely important for your success. In developing countries teachers dnt get due respect and rewards depending upon their role in society . Doctors, engineers they are paid and rewarded more.
673  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dealing with food waste on: October 25, 2022, 05:28:17 AM
Once a week is enough for grocery shopping and try to manage things by writing it down or making notes like how many perishable items you need for the week so that things won't go waste and try to use them sequence wise like use firstly the ones that are already in your fridge.  In our culture if we have excessive things in our fridge we share them with the less privileged or poor people as they have difficulty in buying those themselves ,in this way we help them and food won't go wasted. Wasting food is a bad thing and all of us should avoid that.

No doubt youtube is more detailed and informative as compare to TikTok, videos on YouTube covers small details than TikTok that are small clips and are now limited to entertainment and dancing and funny clips. Both of them have their fan following depending on moods and taste of people.

OK.. I was unaware of the Qalandars factor. But still it was disappointing. BCCI need to do their part in helping the associate nations. But what can I expect, when they haven't even sent a single tour to the neighboring Nepal in the last two decades? Since the BCCI is not very keen on U-23 and A team tours, I hope that the ACC will organize separate tournaments for these teams. They can include the associate nations as well. Will be good to see the Indian U-23 team playing against associate sides such as Nepal, Malaysia and Iran.

Nepal is in region where counties are crazy for cricket like Pakistan, India, Afghanistan and Bangladesh but I always think why Nepal team hasn't made it to any ICC event till date. BCCI must have helped Nepal to improve there cricket but so far very little has been done by icc in bringing Nepal to mainstream cricket.
676  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 22, 2022, 01:09:27 PM

Yeah.. the Marsh Cup is ongoing in Australia and at this point I believe that it is the only 50-over tournament going on in any of the test nations. Right now Tasmania is on top of the table with 10 points from 3 matches. Western Australia has won both their matches and will go up to the first place in case they win this match against Victoria. On the other hand, two of the strongest teams (Queensland Bulls and New South Wales) are languishing at the bottom of the points table with 0 points. BTW, Mackenzie Harvey got out just now, for 28.

T20 World cup is in progress  that's why there isn't any ODI going on any test country. Only big boards like Aus , England or India can afford such tournaments in there domestic setups. There isn't any attraction for test and ODI these days and these formats are not financially beneficial for boards.

14th match of Super 12 Group 1 ICC T20 World Cup. England won the toss and decided to bowl. England's rebounding performance looks pretty good. England bowlers' balls. Afghanistan's batsmen are not able to play at that speed. Afghanistan scored 91 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 15.3 overs. I think Afghanistan will not give England a big target. If Afghanistan batsmen can play good short in the remaining overs. Then Afghanistan's score will come to roughly one position. Let's see how much Afghanistan can score in the end

England need 113 runs to win and that won't be very difficult for England to chase. England have scored 21 runs in 3 overs and haven't lost any wikcet so far. Butler and Hales are playing sensibly while chasing the target. Zadran and Ghani are only one to score runs from Afghanistan side.

Multinational coporations have a more positive impact on developing countries than negative impact.  They help to create job opportunities for many people, helps to create growth opportunities and improvement in  standard of living Inn developing countries. It also create competition in market and that promotes and motivates local people to improve their standards.
679  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Power Or Money ? on: October 19, 2022, 04:16:10 PM
Money is itself a powerful thing and it makes your powerful and makes you influential. People will listen to you and will follow your orders . Sometimes people start power without money to make an impact in people and eventually they gain strength and money from that. Both these words are interrelated and linked.

Scotland VS Ireland

The important match of Scotland vs Ireland is going to start shortly. In the previous match, we have seen that Scotland's players have shown excellent performance against a strong team like West Indies. If Scotland can maintain a similar performance today, they can win against Ireland as well. But the Ireland team cannot be considered weak. They have some world-class players. Especially if Paul Stirling is able to perform well, Ireland can win by batting on a big target.

Scotland will win the toss and decide to bat. Batsmen must bat carefully. I think they will be able to win if they can collect like 160.
Scotland VS Ireland already started and Scotland won the toss and start bats. They have scored 26 runs in 4.2 overs but they already lost 1 wicket . I don't think your predictions will work, Scotland may not win today . I speak for Ireland. I think they will win this match
Scotland's batsmen are batting very cautiously and slowly. At the end of 8 overs, they collected only 60 runs. They lost the first wicket by just 1 run. Michael Jones and Matthew Cross batting very responsibly. They are playing very well. If Scotland do not lose wickets from 12-14 overs, it will not be difficult for them to set a target of more than 160. But since the players of these teams are not very experienced. It is difficult to make predictions about their performance.
But if the target is less than 150 then it will be very difficult for Scotland to win against Ireland today. I don't think Scotland's bowling line-up is very strong.
Scotland's runs are not as much as the number of overs running out here.  But now they are trying to play a bit better and playing a bit better maybe they can meet the 150 target but maybe they will struggle a bit to make 160 and maybe they won't be able to do it.  But if they continue to play like this now without losing wickets, maybe 160 will not be too difficult for them.  But let's see what happens in the end, we continue to enjoy the game
At first I thought that Ireland cannot score more than 160 runs. But in the end, Ireland scored a lot of runs. Ireland scored 176 runs in 20 overs. And Ireland lost 5 wickets. But now Scotland is batting. Scotland scored 59 runs in 9 overs. Let's see which team wins the match
Lol where Ireland score 176 runs ? Ireland batting now and they score 85 in 12 overs and lost 4 wickets . I think you don't know these two teams very well or Or you are too offset.so you are making back and forth comments you made Scotland as Ireland and made Ireland as Scotland. So take some time to pos.  it is really very funny Grin Grin

My guess was wrong. I thought Scotland would win if they put up more than 160. But even after giving a target of 177 runs. They didn't win. Ireland's players collected 85 runs in 12 overs. However, Campher and Dockrell's 119-run stand meant Ireland had no trouble winning the match. They scored 80 runs in 13-17 overs and won. Campher scored 72 runs off just 32 balls. His performance impressed everyone. Ireland could have won easily if they had performed like this against Zimbabwe in the first match.
A good match played by both teams , Ireland won this match with a small margin. Good batting from Michael Jones 86 runs(55 balls)  and Curtis Campher 72 runs (32 balls) a well deserved player of the match. Ballers performed really well from both sides.
