361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Optimizing HD5770? on: June 09, 2011, 07:00:36 PM
I have 2 HD 5770's in cf giving me a combined hash of ~405 Mh/s.
Both running @960/150.
Flags for gpu one: -v -w 128 -f 60
Flags for gpu two:   -v -w 128 -f 0
Used MSI afterburner to lower mem clock.

Is that just because you have f 60 on one?

You should get 220 each, if you do what http://www.smpake.com/?p=59 says... :S

(I only get 200 on one, as for obvious reasons, I don't use a high aggression on the one for my real monitor Smiley)

jprowl, he was probably referring to other stuff - such as, you do rendering/whatever work for them, and get paid in bitcoins which they've bought from a market or have already... :?
363  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Dual GPU mining without corssfire bridge - howishot? (2x5770) on: June 09, 2011, 03:53:21 PM
Oh, oops, could a mod move this to technical support please? Thanks! :p

In addition, it does have an effect - second display seen by windows.

Just CCC doesn't see the card, and phoenix sees no new devices and has the same hashrate. ;S

edit: And even more strangely, I see only one 5770 in device manager, and my BIOS does not see the card. So I've no idea how it knows it has a second card.

Is my second PCIE slot broken?

RMA time? D;

Dummy plug constructed and connected - no effecty... ;s?

I have just tried again, connected a DVI to VGA adapter to it, does that make it believe a monitor is connected?

I have tested both cards in slot 1, alone, and they work when there.

Yes, unfortunately. I've been playing starcraf 2 again recently, and doing less coding, so my multiboot seems rahter useless just now! Tongue

I guess I should just try again?

I tried just installing the second card, no luck, shall I need to wait for my bridge cable to arrive? Sad
369  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [Pool] SIMPLECOIN.US (0% fee, Cheat-proof, Instant Pay, LP, JSON, Opensource!) on: June 08, 2011, 07:45:47 PM
AAh, I see why I couldn't find it, it read "Miner Pool", when it is called "Mining Pool"! Tongue

Nice! I look forward to looking at it and becoming confused Smiley

Open source, ok, where is the source of this "Miner Pool"?

Please don't claim that it is open source, if it is not.

edit:, oh it's changed since yesterday, now it reads "SimpleCoin" in the about. Still no source that I can find... People shouldn't be asking "how is your reward calculated", if it was all open source. They would already know.
371  Economy / Marketplace / Re: ForBitcoin.com is giving away BitCoins, we need BUYERS! on: June 07, 2011, 09:33:12 PM
