41  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Electric Cars - The future ? on: April 15, 2018, 07:31:34 PM
Unless you live in Ontario Canada where electricity keeps going up and up. My next cars going to be electric but not until I slap some solar panels on my house with a battery bank.
42  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Bitcoin Price Going Down? on: April 15, 2018, 06:21:11 PM
Because it went up too much too fast. It is an overdue correction.
43  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: April 14, 2018, 06:53:59 PM
I sold most of the bitcoin I got from mining as soon as I got it. I got multiple coins a day and some them for between 5-10$ each.

I saved 80 coins and basically forgot about them. I kept the wallet password on my desktop like a moron and my ex wife deleted it when she decided to tidy up the computer. I read a story that bitcoin was up to like 10k and remembered I had those coins. I was fucking elated...until I tried to locate the wallet passcode. The data had been overwritten too many times to recover on my own and a 3rd party company was unable to recover it.

It keeps me up some nights. I wish I would have kept physical and digital backups. I just didn't expect bitcoin to be worth thousands.
44  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Trade - Which is Better? on: April 11, 2018, 01:49:51 PM
I tried trading of various commodities. Stocks, PMīs, Cryptos... at the end of the day, its always a 0-sum game for me, because A: I cannot time the market, B: as much as i want to think of me being a rational person who isnīt flimsy and can push through sound moneymanagement and risk strategies, over a trading cycle of say, a year, i make still enough mistakes to eat up all possible gains. Whenever i win i increase my risk without my sane personality having a say in the matter, therefor, now, i just Hodl. Learn about yourself in both scenarios. How do you act when you loose, how do you act when you win? If your emotions are getting in the way every time, trading may not be the thing for you.

A few things to think about:

Freedom, by which I mean true freedom, to do anything your heart desires so long as you are not infringing on another's rights.
Rights, and who's job it is to protect them when you are incapable of protecting them yourself.
Justice, and who's job it would be to exact it.
Government, and if they are even necessary in your model, what role they would have.
National and international affairs, and who would maintain them.
Taxes, and if they would be necessary, what they would be used to pay for.
Roads, and who will build them.
46  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How do you feel about revenge? on: April 05, 2018, 02:32:33 PM
I got accidental revenge and it was very satisfying.

My ex left me. She stole my debit card and a few other things. Luckily I had changed the PIN.

I get a call from her a few weeks later. She tells me she got a caretaker job for a guy with AIDS. It was a lie. Some guy was letting her sleep on his couch.

I get a call from him looking for my ex. I tell him what my ex told me and this guy starts freaking out and yelling telling me he is going to throw my ex's stuff out on the street.

I go to work and come home and there is about a half hour of messages on my phone from my ex telling me how I ruined her life and that she's homeless.
47  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is the main goal of human is happiness? on: April 03, 2018, 12:24:36 PM
Life basically has no goal. You can choose whatever you want. There is no right answer to that question.
48  Other / Politics & Society / Re: who is the best president and leader this generation? on: March 28, 2018, 11:01:06 AM
My vote goes for  Merkel from Germany. She is very clever pragmatist and very modest at the sane time. Able to  to make the right decision.

Plus. Shocked to see that people do not need sane rulers at all - only powerful.
