1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a good idea to sell tokens after listing on exchange? on: August 28, 2018, 03:35:15 PM
Hello, everyone!
I want to hear the opinions of traders. Is it a good idea to sell tokens immediately after launching on the exchange so that later, when the price falls, will they be purchased again? Always after the listing on the stock exchange price falls?

Prior to this time, the best pattern is to sell a portion of the token and hold the rest. But the bear market tend to change the game in favor of selling off all the token to buy back when price dumps as most coins do crash below ICO price upon listing in exchange. This pattern also has its disadvantages and should be used with caution.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't go to ICO!i was cheated again! on: August 28, 2018, 03:31:41 PM
I have learned the lesson from investing in ICO, and now I will not make any investment even if ICO looks perfect! Even just $1!

How then do you plant to promote cryptocurrency if you can never invest in ICO and you also remain vocal in your discouragement of people from investing in ICOs. Yes scam exists but not all ICOs are scams. Even if you don't want to invest in ICOs, you can keep that to yourself instead of pouring it out in public. As a bounty hunter, if ICOs do not meet their caps, how do you get rewarded for the job you are doing? I mean no offense please, just trying to correct an impression.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't go to ICO!i was cheated again! on: August 28, 2018, 03:28:04 PM
I'm so upset recently! I took part in a project called VEGA at the beginning of the year! It's mainly for AI trading! But after ICO, there was no such thing as the second largest exchange they had ever said, and there was no progress in the so-called A project, and there was no one in the telegraph group to manage it. This project now seems to have no hope, so here I appeal to everyone, do not participate in ICO activities! Because there are so many liars! You can't tell which project is real!
 Embarrassed Embarrassed Embarrassed

This is becoming a prevalent occurrence, however, there are still genuine ICOs out there. I wouldn't suggest we should not invest in ICOs, my style is always to spread my tentacles. Just be careful in selecting ICO to invest in.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Which Bounties do you prefer? on: August 28, 2018, 03:23:51 PM
Which tasks in Bounties do you prefer, there are many:

- Bitcointalk Signature
- Translation
- Social Media (Twitter, Telegram, Facebook, Reddit, Medium)
- Blog
- YouTube
- ...

Which and why?  Smiley

I prefer signature because it pays well and also give me the opportunity to contribute to this platform. Going through the discussions in the forum is a good way of remaining updated about development of events in the crypto ecosystem

Always learn to read the whitepaper first before joining any bounty. This will enable you know the potential of the project. As for signature campaign, you will be better off if you are ranked higher as it is only few projects that pay newbies.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: WHAT PART HAS EXCHANGES IN SCAM PROJECTS? on: August 28, 2018, 03:07:14 PM
I have been wondering how some projects do spring up and would later die off and project team will just disappear without a trace. So i was wondering if the centralized trading platforms that get such scam projects listed don't do their background findings about the project legitimacy or they are just interested in listing fee?

So exchange themselves are scams. Many exchanges are just interested in the listing fees and nothing more. SO exchanges play a major role in encouraging scam projects. However, with regulation, this will be a thing of the past.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: NEX accounts on: August 28, 2018, 03:04:56 PM
Hello, I'm selling NEX (neonexchange) account. Updoming ICO September 3, 2018.
Contact me if you're interested. Telegram @CryptoPD

I don't know much about this and how it is being used. Secondly, how do you intend to complete the transaction through here? How will you ensure that one party is not scammed during the transaction?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Use your ETH to gain more.... on: August 28, 2018, 02:59:57 PM
There is this campaign running till 1st September where it allows users with ETH and 7 other pegged tokens (HOT/TOMO/MKR/ZIL/BAT/GTO/MAN) to gain loyalty points to exchange for more tokens and physical prizes (rumoured to even have a car for redemption in the future!), these points do not have expiry date, and it is link to your wallet address, you can sign it with your wallet to check the points earned (no need to memorise any more passwords!)

You can find out more about the campaign > https://joyso.io/trade/en/campaigns/get-closer/campaign
The HAPPINESS loyalty program > https://joyso.io/trade/en/happiness

Participating in all campaigns by JOYSO will accumulate these points, so locked on on them, and see who redeems what they come up with in future

Are you sure this is not more less pump and dump? Coins that give too much airdrops like this always dump. I might be wrong though but I don't really like free token much.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: BEWARE of Trade by Trade Exchange! SCAM on: August 28, 2018, 02:53:36 PM
Hello, I recently signed up, became authorized at, and sent funds to an exchange called Trade by Trade. I proceeded to trade BTC for FLO, as I wanted to get some FLO coins. I then tried to withdraw the FLO coins and the message "Withdrawal Failed" would pop up. No explaination, nothing. So i sent a support ticket and waited 24 hours. Nothing. I reached out on twitter and facebook and they finally responded to my support ticket, here is the response;

Dear user, Thanks for contacting us. Apologies for the late reply. Kindly note that for now, users are only able to withdraw BTC, TCN and LTC; not USDT or FLO etc. We are currently working on making other cryptocurrencies available to withdraw, for this reason there is the option for you to withdraw other coins such as USDT and FLO etc. Sorry for any inconvenience caused. However, we have a solution! Note that you may trade/ sell your USDT or FLO COINS for BTC or TCN and withdraw those after it has been traded until the withdrawal tool for other COINS are completed. Thanks for your time and cooperation. Best Regards, TBT Support Team.

So i read over the terms of use for a second time. There is NOTHING that states that this is the case, in face the FAQ even states this;

General
General FAQs

Can I transfer my tokens to other platforms?
Yes, you can transfer your tokens to other platforms....

The terms of service state this;

Trade By Trade does not allow Users to exchange Tokens for money; Users can only exchange Tokens for other Tokens. In order to fund your Account and begin trading, you will need to first procure Tokens. Once procured, you must send Tokens to the address provided by Trade By Trade and wait for the balance to appear in your Account.

17. OWNERSHIP OF TOKENS

You hereby certify to us that any Tokens used by you in connection with the Platform are either owned by you or that you are validly authorized to carry out transactions using such Tokens, and that all transactions initiated with your Account are for your own Account and not on behalf of any other person or entity.

So long story short, I am being scammed. I was lucky to pick up a sell order after 16 hours, but now there are buy orders to even dump the coins that I WANT. This is unethical and unacceptable, please DO NOT send your tokens or business to this scam of an exchange.

Thanks for this information. You don't know how many people your would have saved from this scam. These guys will never stop! There numbers is constantly on the rise.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Who is mining right now? on: August 28, 2018, 02:49:52 PM
I have not had a good experience with mining and this is the reason I try to stay as far as possible from mining. It might be working for others but for me, it is not an option of consideration for now.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Is IDEX exchange legit? on: August 28, 2018, 02:44:18 PM
Idex is a legit exchange but my problem with decentralized exchanges is because they are complex to use and their transaction charges are highest in the crypto space.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: KYC, during or post ICO? on: August 28, 2018, 02:43:00 PM
To me I feel is unprofessional for ICOs to conduct KYC after ICO. This does not always go well. If it is before investing, then people will know if they are eligible to contribute or not to avoid too many rigorous processes of fund recovery.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Is the Market Finally Uptrend? on: August 28, 2018, 02:37:37 PM
The bear market have lingered and has made many people lose faith in cryptocurrency. This is evident in the number of sell off recorded for the past few months. However, signs of recovery are beginning to emerge; BTC have crossed $7000 and still remain strong. Similarly, Ether have started showing strong signs of recovery after depreciating significantly for the past couple of weeks. Can we therefore, say that the much awaited upward trend is here?

What is your opinion?
15  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I wish I dump all the BTC in late DEC 2017 on: August 24, 2018, 04:04:13 PM
That would have been a wonderful decision, unfortunately, there was no one you would have known that price will crash because the FOMO was too high. However, I will advice you to learn never to regret in Business.
16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you trade Bitcoin to buy Altcoins? on: August 24, 2018, 12:18:01 PM
From recent happenings, some good altcoins have performed far better than Bitcoin. Example is ODE and leaving my money in this coin is a wise decision.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Keep all crypto in trading platforms or wallets? on: August 24, 2018, 12:16:15 PM
Time have proven that exchanges are not the best place to store cryptos. There have been series of hacks even in reputable exchanges such as Binance. So anyone considering leaving all his fortune in trading platforms is doing so at his own peril.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Holds Above $6k on: August 24, 2018, 12:14:03 PM
Bitcoin has long been manipulated.
Since 2017 and all these news are created specifically.

This a big challenge that is facing cryptos. As a result of this, some persons are even tempted to assume that Bitcoin is a pyramid scheme. Even though I do not agree with them, their points are well valid in the wake of the present realities.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Portfolio management. Rebalancing. on: August 24, 2018, 12:11:32 PM
I love your approach and I will work on something like this for myself when the time is right. The only area I will adjust a little is the percentage for ICO. Mine will be a little higher than 10% because ICOs have proven to be more profitable way of investing especially when you select projects carefully.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Digital Assets Exchange Issued Token on: August 24, 2018, 10:36:27 AM
these days, as BTC, ETH, EOS etc. price fall, some startup decentralized exchanges issued token, and with a new dividend distribution

system, attracted lots investors and trading on these exchange token.

some top centralized exchange platforms also launch this activity.

Do you hear of it?

It is no new news and most of such tokens are doing just fine. The odds tends to favour exchange projects lately and this is the reason for the associated massive investments.
