1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: April 08, 2014, 06:22:31 AM
Anyone wanna help me figure out why ccMiner isn't hashing?

I have a 6 x 750TI rig, and I'm wanting to mine HVC.  My .bat looks like this:

ccminer35.exe -a heavy -o stratum+tcp://<<address>>  -u <<worker>> -p <<password>> -v 512

It connects to the stratum and starts detecting new blocks however this is the only output on the window.

Binding thread 0 to cpu 0
Binding thread 1 to cpu 1
Binding thread 2 to cpu 2
Binding thread 3 to cpu 3
Binding thread 4 to cpu 4
Binding thread 5 to cpu 5

And that's it.  It never actually starts hashing, and yet the stratum keeps detecting new blocks.

Also via Hardware Monitor I can see that none of my cards are under any load at all.

Thoughts?

Still looking for someone to help out here, please.

As I said yesterday on your other post.

Your prices are still to high.  You're selling 30% over the current market price.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Wanna buy Doges with PayPal ? on: January 16, 2014, 03:34:43 AM
Cool site, great idea.

It's just a shame that your charging almost 80% more than the going rate on any other exchange.

Current Doge to USD price at the time of this post.  1k coins = $.00040

You're charging 1k coins = $.0007 (and that's if I buy 100k)  The price only jumps in lower quantities, up to 100% more than the exchanges.

I'd gladly purchase on this site if prices were much more aligned with the exchanges.  In fact I've been waiting for something like this.  But even at 80% it's WAY to high to consider.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with Windows Azure Cloud Service - 20 cores free for 100 hours on: January 15, 2014, 06:11:57 PM
another update.

I got back on my first 2 azure accounts and they are back up and activated.  All my VMs still there and cpuminer still installed on them all.  have 40cores all mining again now.  So I have no clue what was happening last night with them being rejected.

Account 3 is still rejecting the CC used from the first 2 however.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with Windows Azure Cloud Service - 20 cores free for 100 hours on: January 15, 2014, 04:54:11 PM
I tried it, but you can't sign up more than two times with the same creditcard. Ip didn't matter (tried through tor/proxy as well).

Oh, and you need to verify your account with a text message, and they will call you to ask whether you need assistance  Grin

And what message  do you see with the third time?

Got something like "This payment method is not available at the moment".

That's the same message I got while trying to setup a 3rd account.  And shortly after that the first 2 accounts free trials were canceled and they said, "You have already used your free trial or are ineligible"
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with Windows Azure Cloud Service - 20 cores free for 100 hours on: January 15, 2014, 07:34:24 AM
FYI,
  I finally got around to trying this out.  I setup my first 20cores and let em run for about 5 hours.  I then came back and setup my second account and the next 20 cores.  Using the same CC for both accounts.  I got them all online and running.  30min Later I created a 3rd account and got to the payment screen and entered in the CC info.  This time it said it was unable to process the card.

  Which didn't surprise me as someone else here mentioned they could only get 2 accounts running.

  Well low and behold this flagged the card and the first 2 accounts related to it.  In no less than 3minutes the first 2 accounts were completely wiped out and the $200 free trials were instantly revoked.  All the VMs were removed and the first two accounts both now say that "your free trial has already been used"

  Kinda wondering if I'm IP blocked as well.  Tomorrow I'm going to try brand new email accounts with a brand new CC card.

  For what it's worth the 8core 7GB VMs runs just the same as the 8core 64GB VMs as far as k/hash is concerned.  The 8core 7GB VM according to their pricing calculator would get you hashing for 8 days straight before exhausting the $200 trial ammount.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What's better More Miners Less Ghash, or Less Miners more Ghash on: January 09, 2014, 10:37:05 PM
Simple question.  When it comes to alt currency mining pools what is the bigger payout for your average joe?

A Pool with more miners but lower G/Hash or a pool with less miners but a higher G/hash.

For comparision purposes look at DogeCoin on multipool and dogehouse.com

Multipoool   - 5.2 G/Hash with 4700 Miners.
DogeHouse - 4.0 G/Hash with 6500 Miners.

All,
What a day again, but at the end, clients popping up, source code released, Wesley was here with new work etc...

Just to remind you all what a great community this is and I want to thank everyone for his great efforts.

We will succeed.

That said:

The only black spot today was dgex and its founder, as I cannot find myself in all what is happening there, and as I cannot accept the dictatorship of one person on the exchange and the forum I will leave the forum nextcoin.org.

I hope many will follow because staying there is supporting his acts and supporting that kind of behavior.
Only the best is good enough for NXT and imo dgex and its founder doesn’t fit in there.

NXT is more than some code and a client, it involves people also, it involves a way of thinking, what happened today with dgex can’t be further away from what NXT stands for. NXT is strong and getting stronger every day, and it will survive without dgex and nextcoin.org.

You can find me on https://forums.nxtcrypto.org/ where I shall maintain 24/7 support and helping people out if they having trouble

I don’t want to split the community but what happened today was a bridge to far and harmed us all, in favor of one.

Gooooooooo NXT
Pin

For those of us that are new.... I just set up my first NXT account today.  What happened with DGEX exactly?  Are they an untrustworthy exchange now?

This is a failed launch and an even more failed coin.

Move on people

Yep I won't be mining this trash coin.

Pretty much guarantee someone is solo mining this right now.

That source is likely fake.

Hopefully they release a QT wallet as I'm too lazy to deal with compiling one myself lol.

I wouldn't even know how to do that. :/

where is the conf file info ? and whats the port for solomining.

You can create one up as a template for any coins and then just add a few parameters once the info is provided at launch time.

Here is an example:  I used this for all my scrypt coins

listen=1
server=1
rpcuser=xxxx
rpcpassword=xxxx
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=192.168.1.*
rpcport=?
port=?
addnode=?

rpcuser and rpcpassword can be anything you want.  rpcport, port and addnode will be provided at launch time.

How does one set this up for solo mining with Cudaminer?
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining with Windows Azure Cloud Service - 20 cores free for 100 hours on: January 03, 2014, 05:04:15 AM
Your mileage may vary, but I ran two separate Azure trial accounts like this, and a friend ran eight (160 cores!). Neither of us ran into any problems from Microsoft, even though we each used a single credit card for all our trials.

Wow, that's an idea I hadn't considered.  I have that $h1tty paypal CC, I think I'll attempt it with that one.

Im guessing you're gonna need 8+ new emails to register right?
