Yes, it is still promising on investing with ICOs because of getting higher profits in a period of time but like you said you have to be picky because there are a scams. A good example of an ICO are having events, videos of the team and partnership with great companies. You just need to remember the rule of investment, "Patience is the key to get success". ICO investment isn't a place for the dreamer get rich fastly, this is the place for those who can keep patience to wait the result from their investment, sometimes, it can take you few years. As the market begins to recover I believe the ICO market will come back to life and on average will outperform BTC and ETH. Granted there will be a great dispersion between the good ICOs and the bad ones it's far from recover and at this moment we should see another downward movement before recovering. also what does that mean by 'ICO market will come back to life' ? a lot of ICOs popped out from nowhere,did not that mean it's already life ? the main problem is a lot of ICOs did not fullfill their commitment and ran away with other people money. and on the other hand regulator trying to find out how to 'prevent' their costumer to get into it, that mean the ICOs will be died in the future. or at least only some ICOs will exist and it requires a lot of process to make it happen. Yes, only the real project can live after long time. Bad or fake project will remove and forget by the ICO community, because only the investor still hold these bad tokens remember the old value, promise words of devs at begin. 1:9, I think this is the ratio for good:bad project, IMO! |

It is depends on which ICO you want to invest with, you should a further research in an ICO that gets your interest with and also has a big potential in the near future if it is going to be successful. Let's say,like this upcoming ICO which is called Daneel, if you are going to look at its functionality and ideals, it has a big potential to be successful because it could help a lot of people who wants to know more about the cryptocurrency. Simply to say, always read before you decide.
I got your point that good or not to invest in ico is depending on what project we invest. From that, at least ico is still profitable if we can choose the right project. Dont you try to say that? Choose the right ico in the right time. Its the key. Well, the opportunity to become the rich for everyone in ICO. As long as you can choose right project, you can become the rich easily, even, you won't understand the reason made you become the rich easy like that, haha. But, to be honest, this field is risky and the investor need to be ready for loss. |

I do not think this is a coin of the future. To be objective, Ripple's transactions are very cheap (especially compared to the craziness that we see in the Bitcoin network), and also fast. In fact, the function of transport - this is the only thing that does not finally give put a cross on this crypto currency.
You have to know Ripple is not a cryptocurrency  . Although there're many people called Ripple is a cryptocurrency but for me, a cryptocurrency does not need to mining can not call a cryptocurrency. So, the transaction fees of Ripple depend on the founder, the devs of this coin. And it's useful for the payment system of the world in the future. |

Yes I believe in IСO and invest in it. Many projects have brought me an excellent profit. Sometimes even trade does not bring me such a good profit as an investing in IСO. But in order to get a good profit you must choose a reliable project very carefully. There is always a chance that you will lose all your investment.
ICO is also an investment type of cryptocurrency world, therefore, this market also be affected by the bearish trend of cryptocurrency market. The investor need to be smart and know the good time to invest in ICO instead of FOMO by hype project and lose money. |

I'm really disappointed with myself now because of Verge. Way back June 2017, I bought $200 worth of XVG and I sold it last week a day before the pump happened. It could be worth more than $5k now if I just HODL.  Well, I need to move on and learn from this mistakes. This will be a lesson for me to have patience and wait for the right time to sell my coins. The reason why I sold it was because I need more funds to buy another coin. I'm happy with the coin I bought because I can now see that it is now starting to pump. Maybe, I'm just half disappointed every time I'm seeing the current value of Verge. I bought some XVG again and will surely hold it this time.  I hope that this experience of mine can be a good example for everyone especially the newbies in this community. This is a really good experience. Significant. Need to understand when you're get out of coins. I think the best option is to buy for the long term. Bought and forgotten. I do it. Thank You! Did you prepare the target to sell your coin? Buy and forget that amount means you are putting your money to outside and do not care someone help you use that amount. You are the rich and waste money if do that  . Why? I buy and wait for the coin will make 20-30 x's. After that i sell. Some lie long enough before it happens. But that's okay. That's my strategy. Oh, if you want to get x20 - x30 from altcoin, ok, you're fine but only for now . Nothing guaranteed. You don't know the risk and the future of altcoin unless some top coins got accepted on worldwide. Example, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Ripple ... but a ROI high like you said is impossible. |

This claim is not needed anymore, one coin doesn't really need to beat bitcoin as the market is so complicated now. The important thing is giving benefits to the community, not beating bitcoin.
Currently, the government and stock market still do not care the technology of cryptocurrency, but do you think someday the investor will accept old system of Bitcoin? While, there're many altcoins can replace Bitcoin and the value of Bitcoin is unreasonable because it can't apply to any reality project. |

I don't think Ripple is currency of the future, but I believe it has a future. I sold my Ripple when the price was 3$, but I am going to buy now.
Why? I think Ripple is the best option in cryptocurrency world to becomes the digital currency for the world. Sold your Ripple at $ 3 is good decision because you sold it before the bloodbath time happen. But for the future of Ripple, it can grows more. |

Unfortunately, most sites with a list of ICO projects take money for a place in their rating. These sites can be used to find out which ICOs are coming out in the near future. I find interesting projects in this forum. In discussions, you can understand an interesting project or not. Haha, but the power of FOMO is unlimited. Did you buy any ICO token have FOMO from large community? ArcBlock, WePower, Eidoo, Status ... these projects are the potential project and get FOMO from many ICO groups. Expecial Status, this project made the Ethereum network got problem to confirm transaction in few hours (last year). |

Haha you probably will, since If official Monaco statement is Q2, it will probably be much later (if ever). ahah we will probably never get our black card, I'm happy I just sold MCO tokens months before. Not even waiting the card right now with TenX problems it sound bad Sadly the big boy don't want to make the value of this coin increases again, this is the reason you didn't see any good news to make this coin increases, included TenX. Monaco and TenX need to get approve from VISA card on worldwide before increases the value. |

I was surprised to see very successful campaigns on the platform, which made me feel good about Kick the company. But my investment still upside down in Kick. I know it will go up, i know your team is workimg more towards a functional flawless platform before trying to list on major exchanges correct?

I don't think that a common people can judge by the whitepaper, i recommend to check the investor and the platform. For example, the projects run in the NEO system seems to have a good profit if you overview the price of those ICO. I believe everything in the internet can be copied like white papers, websites, team of developers and staff and advisors etc. There's a lot of good artists in the internet that they could make a Cryptocurrency website that is to good to be true. I suggest to check their Telegram channel because an ICO has no telegram channel or any social community are losers and would definitely will not be able to reach their goals like capitals and attract investors. These ICOs and coins are in a very clear state that they are scam Cool! Very good idea. The more people focus on the coin, the higher the coin fly after it list on the exchange! Attention to the bots, look at the meaningful message in the telegram group! To know if ICO is scam if there are very convincing to participate to them and many promising can happen when you joined to them. And since there so many new ICO show up, its really difficult to know who is real or who is not, so you need to do is read first there white paper. Can you put all your faith by the promise words in white paper? For me, I don't have enough brave to do that, because I don't trust anyone through some beautiful words, it's the skills of the scammer and you can get scam from these people easy. |

yes it is safe to participate, just find and join but please be careful in investing when you participate to an ICO so they can't scam you, because it's too many scammer in every ICO's so be careful in every step's you will do and i hope you will find a nice and good ICO to participate
How to help us get safe when we invest into ICO? You shouldn't only gives some words and forget the most important here. Find the good ICOs project is very difficult because there is no method to know the future of an ICO project. Example KICKICO, a potential ICO project, launched product, airdrop every month but the value still below the ICO price in 6 months . |

I put my money on ethereum. This coin will probably be prime investment for this year, maybe Im wrong but this is my opinion. We saw bitcoin price going up last year think that this year will be good for ethereum investing cuz think we will see ethereum going over 3000 this year.
In my opinion, Bitcoin and Ethereum are growing in this year, the value of Bitcoin needs to correction below $10,000 and we had many signals since last month. I wasn't surprised when the price of Bitcoin dumped below $8,000 because this value just reached MA 20 of Bollinger Band (Chart Month). |

I am a person that gains profit from investing in ICOs but now I'm having second thoughts. I know some ICOs are potential scam so I am really picky to where I put my money.
Anyway, considering with what happened to Ethereum price and with the nearing Aigist 1, do you guys think that it will still be profitable to invest on ICOs mostly on ERC20 tokens and those accepting btc payments?

Ripple is the cryptocoin not a currency.It is use only in crypto world.So it is not a currency of the future.
Not used in real world lol Didnt u read about all the real world uses of XRP? You have but u still insist to be retarded Virtual currency in the technology but the value is real, the power to using for the world is unlimited. Ripple is really good, it can helps us solve the problem about transaction fees and confirmation time. Not like Bitcoin or Ethereum, Ripple doesn't need to have miner and depend on them. |
