Hi there, i am playing around with kangaroo and i am not sure if it's working correctly. Why is it saying "Kangaroos: 0 2^-inf"? Also, whats the meaning of HT Max/Min/...? Would be great if someone could explain it to me. I am running kangaroo in client/server mode with server command: ./kangaroo -w save.work -wsplit -wi 600 -o result.txt -d 24 -s in.txt Here is an example of one of the workfiles, as it's saved every 10minutes there are severall workfiles now. Kangaroo v2.2 Loading: save.work_27Jul23_101320 Version : 0 DP bits : 24 Start : 200000000000000000000000000000000 Stop : 3FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF Key : 03633CBE3EC02B9401C5EFFA144C5B4D22F87940259634858FC7E59B1C09937852 Count : 0 2^-inf Time : 00s DP Size : 2.3/5.7MB DP Count : 11186 2^13.449 HT Max : 3 [@ 00B207] HT Min : 0 [@ 000000] HT Avg : 0.04 HT SDev : 0.21 Kangaroos : 0 2^-inf
Do you merge them for example once a day and only keep the merged file or do we need the save.workTIMESTAMP too? Thanks a lot

Hi everyone, I am a newbie and would like to join in and get some tips, although it is not clear what it will get me. First IT took me two days to download and sync the wallet because my Internet was so slow. What should I type in next to get him to work to get some fedoracoin? Here are some of the commands I typed in. I found high CPU usage. " 09:03:49 setgenerate true 09:03:49 09:04:20 getmininginfo 09:04:20 { "blocks" : 4121189, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 41.21353857, "errors" : "", "genproclimit" : -1, "networkhashps" : 3124090271, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false, "generate" : true, "hashespersec" : 0 } " Does that mean I'm working? Am I doing the right thing? Below is my TIPS address, hoping to get some tips donations. TIPS:EZiFasPDkdW2vpy3eiC7pBNmkJVoLdS62k
wow coool, I recently received some Fedoracoin, which is exciting. But I still haven't solved the problem of the full node wallet getting Fedoracoin. My "hashespersec" is always 0, I don't know what's wrong. Hey there, sorry for the late reply. In order to mine some TIPS, if you want to solo mine, you need a miner software for GPU or your CPU. CPU will most likely not be strong enough as there are scrypt asics out since several years. If you want to try solomine your fedoracoin.conf needs this (as a minimum): rpcport= any port you wish rpcuser=rpcuser rpcpassword=rpcpassword rpcallowip= IP of the machine you want to mine with
As soon as you have the right config you can setup your miner to mine directly on your wallet. But as mentioned there are some asics and your GPU might need a lot of time (and energy) to find a block. Feel free to ask me again, if you have any questions Happy chrismas, stay healthy!

You can also add cryptohamstr.com to your addnodes, as daemon has enabled in- and outgoing connections. If you can't use it as a node, please get in touch with me. I will have a look then Thank you for adding fedoracoin. Every exchange did start small Getting new traders might be difficulty nowerdays as many "old" crypto people did see many "sorry we got hacked" exchanges ^^

Is there still development going on? I did check this topic early this year and it seemed there was some development. As far as i know, ERC is only POS right now, is this correct? I was reading about pools being available but with a stuck blockchain. If there is POW available i might be able to setup a pool on https://cryptohamstr.com if needed, node will allow in/outgoing connections in order to help the network. Please get in touch with me Thank you for your offer, you've got mail
have fun Matthias
. Working on the pool, i will post as soon as it is ready Let's restart ERC! =)

**October 31, 2021** There is a problem with the wallet machine, stopping from working from time to time. Machine needs to be rebooted and after that, daemons are finde again. I did have a look and will contact the datacentre tomorrow if the problem occures again. I have the feeling they did "update" the VMs host as the problems started to occure after i received email about ongoing datacentre maintenance. I will post here again as soon as problem is resolved.

There is no possibility to "compress" the blockchain right? So BitcoinSV size will get bigger and bigger? Nodes on VPNs might rly struggle with disk space, as most of them have SSDs and SSD storage is not very cheap. Do you have noticed some nodes not being online anymore or is the network fine? Thansk for you fast reply!

Hi,
We are working on a new version of the Verium Reserve Vault.
I should be able to release a new Beta version in a few days and i will of course share it here !
That version will have a few optimization on the speed of launch and also will permit us to use the same codebase for Vericoin & Verium.
Regards
@mderasse
How are things going? This was mentioned very often and is, for me, one of the bigger reasons why there is not much attention: Please try to be more active on bitcointalk. I know there is a very active slack community but most people informing about coins will go to bitcointalk.org and read there. If there is no new comments on the threads they might think the project has been abandonned, This is not only for vericoin but for other coins not being active on bitcointalk. New people, being interested in a project, will most likely not join slack or register on reddit, they want the coins bundled in one forum, and this is bitcointalk.org and other altcoin related boards. Pleaes keep this in mind and try to post some updates here on a regular base. How far is the development of the binary blockchain? If both chains could be combinded soon, both project might recover very fast.

Problem with pool nodes has been resolved. The coin causing the problem due to highly incrased blockchainsize has been stopped and is resyncing. If the problem is there again after the coin is synced i will remove the coin.
Any new coin suggestions i might want to add?

I just noticed that the blockchain did explode to 1.4TB Did someone else notice this already? I deleted all the blocks and let it resync from the beginning. Curious to see if it will go up to 1.4TB again. Seems too much for me, some nodes might run out of free disk space and stop working.

Thank you, daemon has been updated and is running.

"version": 160300, "blocks": 2521585,
Is this correct? If so, upgrade is finished
