Yop, did that,  but the BuildCheckpoints is supposed to work,  and it does for darkcoinj.   So I am thinking there is a problem somewhere.

https://github.com/morinpa/limecoinj/tree/quebecoinj

Seems to be close to working, but I am stuck.  I though maybe somebody could take a crack at it.

Library compiles, but the BuildChecpoints test fails.

Hey Ghonyme

The limecoin java library from HashEngineering is probably the one that is the closest to quebecoin.  It's got x11, and dgw2 in there.  But no front end wallet.  It might be a good starting point.

That would be great !

The Android wallet should be good. If nobody is working on  it, I can do it....

There are exactly 20786641 coins that have been invalidated.

Update your wallets people!

and no more need for nodes in the config file.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A Basic Guide/Tutorial for Creating DNS Seeders on: June 28, 2014, 12:57:19 PM
Hey PereguineBerty

Thanks for the guide, it was helpful.

But I still have a question.  What does this do?

static inline int GetRequireHeight(const bool testnet = fTestNet)
  {
     return testnet ? 0 : 470000;
  }

Return 0 when on testnet and return 470000 when on mainnet, I guess, but what does in control exactly? Trying to adapt this for another coin and I don't quite understand this part.

Thanks

Yes, it is possible.  They use different ports.

You could try PIMP.

Hi Geekz,

I really like the look. But there is just noticed a little thing...

the output of q/nethash seems to be out of order and missing a value.  I would guess the netHashPerSecond is the value that is missing.

date,difficulty,blockNumber,target,avgTargetSinceLast,hashesToWin,avgIntervalSinceLast,netHashPerSecond

You are forgetting about the 210000 QBC IPO and the 21000 bouties and the fact that the same QBC can be traded more than once.

In the last 24h there was 840000 QBC traded but on there is only 732000 QBC in circulation.

My question to expert in altcoins is : Do you think that a hack is possible to produce false QBC Huh?

If this is a doomed coin, why is net hashrate so high ?  Difficulty is at 47.   Somebody didn't get the memo.  Maybe somebody is preparing a re-launch that will make that 21 000 000 coins pre-mine un-spendable.  They would be strip mining it right now while everybody is abandoning ship.

Just a theory.  I also have one about a magic bullet in 1963.

Is everybody's wallet stuck on block 25991 or is it just me?   moonchain.info doesn't have any blocks after that either.

I use putty.  Not a remote desktop, but a SSH connection.
