Error: failed to load wallet: invalid password
I can't remember setting a password for the wallet, tried all my pws. It is an "old"
bitmonero wallet with 100 coins (last updated on 2014-04-29), perhaps not compatible with monero? Or did I just lose my password?

I strongly disagree. The devs get paid. (The ominous 5% someone stated before) This is a commercial product.
If Microsoft releases something crappy everyone bashes Microsoft. It's just the same here.
Additionally your argument regarding solo mining is not valid at all. Only people with huge rigs can really solo mine. I tried that myself.
Pools for CPU coins are the only way your average non-freak user can participate.
I understand your frustration. Your frustration is completely valid. However, I instead of being a stick in the mud, I'd try to spend my energy creating and moving toward a solution to this challenge. You do admit there are plenty of people, little fish like you and me, who are figuring out a way to make it work, don't you? I hardly think I'm a freak for having one nice graphic card on a standard intel i7 4770windows 7/ubuntu workstation. blablabla... asics are out of the (diamond) game, pools are not working yet (perhaps some hidden pools, but this doesn't matter) Only people with huge rigs can really solo mine. I tried that myself.
Lol, this is the best time for all solo miners! I got 8 coins the last 24h with 2x7950 - and 12 coins with 1x5970 and 1x7950. Check http://www.cryptocoinsinfo.com/, time for solo mining. Stop crying, go solo or buy some. Stop bashing Diamondcoin or the devs. |

How does people get 7mh hash rate one 280x?
i am running with this setting on 280x core/mem 1027/1250
--lookup-gap 2 --thread-concurrency 8192 -g 2 -I 20 -w 256
the best i can get is 2.1mh
it's really strange, got 11 MHs on an old HD5970 - my HD7950 = 5.3 MHs, HD7970 = 7.1 MHs... |

I need help to get on the right blockchain. i deleted everything except wallet.dat and legendarycoin.conf and added the nodes 192.227.242.237 + 5.175.194.173, restarted the wallet and bang... on the wrong chain again. Diff 0.17, nice for solo mining, but i feel a little bit lonely  |

My miner is going fine, then all of a sudden it just stops accepting shares. It keeps telling me new blocks are detected, that's it. Once I restart my miner, all is well again for 10 or so minutes. What's the issue? Anyone know? I'm on the official pool.
I too am mining on the official pool. I have not had any issues. Are you using vertminer? screenshot? I just restarted my miner now. I'll post a pic when it happens again. Yes, I'm using vertminer. Here is my setup setx GPUMAXALLOCPERCENT 100 setx GPUUSESYNCOBJECTS 1 Vertminer.exe --scrypt-vert -o stratum+tcp://h2o.imine.at:8787 -u USER -p PASS -w 64 -I 12 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-fan 55 --temp-overheat 90 EDIT - I have 2x radeon 5870. Older cards, so my TC is low. just REM or delete the setx parameters in your *.bat file. |
