I think the quality of posting in this forum is an indication of how modern education and social habits are failing. I understand that it is likely to change when they introduce courses on how to get merits on Bitcoin Talk. I think that is mostly because this place is filled with poor 3rd worlders that don't understand English. I do think school is a complete joke and a waste of time. It's just training people to be good little worker ants always showing up on time. Thats why my school used to give awards for perfect attendance and punish tardiness. we can't have our worker slaves taking profit away from our corporate overlords.

You should realize that billions are already invested in the infrastructure of crypto. all the mining equipment, power sources, etc doesn't come cheap. These big players will never let it die and always push the price up eventually.

I agree that masternodes with huge ROI are often used just to lure people to projects with no future. But you can find some really promising ones too, with solid team and developement roadmap. I think Rebellious is such project, and they recently have announced masternodes when they launch own blockchain later this year. You can read more about it here - https://www.rebellious.io/masternodes/ and below is the reward table. This not only just an masternode. It is one of a triple incentive! When yoi hold an Rebelliousmasternode you can claim a masternode on every clientchain rebellious will built in the future for free!! This means 10 chains 10 masternodes. 100 client chains 100 masternodes. How amazingly is this? This is my pick for the crypto with the most return potential for the future. I'm deep in rebl.

Gentlemen, I suggest you look into the story of Hetty Green if you're not already familiar with her. She basically lived the life of a miser, living in an old apartment in New Jersey whilst being one of the richest people on Wall Street. Everything depends on your standard of living, and it's that standard that determines whether $5 billion or $5 million would be enough to live comfortably. Some people just cannot stop spending money, and they buy the best of everything until they have nothing left. Remember Ken Lay of Enron fame? He was earning tens of millions of dollars A YEAR, and it still wasn't enough to support his lifestyle. So yeah, for me $5 million would be waaaay more than enough to live like a pimp. $20 bln would be overkill. That lady was a interesting read, thanks for posting that. Mike Tyson blew 300million, but a lot of that was stolen from him by his manager and financial advisors. So many lottery winners go broke since the kind of people playing the lottery are usually not good with money or making smart decisions considering how low the odds are.

Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it normal to wait for 6 months for a bounty reward?

Some bounty participants are waiting for awards a year. For example, in the project Excudo. I once waited for a reward of 5 months. When I received the award, I was able to sell the token for a price two times the price of the ICO.
I've had to wait for a year before for a couple of ICOs. Just be patient OP some of these things take a long time. I guess it can be a good thing because you can't sell , you are forced to hold and price will be higher.
