1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 04, 2014, 08:45:43 PM
Anyone been able to get a evga gtx780ti with acx cooling to 640khash?

Highest I can get is around 400.  I'm just guessing different values now.  But the old version could get very close to 650
cudaminer -a scrypt:2048 -d gtx780ti -H 1 -l t15x16 -C 2 -i 0

For vertcoin getting 181khash/sec.  The gpu reaches 1.1Ghz when running cudaminer.  I should be getting over 650.  With the old version gpu would only get up to around 1000mhz.  So now I'm getting 100 more mhz but very bad hash rates.

Start at T15x24 and scale the x24 down by 1 till you find the best fit for you. T15x16 was the best for me, other with 780ti's was T15x20...

The temps have most definitely dropped!

Does memory clock speed mater with this release ? I used to have mine under clocked by -500, i bumped it up to 0 and i gained 20khs.

If you increase the power target to 120-130% you should get around 720khash

I've been feeling the need for better then Stock OC speed, where is the Skyn3t Bios located? I've found several sketchy DL's available but none form the source. Is there a host that is best to get this from?

For 780 TI only: http://www.overclock.net/t/1438886/official-nvidia-gtx-780-ti-owners-club

He has a bios for 780, Titan as well

2 EVGA 780TI reference models with Skyn3t's bios. Per the other posts on this thread, iv tried many combos of C/H/m with T at 15x24 with no luck

-C 2 -H 1 -m 1 -l T15x24 runs at 20khs no matter what C/H/m is at

Best auto was T480x1 at 620khs

This new version doesn't work so well for me Sad

Try progressively lowering it from x24 down to 20 and maybe even lower, see if you get the best results with x20 as some of us do

Thank you sir, very kind of you to help. T15x16 is running at 685khs! Cheesy

cards running at 1188mhz, +105% Power Target, default voltage
x16 gave you the best results? Or did you lower it to that at once instead of testing each 15x24-16? Would just like to know since it's so strange that people are getting extremely different results with the new kernel, with the old one it was very similar for everyone with the same settings if you had the same card and clockspeeds etc.
you have to display the autotune values and search for "bumps".
However the 15x24 problem is kind of funny. It works apparently for certain 780ti (EVGA sc) and not for other (EVGA ref.). may-be the driver version but 15x24 was not working for me with the previous driver version either

Yeah it is weird, i went progressively from x24 all the way to x1 and x16 gave the best results.

Yeah i had it down that far because im runnig on stock coolers, and they were running at 82c.. they seem to be running much cooler with this new release so i'll be pumping up the overclocks.

Im going to be water cooling some time next week, just waiting on UPS to deliver my parts Cheesy

-i 0 -m 1 -l Z15x24

That actually crashes my display drivers with no overclock Sad

The -m 1 flag tells cudaminer to allocate all of its GPU memory in one big chunk. Whether this works depends a lot on your particular computer's main (CPU) memory size because of some peculiarities of the WDDM driver model for graphics.

You can also leave away the -m 1 and try again.

Yeah still crashes, i have been runing my 2 780TI in separate bat files with -d. Works well.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] cudaMiner - a new litecoin mining application [Windows/Linux] on: February 01, 2014, 01:33:51 AM

running  -H 1 -m 1

running  -i 0 -m 1 -l Z15x24

If I use -H 1 in there I actually get much lower performance, something like 250 khashes, strange because I don't consider my overclocked 3930K to be a weak CPU.

That actually crashes my display drivers with no overclock Sad

Oh well, ill stick with 12-18 release. Thanks for the info!

Awesome, thanks.

I have 2 Reference 780 TI's, they run at 22khs with the -l Z15x24 config. Kinda weird. Whats your other config params ? -H 1 -m 1 ?

I'll post it when I get home but u do remember -H was 2.  What params are you running?

running  -H 1 -m 1

What are your settings for the overclock and temperature ? (curious and a bit jealous too ;-)

I put my new psu and put back my old gtx660 oem 1.5gb (and mod the bios to unlock the fan... allways wondered why it was locked at 65%... until I heard it...) to supplement the 780ti.
What kind of hashrate can I expect on MRC ? (right now it is doing around 210khash with the Y kernel. )

I'm running at 1164 with -90 to memory at 106% TDP, the card is at ~64C.  I can push a little more but it sometimes gets unstable. I'm debating flashing a new ROM on the card...
That's strange at Z15x24, I am getting 15khash/sec  (in scrypt... )

Same here! And running Auto doesn't seem to do anything..

Can you throw up the compiled version of cudaminer.exe some where ?

I'm using the version from patoberli in post #3309

https://www.dropbox.com/s/71p1xnwy442mz0m/cudaminer_commit_133_x86.rar

Besides the increases for regular scrypt coins with his new version, I am getting around 5.6-7 khash for scrypt-jane (Yacoin),  excellent work Christian!

Awesome, thanks.

After seeing Romir's post about his watercooled 780 TI , I gave it a try with my "regular" (only overclocked) 780 TI...

With -l Z15x24  I'm seeing ~755khash, a nice improvement over 615-620

To answer some questions:

This is my fulltime job. I work way more than 40 hours a week. I also have two part time employees. It would be nice to hire more, but there are trust issues, so I only work with friends.

The address 1xowiTAdUeux71ExGmSW6qK5FPrGDa3Mp is a transaction "refund".

The US pool isn't any worse than it was before. It's just switching more, which is fine except for the disconnects it's causing.

I'm close to finishing the new tech that doesn't disconnect on coin switches, but it's losing 0.6% of hashrate due to a bug. It might be worth rolling out anyway, with this bug.

Thanks for the fix on the US server, runs great now.

Can you please elaborate on "refund" ? Seeing $80,000+ move to some unknown account from the pools wallet makes me (maybe others) feel like we are being taken advantage of. Specially with the low payouts recently. Please be transparent about the transactions taking place. Seems that middle coin is built on transparency with the nice full log of wallet addresses and payouts for each... lets keep with that trend Smiley

How much are you putting into this pool? Seriously, if people are gonna make the same crazy request, let's see some numbers. Are YOU losing a big chunk of payout? Are you claiming that for 3 days you got .004 instead of .006??

Calm your jimmies sweet cheeks. All i want is an explanation for that $80,000+ transfer. How can you simply look past it ? It came from the pool wallet.. it is potentially money you or I or anyone else could of made via the predetermined profit sharing stated on middlecoin.com website. So again.. how can you simple glaze over this fact that is came from the pool wallet.. and is 100% unexplained. "Refund" isnt an explanation.

I'm wondering why people like you think that the backend movements of coins are your business.

Think for yourself, question authority.

I think that "back end movements" are my and everyone's business because of the natural transparency of BTC and the current transparency of middlecoin. This is a good thing and I am not sure why you feel so offended by my questions.

As H2o has answered this question, there is no need to feel butt hurt over my questioning of H2o.

BTW, Thanks for the great pool H2o. The latest fix on the US servers has me running without disconnects! Keep up the good work  Grin

thanks, that's a transaction.

To go directly from "this is a large transaction" to "this large transaction is fraudulent" is not supported by the links you posted.  all it shows is a transaction took place.

the transaction is without any implication of malice.  it just has to be explained.

i'm interested if there is any type of foul play becuase i do use the site heavily.  However, what you've posted is not 'poof' enough to meet the criteria of fraud.

I personally am not claiming malice. Just curious as to why this huge transaction took place. Why wasnt it used for payouts. etc.. the payout address 1xowiTAdUeux71ExGmSW6qK5FPrGDa3Mp isnt apart of middlecoin.com log.. so it was done manually by H20.

I think, we as a community should know about things like this. Keeping everything upfront and honest keeps everything civil.

tealover, did you ever resolve your issue with Eroxors?  he claims you owe him either a videocard, or 0.5BTC.  he also claims you have not contacted him in weeks.  is this true?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=224772.msg2520553#msg2520553

this is the information contained in your 'trust' record.

So you don't give a fuck that he transferred 98 bitcoin to some address instead of using it for payouts?
really?  you sure it was not used for payouts?  wow.  support your statement with proof of any kind that indicates malfeasance.

If not, you have crossed the line from simple invectives to making false accusations.

In the last payout transaction 8ec2f8f4c9e8bf8a639b4bbe72d3324c1ec686650ca091e4046525d0cc161151 there was a large sum ($81,266.62) of BTC transfered to BTC address 1xowiTAdUeux71ExGmSW6qK5FPrGDa3Mp. This address can not be found on the middlecoin.com log.

Whats the deal here ? I dont want cry foul play right off the bat, but its a bit.. weird.
