Enough to begin thinking it is going live long and prosper. Was it Mark Twain that said "The report of my death was an exaggeration"?

Then what about your family? Do they want bitcoins as a Christmas gifts? My folks would not understand me especially kids

Never gave a though to it but is an interesting question. If it is decentralized, then what institution would issue bitcoin banknotes?

The problem is there are few places where one can use it comparing to the ordinary money. Not many ways of practical use for bitcoin only investing for now

There is nothing we can do but be patient and lower the expectations. It is a long term investment.

It is popular and that's all we know for sure. Hardly someone tell us the exact number 'cause some people might have several wallets.

The value of bitcoin is based on supply and demand and is secured only by our interest and trust in the technology.

Nobody's. I do my own research, listen and read different opinions and make my own decisions. Just like in any other sphere.

Looks like he is uncomfortable with its high risk and anonymity. He prefers to control his money and investments and crypto is not that kind of sphere.
