eXo_coin is unable to attend today, so I am writing at least a short status notice.
- Still working on the final API thoughts for exchanges, sorry they will be released shortly
- launch will be delayed around 2 weeks again for obvious reasons (we need a stable client first, that at least runs 1 week without any problem or crash)
- bugs of latest test has already been bugged out (at least the bugs we are aware of should be fixed hopefully) + added many more checks everywhere + added checks on each memory allocation
- we want to fix the problems in the proxy program before the next update
next update probably late tomorrow

Would like to see a currency calculator for every transaction, if its possible. A question. I follow this thread with all patience and would like to receive SRC for all comments and proposals I made but till now I can't receive SRC because of the lacking MAC-Wallet. Can I get these Sourcecoins later or am I losing now all those coins because of the missing wallet?  Thank you for an answer |

Where is the problem? We all know that IPOs are very risky business. So it would be better to think twice before you make an investment. Sure, there are all the time those guys without balls. For those I propose a new free time activity: Knitting or feeding ducks with old bread. Both will treat with care your nerves of wax!  In my opinion, EXO-Coin will be a huge success. EXO and devs - you all do a great job! I fully trust in you. |

I think that the plan to reserve 25% (of max 10% for developer compensation) for promotion etc. purposes of NEM is way too much. Even 100 million NEM should be enough for this purpose. Reserving that much NEM for the use of so few people seems kinda shady.
And if that much NEM would be reserved for promotion purposes etc. I think every original NEM stakeholder should have an easy way of having a vote on how these NEMs will be used.
Do you think exchanges will add NEM willy nilly ? They'll want bounties and since we'd like to go for more premuim exchanges they'll want A LOT ! When I say premuim exchanges I mean exchanges that don't add every shitcoin that comes around the corner. +1 We'll need an exchange like Bter.com or something else in this league! |

Often only one home base will be the most popular For Doge it is Reddit where they most often plan the projects. For Nxt they use this alt Bitcoin talk forum for a home-base set-up until very recently when they move to their own forum. For Litecoin, Peercoin they use their own forums from early on and don't have much presence anywhere else. We will see where would be growing to be NEM "home-base". Reddit, Forum, or here or somewhere else. For me I feel that having a strong presence on bitcointalk is the best thing, because it exposes Nem to people who are curious about Cryptos but are not aware of Nem. People in a Nem forum are there because they already know about Nem, and any posts that brings up the good things of Nem will be read by others who already know why Nem is going to be a great coin. That's my logic. I am not sure. This place looks more and more like a dumpster with all kind of scams going on. MaidSafe is not here. Ethererum is not here. NXT just left while litecoin, peercoin is never stay for long. If we keep a good vibe going, people will go to our place directly instead of searching for us in this alt forum. The time will show where the home-basis will establish. UP, you're right with all that scams and idiots who hate NEM, but our community is already big and enthusiastic enough to counter every attack in a second. |

I read and commented on the Dev plan a while ago, it was really nice and useful to see it posted originally..
Unfortunately its not really been updated for a while and it seems interest in it as a community doc has fallen off....
when will you be in a position to either update it or replace it with more of a white paper on NEM?
I feel this will help the community understand the coin better and will stimulate people to think about community innovations that can be added which all help to drive use and value after launch.

Sure: IPO will not be closed until April 20. Commit to giving at least 7 days notice of closing the IPO (e.g. in a few weeks time, write "the IPO will close sometime between 7 and 14 days from now")
As soon as people know the deadline and/or see something working, they might decide to invest big and thus will get a huge share. Would you prefer the current style of distribution where several top investors all have roughly the same 0.5 BTC investments and have about 10% share each or one guy owning 90%? I thought about closing it after the Test Net (i.e. a working prototype with basic client) is operational, but now I think it will be better to close it right before the announcement. Best strategy for you is probably to put a small amount now, then increase your deposit gradually as you see things develop. Thumbs up for the great idea! |

@Skillroad. Obviously it's up to you. But we are starting to see investors with one post. These are almost definitely sock puppet accounts. Personally I would have a date limit, only accounts that were open at the starting date of the IPO. Even fixing the date at say April 1st would drastically limit those who want to make tons of stakes. With such a small fee to get a stake there is a lot of motivation for people to make literally 10's or even 100's of stakes.
I'm not bothered by a few sock puppet accounts but if you go for a large amount of stakeholders, those with many stakes will give a bad rep to a coin. Something worth avoiding and easy to do if done now and not later like NEM is trying to do.
We have already been taken, we know about it. We will monitor each account before the distribution of coins. I next week will release a technical plan, where I will show the exact timing. @skillroad. It seems that there are now many sock puppets. Please don't allow them to become stakeholder - it would be bad for the reputation of NXTL. It would be the easiest way just to allow investments from members with 5 or 10+ posts per account, wouldn't it? |
