I think if we go out of our way to invite a veteran users to have a stake, we shouldn't then demand him/her to pay a fee... it just seems rude to me.
We shouldn't go out of our way to invite people just because they've been here a long time. Thumbs up!

I invested cause I think you are a smart & honest guy - don't disappoint us mate!
Thanks! I will try my best not to No anomymity though in this Anonymity is important and I will keep an eye on the zerocash guys, but in my opinion it should not be a default protocol, both for performance and transparency reasons. "Privacy for individual, transparency for institutions." -- Assange As for unique deposit addresses - they will still be possible, but I don't think that removing the comment field from transactions just to force services to generate them is worth it. Comment field in transactions has other legitimate uses. Hello NXTChg.com Whats about Escrow? Is it possible? Thanks in advance for your answer

So of the people on the waiting list, what kind of people will most likely get in? Considering what they can bring to the table. And will they have to provide solid proof that they are who they say they are?
Maybe Utopianfuture should recruit 100 good people or so.
it take us long time to wait with no new information and we do not know whether we were take as a backup investor ,we need to know the truth here. I would recommend inviting Sr. members of this forum to participate with a share of NEM. There is no advantage to allowing the newbie "this coin great" members who are most likely sockpuppets anyway. +1 +100 will they get a free stake? That sounds cool, I'm frequently checking reputation and I think few Hero Members should be offered chance to get stake for symbolic 0.001BTC, or maybe for attaching link to this thread in their signature? I do not agree with your idea. This will be not fair in regard to other NEM-followers. If they want to participate, they should pay at least 750 NXT or 0.075 BTC - this was the last price to join. In my very personal op they should pay at least 1500 NXT or 0.15 BTC because they know now of NEM-reputation - this is a 'symbolic' fee, too.

I'm glad to receive the dev's reply. I'll send my investments to Anon136 within 2-3days.
You're a lucky guy. Sadly I'm waiting now since 5 days for an answer. Hoping that I could become a stakeholder like you, too.

ok a little break for me answering PMs ;-)
here are the latest stats:
accepted (accepted does not necessarily include that they got already transferred): 39 BTC denied completly: 4 people reduced since fairly new or inactive (or only rubbish posts) account (e.g. 1.5 BTC cap decreased to 0.5/0.3/0.1/0.05): 17 people not yet processed: ~20-30 PMs
Thanks to every investor for putting trust into our product!
Thank you for answering in this thread. I was just a bit wondering why I haven't received an answer. So I'll be patient

Hello @ all. I really like the idea of a coin built just gun-lovers like me and you! Are there bounties for translation?

Nxt showed the way for 2nd gen cryptos, Nem can overtake nxt's usability but Nxt will stay there for sure like Bitcoin stays despite better own clones. However things here might go a different way couse newcomers firstly will trate Nxt like other altcoins, also Nem. So if Nem devs and community will work well together on client, usbility and markekting it can overtake Nxt and become a face of 2nd generation coin. Of course adequate mobilization of Nxt dev and community could prevent it to happen. I totally agree with you!

so many crapcoin outhere in altcoin announcement it makes me dizzy . Where do u think this will ultimately lead to ? I am afraid all these crap coins will bury NEM under a ton of crap. I don't think so. Of course there are so many crap-coins right there but in my opinion NEM will beat most of them when its finally developed and released. I can imagine no one else has such a big community standing behind. Maybe NEM need some time in the beginning to get well known but this is all coins inherent. There is no doubt NEM will be special, its just that the crapcoin stain might get smeared on NEM too, some people want to call NEM NEMCoin, I too thought it was the right thing to call it but the more shitcoin I see the more the ending word "COIN" seems more like a negative. Personally I don't mind there being so many coins. Let the people have some fun What does bother me is that a lot of those coins that bringt no actual innovation or value over their ancestors have higher prices than say NXT or XRP. I'm very confident that NEM can be a real big player if we manage to get our message out and people are willing to understand. If people don't want to learn you can't force them. There are just many people that will call any coin shitty just because. I'm not of another opinion. However we should think about mounting some campaigns to attract more people. Our advantage is the bulk of members we have in comparison to all other coins still today! So we have just to use this advantage to get a leading alt coin. You can find so many good ideas in here in the discussion-thread we should bundle maybe better in a new thread. In my case, i like very much the lasts ideas about charity programs.

sorry for asking a newbie question? but why is it important for small accounts to run their nodes. Is it not enough for big accounts to run the system, they are forging all the fees anyway. How does the POI system work anyway, Who or what determines which node is more important. Will it be possible in NEM for a person with 100 NEM to forge more then a person with 10000 NEM? It depends on a couple of factors and I think the details e.g. balance between factors aren't 1000% worked out yet. The amount of NEM you own will still be a factor. Also it will be a factor how much you actually use NEM. If you buy 100000 NEM but never make a single transaction your not going to get very far in terms of forging. It will also depend on what kind of node you are running. If you are running a client node you're not as important to the network as if you're running a server node which holds the entire blockchain. That sounds great! do I need expensive hardware to run the a server node? I mine litecoins, can I use my rig to run a node, is gpu relevent? Do I need a highquality hardrive as it is with emunie? Would bandwith speed be a factor in forging? sorry for asking so many questions, but I really would like to try running a server node? Would electricity cost be a factor? my country has one of the cheapest power cost in Asia I think. It'll probably be like nxt in terms of hardware requirements so really low. It would be awesome to forge without high-end-hardware similar to NXT-forging. I'm a real follower of NEM in regard to unfair distribution of NXT.

Does anyone else find the NEM vs Nxt thing really interesting? It's like communism vs the free market.
NEM is like a malevolent dictatorship. Now they are just pulling peoples' stakes if they don't like what you say. What will happen with him right now? He is totally sick - hope we find a solution that will not damage our image. I prefer to spend his stake to NEM-faucet, so he can't say we could share his stake in community.
