None of the news however made investor put more money to it lately. Price stuck to 20 cents for months already.

Quite optimistic there.
I'm hoping for $0.5 to $1 at the end of the year.
this is VERY possible due to catapult I'm very conservative. Of course I wish at this point I didn't sell most of my initial stake. What above is optimistic ? On the other hand, we're definitively on the #5 position now, ETC is above us (marketcap diff is around ~ $130 mio now). I'm curious, what will be the next progress (not just) in this chart position(s) ... My estimation: Even though I'm not a big fan of ETH, I see in the short term the rise of ETH to the top (in numbers of market cap). However, the loss of XEM is due to the temporary effect as ETH pulls every value out of the most coins atm. After the pull is over, bagholders want to diversify again, which means the gained money comes to other coins which perform reasonably well. Hence, I assume there is no fear for XEM (except for short time loss). In mid/long run an investment in XEM is as safe in gaining value as ETH. just my two XEM! |

Bitcoin had less competition on the market though.
Is $1 the maximum value of a XEM or can it grow indefinitely like Bitcoin/ETH did?
I can remember the time where old Nembers prayed for a raise to 0.1 USD. And now we have 3 times the value that the old ones wanted to reach. But with the upcoming projects in mind, I rather think it'll have the same grow like BTC/ETH beforehand had. (My honest opinion!) Seems so long ago even though its only a short time. The prediction from the NEM team was $0.05 to $0.1. Nem is slipping a bit over the last few weeks due to btc / eth surge, but if you look at t he Nem trading volume, its around a tenth of every other top coin. When interest resumes and volume jumps, we should see another large bump. When looking the last month's volumes, it is clear that the drops are made by some who will jump out of the train or manipulators. The volume is clearly less than in the rise. And ... always, when someone is selling, there is someone buying. Why he or she is buying?? bought at 7000! And woke up with a smile this morning after I saw the rise! |

who is these f..... which put fake sell wall at XEM.....
they want to reduce the price of coins to buy cheaper before XEM starts grow up. very hard to save a patience when see huge falling. Thought that 7000 is the bottom but now see that price can be 4500-6000. Hope that this falling will end soon and we will see a growth. I have invested very much into XEM at high price. Now have to wait a growth... or see how my money burn(( I always take these dumps as opportunity to accumulate NEM. Will there be a dump now? See my last post above! |

I know!! There are bots trading, which most of them have similar numbers but different values. A bit disappointing when you see the value of one of the best coins is declining due to trading bots! However, I invested in NEM for the mid/ long term. Hence, I don't care that much. Actually, this morning I bought XEM again for around 0.00007 (irrespective that the price was declining afterwards!) ;-) |

Well, simply saying yes wouldn't help you at all. I recommend doing some research before you invest in anything. But my personal opinion (and this is my firm conviction for (!) years) is that NEM has the potential to grow into something so big that we cannot face it correctly at the moment. No, unfortunately not. Since the beginning, NEM is rather well-known for its ninja-style releases. What we know so far is the planned release in summer. Don't worry if there are some smaller dips. Just buy as I do! When it comes to NEM, I haven't done anything wrong by following this approach. You'll smile then when ninja-style releases happen (which are coming literally out of nowhere) and raise the value of each XEM that you collected beforehand by the sweat of the eyebrow. |

Hi good question, basically catapult should toss NEM to the moon, possibly beyond. NEM is still cheap cos of poor marketing but is technological beast so soonoer or later, it will overcome. I couldn't explain it better. Thumbs up! |

I can find a group of experienced developers to get us a proposal on the same exact authenticator functionality/app if not more. I don't have much time to do that nowadays but would do it if enough Nemers support the idea of having competitor proposals.
I think some of you missed, that this project is not about authenticator, that's an easy part and if you have ready deployment could be done quite quickly. As far as I understand this project is about building a framework that will simplify development of other applications on top of nem. It is definitely worth to put some XEM in. Will they receive XEM for every reached milestone or will they receive the whole 15 million in one bunch? |
