1241  Economy / Speculation / Re: How much time For next halving? on: February 12, 2023, 06:41:22 PM
In April or May 2024, the next Bitcoin halving is expected to take place. In terms of the value, we observe price pumps close to every halving. It would be preferable if you looked into past halving history. Given that there is a greater demand for bitcoin than there is supply, I think the price of the currency could rise significantly as a result of the halving. As a result, there may be a price increase and a bull market for bitcoin.
1242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Arguments for Bitcoin against UPI? on: February 12, 2023, 06:30:40 PM
First and foremost, we must be conscious that when we possess Bitcoin, we act as our own bank. So, even if store value drops, we can't blame anyone else or demand recompense. Remember that sending one Bitcoin ensures that it will continue to exist as one, even if its value or price decreases. To conduct limitless, borderless transactions that are not possible with fiat currency, we must use Bitcoin. I'm familiar with several MFS all throughout the world. However, there are some restrictions on where Bitcoin can help you.
1243  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Extremely Holding on: February 11, 2023, 07:50:57 PM
Holders will determine how long it will hold. There are numerous factors to consider when holding Bitcoin. Because when owning Bitcoin, everyone has their own ideas and goals. When they succeed in their goal, they will sell it. I wait to sell till I make a decent profit. I advantage from the volatile. My aim is to build my Bitcoin holdings so that I may benefit well in the long run.
1244  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members here on: February 11, 2023, 07:44:45 PM
I could indeed assume you were very enthusiastic when you made your first Bitcoin purchase. Thank you for joining the Bitcoin community. By owning Bitcoin, you have joined the largest Bitcoin community in the world. Since you are on the forum, I hope you have received all the helpful advice. Be engaged in this community and educate yourself about Bitcoin's proper use for things like transactions, storing, and trading. To increase the security of your holding, put it in a non-custodial wallet. Web wallets and centralized exchanges are never secure places to store funds. I hope making your first Bitcoin buy went smoothly.
1245  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This should be bullish for Bitcoin and it's PoW on: February 11, 2023, 07:35:58 PM
Any cryptocurrency restriction won't actually benefit Bitcoin. It's because the ruling is against cryptocurrency and is not at all bullish. Consequently, Bitcoin won't respond favorably in any case. When they are banned from staking, you would think that investors would go to Bitcoin. But due to decentralization, they would stake any other way. Bitcoin does not have a staking system, therefore we shouldn't get too worked up about the restriction on staking.
1246  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My ideals on how to promote Bitcoin in my locality on: February 11, 2023, 06:56:07 PM
It would be good if religious leaders support Bitcoin. But why will they do it is the bigger question. I don't think that would be easy. Since bitcoin is a very volatile cryptocurrency, investors could lose money. So who will bear the blame for such a loss? Religious leaders endorsing Bitcoin may also bring up moral and legal issues, such as whether they should be involved in promoting financial investments and the possibility of conflicts of interest. As a result, I don't think this is a good idea and it won't happen.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People will choose bitcoins more if the number of cryptocurrency option is less. on: February 11, 2023, 06:23:08 PM
I will not concur with the OP. People that are well knowledgeable about cryptocurrency will select Bitcoin or reliable coins. It is not always true that if there are less cryptocurrency options, more users will pick Bitcoin. The majority of people pick altcoins in order to profit quickly from the volatile market and to make a few of x profits. Altcoins, in my opinion, cannot affect Bitcoin. It depends on a number of variables, including the motivations behind people's choice of altcoin, the benefits and potential issues of each decision, and the overall market situation.
1248  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What after localbitcoins.com shutting down on: February 10, 2023, 07:59:15 PM
It appears that peer-to-peer trading opportunities are decreasing. It constitutes a risk to us if a well-known P2P exchange closes. Because peer-to-peer trade is replacing centralized exchange like Binance is currently conducting significant p2p trade. There would be other exchanges opening up for peer to peer trading. However, LocalBitcoin was a realizable P2P exchange. I don't see why a peer-to-peer exchange would shut down. I'm not certain, but I'll guess it's just for a little enforcement.
1249  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 10, 2023, 07:45:25 PM
I doubt that everyone in this room is responding honestly. To be really honest, I'm interested in bitcoin since it allows for borderless transactions without the involvement of a third party or for financial gain. The price of bitcoin has fluctuated dramatically, with certain significant price movements. This has drawn us to the idea of making money by purchasing low and selling high. For that reason, I am aware that most people love Bitcoin. Very few people, if any at all, are aware of the purpose and use of Bitcoin. Basic sense, we're working hard to capitalize on the volatility.
1250  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trans-generational assets? on: February 10, 2023, 07:29:18 PM
Please stop from comparing Bitcoin to a Ponzi scheme straight away. Both are essentially different from one another and are unrelated. Even if use of Bitcoin is still not very widespread, I remain optimistic about it. When individuals give up, bitcoin starts to grow. Therefore, the goal for Bitcoin is that it will develop further as a decentralized, digital money that offers a substitute for established fiat currencies. I believe cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and others have the potential to be accepted everywhere as a form of payment and a store of value, giving users financial independence and freedom from centralized financial institutions.
1251  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching children Bitcoin is not in vain on: February 10, 2023, 07:18:09 PM
What would your present situation be if you were introduced to Bitcoin in 2009 or 2010? If you truly understood Bitcoin and its development, that is. The likelihood is that you would then lead a better life. I believe it is important to consider where we want to teach our children about bitcoin. If you introduced Bitcoin to them early, they would benefit more. It's crucial to inspire people about all the technical aspects of Bitcoin.

However it's important to remember that not all kids should use cryptocurrencies, and that parents should carefully consider their kid's maturity and capacity for understanding potential dangers before doing so.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from a brother's mistake on: February 09, 2023, 07:51:55 PM
Since I am not an initial investor, this is the first I've heard of Alliance Block. But I've already learned from my previous mistakes with related to altcoin. My biggest mistake in life was picking a shitcoin, which cost me a lot of money. Then I stop investing in shitcoin. Actually, I don't need 10X. Enough if I can turn a tiny profit. Therefore, only select popular coins at the moment that follow the trends.
1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How scary could the US SEC ban crypto staking be a sight? on: February 09, 2023, 07:46:47 PM
US citizens are always designed to protect. Therefore, they are acting in their citizens' responsibility. Nothing about a crypto prohibition in the US has been discovered to me. In any case, preventing staking isn't really terrible for Bitcoin. Holders of altcoins would suffer if staking was prohibited, which is bad news. However, some people will go to any lengths to attempt and discredit bitcoin. Actually, it makes no difference because Bitcoin is completely decentralized and won't affect FUD for a very long time.
1254  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and it effect to our local community on: February 09, 2023, 07:19:16 PM
There are no disadvantages that I can recognize when you bring Bitcointalk to your locality. Be careful not to introduce any greedy features that could later become problematic. Everyone is welcome to learn here and share their knowledge. This is a place for learning. Thus, how you introduce yourself is essential. This forum serves as the crypto academy in our view, thus the academy won't be a disadvantage in any way.
1255  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will lead the world currency market?? on: February 09, 2023, 07:02:06 PM
Since it has been in existence for more than ten years, bitcoin has significantly increased in popularity and acceptance as a form of money. Whether it will eventually lead the world currencies is still to be determined. For Bitcoin to dominate the global currency market, a number of criteria, including stability, scalability, acceptance by governments and institutions, security, and regulatory measures, would need to be taken into account. Several issues that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are currently facing in these areas remain to be addressed in the future.
1256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A reminder to all new Bitcoin investors on: February 07, 2023, 06:47:14 PM
It's true that over the years, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies have encountered many difficulties, including bad media coverage and rumors regarding their future. But in spite of these difficulties, the bitcoin market has continued to expand and change.

But I liked the pictures. It's very evident why and who doesn't like Bitcoin. Many things can be described by a single image.
1257  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How many people read crypto exchange terms and condition this day? on: February 07, 2023, 06:41:45 PM
Since this data is private, it is difficult to estimate the precise number of persons who read the terms and conditions of bitcoin exchanges. However, given that this is a widespread habit among users of many other online services, it is safe to claim that many consumers do not carefully read the terms and conditions before using a cryptocurrency exchange.

It is crucial to read the terms and conditions of a cryptocurrency exchange since they specify the obligations and rights of the exchange and the user. This can contain details about charges, safety precautions, dispute resolution procedures, and more. Lack of understanding of the terms and conditions can result in confusion, unforeseen expenses, or legal issues in the future.

It's advised to read terms & condition of an centralized exchange when you decided to use even it take sometimes.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is Bitcoin? openAI ChatGPT edition on: February 07, 2023, 06:09:10 PM
AI is making humans too lazy. On the other side, saving time and assisting with any study. Particularly if you want to know something historical like Bitcoin can provide you with some information. But there's always the worry that the information might not be accurate to the letter. because AI is created by humans, as are data inputs. AI can reply with knowledge that has been recorded. No guarantee of accurate information. Soon, AI will pose a threat to humanity.
1259  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Web Browsers begun to have inbuilt Cryptocurrency Wallets on: February 07, 2023, 05:56:28 PM
Yes, that is right. Several web browsers enabling users to conveniently store, manage, and spend their digital assets right from the browser. Users now have easier access to and use of cryptocurrencies because they are spared the hassle of creating a separate wallet or installing an additional plugin. As the use of cryptocurrencies increases, it is anticipated that this trend toward the incorporation of crypto wallets inside web browsers will spread. I haven't used opera mini wallets and can't assure whether it's safe or not. Use with caution.
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am stopping for legal reasons. Is it really worth the trouble? on: February 07, 2023, 05:32:53 PM
To stay on the right side of the law, businesses that want to accept cryptocurrencies must carefully research the laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. They should also consider partnering with a reputable payment service provider that has experience in the crypto space and can help ensure that their transactions are compliant with the law.

While the use of cryptocurrencies as a payment gateway is illegal in some countries, businesses and consumers are still interested in this innovative technology. However, it is important to be aware of the legal risks and to take steps to ensure that transactions are conducted in a compliant and responsible manner. By doing so, they can help promote the growth and adoption of digital currencies while protecting themselves from legal consequences. So I will prefer don't use crypto as payment gateway since it's illegal in your country
