201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cashless Socity and Contribution of Bitcoin! on: February 10, 2024, 09:11:31 PM
To be realistic Bitcoin isn't helpful for cashless payment systems right now, and it won't be. Due to high transaction fees and long waiting times, merchants won't accept Bitcoin payments. But the traditional cashless system worked instantly and with no fee. In my country, the Mobile Finance System (MFS) has become most popular. You don't need to carry cash, and every shop now offers an MFS payment system. The fees are too low compared to bitcoin. Bitcoin would help the P2P global payment system. I don't imagine Bitcoin would be used like cashless payments everywhere unless it solved transaction problems.
202  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it have positive/negative on bitcoin development? on: February 10, 2024, 09:03:54 PM
How can Bitcoin collapse if satoshi is arrested?
Bitcoin is doing well without his presence and satoshi can't fully influence it, If there is no acceptance to the changes in this source code it would end up like a fork.
It's pretty simple: the community would be broken when Satoshi arrest for some reasons. As a result, Bitcoin would collapse. I am not saying it will vanish, but that will impact Bitcoin massively. Let's say Satoshi just revealed himself and will not be arrested. Then he can influence Bitcoin directly. Imagine that Elon isn't Doge's creator, but he can influence Doge. So Satoshi is more powerful than Elon. It will definitely impact Bitcoin based on the Satoshi Movement.
203  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My first Bitcoin on: February 10, 2024, 08:55:50 PM
You are a beginner, so just start accumulating bitcoin. Since you can't buy Bitcoin at once, the best strategy is DCA. It means just accumulating bitcoin every month from your savings and holding it. For holding, you should use a non-custodial wallet like Electrum instead of storing your funds on centralised exchanges. I prefer Electrum because you just started your journey. But when you can afford it, just buy a hardware wallet to store your cryptocurrency. Whatever wallet you use, you must secure your seed phrase. Otherwise, you would lose everything.
204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it have positive/negative on bitcoin development? on: February 10, 2024, 08:47:35 PM
Anyone who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto without proof is just a joke. A few people claimed yet to be Satoshi Nakamoto, and eventually they failed to prove it. Most likely, there will be a negative impact if Satoshi Nakamoto discloses himself. He might be arrested, and Bitcoin would collapse. Though Bitcoin code is open source and decentralised, the real creator could influence it if he wanted, which would have an effect like centralization.
205  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AI-generated fake IDs claimed to pass crypto exchange KYC are selling for $15 on: February 09, 2024, 09:09:06 PM
It's a matter of concern now how accurate the verification process is. How is the provider verifying identification without proper investigation? Fake means their data isn't stored with official authorities. When it is submitted for verification, it should be detected by KYC verification providers. Usually, exchanges use a third-party KYC verification system. If the KYC verification system becomes broken, then scams will rise again. Most scammers will use it and find smart ways to scam. So exchange should enhance the verification system.
206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Limitations or scalability issues with the Bitcoin network on: February 09, 2024, 08:57:51 PM
I admit the transaction issues arise due to limitations, and transaction fees become high when the network is congested. But the environmental issue was just raised by haters. There are a lot of power consumption sectors where no one is talking, even though they pollute the environment. But they talk about Bitcoin, which uses less power and causes less environmental pollution. However, it would be solved by using renewable power sources, which is happening. But developers should find a solution for the transaction issue outside of the lightning network. Due to the complex system, not many consumers want to use the Bitcoin lightning network.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Help me understand this apparent contradiction between bitcoin and inflation on: February 09, 2024, 08:43:24 PM
In my country, when inflation goes up, all foreign currencies, including the USD, go up. That means our native currency value has dipped due to inflation. So it's expected that the Bitcoin price will also rise when inflation increases. And due to the volatile behaviour of Bitcoin, it would rise more compared to foreign currencies. Usually, when inflation increases, we search for more income sources. As a result, those who are familiar with Bitcoin begin to accumulate it, causing the Bitcoin price to rise even further.
208  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are credit unions so much safer than banks? on: February 08, 2024, 10:08:54 PM
In my country, banks are suffering greatly, and several banks may declare bankruptcy at any time. But I haven't heard any credit unions suffer in my country either. So far, I know there aren't many credit unions in my area. So we were forced to use banking services. From the investigation, law enforcement found that a lot of corruption is responsible for the distress. So in credit unions, there is likely not much corruption since they are nonprofit organizations.
209  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Isn’t it better late than sorry? on: February 08, 2024, 09:36:36 PM
Believe me, after ten years, people will feel sorry why they haven't bought Bitcoin in 2024. So I can say it's not too late for Bitcoin, actually. Don't expect Bitcoin to dump $3K again. Global inflation is too high, so everything has become costly right now. So I don't see any reason to dump Bitcoin hard. The best way to accumulate Bitcoin is through the DCA strategy. You can still accumulate from your savings. Believe me, it's still not too late, so there's no question of being sorry if you start accumulating now.
210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New Concern Regarding the Future of Bitcoin and Crypto Industries ! on: February 08, 2024, 08:38:34 PM
Why are you worried about haters? From the beginning, they have been trying to downgrade Bitcoin, but they are still struggling. As a result, they were unable to bring down Bitcoin. They are fiat alliances and anti-Bitcoin figures. They can't influence Bitcoin, but rather just spread negativity. Who care? Still,  we love Bitcoin and will love it till the end of life. It's not emotions; it's reality. No one can down because this is decentralised Bitcoin. They hate it because Bitcoin is uncontrollable.
211  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: February 08, 2024, 07:13:17 PM
Have you tried linking it with Apple Pay / Google Pay / Paypal yet or some other payments provider?
Yes, I have been using it through Google Pay and Apple Pay as well. I haven't tried PayPal since it isn't available in my jurisdiction. But they mentioned it should work on PayPal as well. I have yet to check if my physical card is working on an ATM machine; I just activated the card. Contactless payments are working smoothly in my country in the physical store. Their refund system is also working fine; one of my Google payments was refunded smoothly. I like their overall service.
212  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Struggle now to invest in Bitcoin for a bright future. on: February 07, 2024, 08:26:36 PM
Many of us know about Bitcoin. But due to a lack of funds, we regret about Bitcoin investment. Many people, particularly those from low-income families, regret when we can't invest in Bitcoin. Though we can't solve this problem, we can struggle to achieve our goal. For our daily needs, we must need money to survive. Sometimes we spend money on unnecessary things. So we can avoid spending unnecessary money because we can survive without it. And we can start investing in Bitcoin with that money. We have to find a solid income source, even if it is small. So we can go ahead with our bitcoin investment. If we struggle now, we may build a bright future. Even students could save some money from their daily spending and invest in Bitcoin.
213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A student investing in bitcoin? on: February 07, 2024, 08:15:19 PM
Invest so that you can afford the loss. So yes, most likely, you can invest in Bitcoin from your savings. You can just follow the DCA strategy to accumulate bitcoin. You must have enough patience to see handsome profits from Bitcoin and wait for bull runs. This is the perfect time for you; instead of unnecessary spending, you may invest in Bitcoin. When you hold it for a long time, some day it will change your life. Struggle now for investing in Bitcoin, which would give you a happy life in the near future.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is nothing like it since the past 12 years on: February 07, 2024, 08:08:43 PM
Without a source of income, you can't survive anywhere, either in real life or online. Until you become financially established and solvent, you should have a job or business to earn money. So that you can survive and invest in Bitcoin from your savings. Once you start investing following the DCA strategy, it will be a big amount one day. So you may come out of a poor life. It's good to see that you know about Bitcoin and try to accumulate it. I believe you can do something good with your crypto investment. You just need patience.
215  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: RedotPay Crypto Virtual Card & Pysical card. on: February 07, 2024, 07:56:53 PM

I received a physical RedotPay card.I have ordered a physical card from RedotPay. Yesterday, I received it after waiting almost a month. I was curious about their physical card and eventually received it. I have been using their virtual card and contactless payment system. That's how we directly use cryptocurrency for online and offline shopping. I ordered a physical card to withdraw funds from the ATM machines. I haven't tried yet to withdraw funds due to being busy in real life. Hopefully, I will try to withdraw within a couple of days. I will update you on how it works.
216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Please stop asking for "legal tender status" on: February 06, 2024, 08:56:13 PM
I think OP misunderstood and mixed everything. Legal tender doesn't mean being forced by the government to hold or buy Bitcoin. It does mean that if someone offers a Bitcoin payment, you have to accept it. If no one offers you Bitcoin to exchange something, you don't need to be involved with Bitcoin. Its like two currencies in the same country. When someone offers native currency against something, you are forced to accept that native currency. Where Bitcoin is accepted as a legal tender, there are two native currencies.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin in a Cashless Society on: February 06, 2024, 08:36:22 PM
Be realistic. Do you believe Bitcoin would help build a cashless society? Was it a Bitcoin goal? I don't think so. Because Bitcoin fees have become higher, and most likely, they will continue. For a long time, transaction fees have become unrealistic. We thought it would become normal after a few days, but it seems like nothing. Its true worls are moving to a cashless future, and many MFS services are helping with that. Bitcoin has become an investment opportunity. If transaction fees become lower, then Bitcoin would keep playing a role in making a cashless world.
218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does BTC mean to you? on: February 05, 2024, 07:53:00 PM
Bitcoin is financial freedom for me. To be honest, it's not about Bitcoin alone; cryptocurrency gives me financial freedom. I can spend my crypto worldwide in various ways now. The Bitcoin goal was to create a p2p decentralised money transfer system that we are taking advantage of. Also, Bitcoin has become an investment opportunity from which I can make money. So Bitcoin makes my life easier than before. We can work at home and receive payments from all over the world.
219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It's stupidity to have thousands in Bitcoin using a software wallet on: February 05, 2024, 07:46:12 PM
Those who are very serious about securing their funds must use a hardware wallet. At the beginning, crypto users don't have the proper knowledge and experience about wallets; hence, they start using a web wallet. It is very risky to store your funds in a custodial wallet. A non-custodial software wallet isn't very bad if you know how to use it properly. But a hardware wallet is always preferable. To secure both wallets, you must secure your wallet seed phrase. Spending a small amount on a hardware wallet would save you funds.
220  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: VanEck, GrayScale, Fidelity and others Now on Google Ads. on: February 02, 2024, 10:03:51 PM
I can't recall the press, but I have read somewhere that Google started accepting crypto ads again. On your screenshot, it seems true and crypto ads are ongoing. It has good symptoms for bull runs. That's how more new investors will be introduced to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. ETFs are already helping push up the Bitcoin chart; if ETF companies run Google ads, it will be easier to attract new investors. We can say it's a massive adaptation for Bitcoin.
