221  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency October discussion on: October 01, 2018, 10:47:51 AM
I hope that this month, will welcome a strong capitalization from new investors, then the market will flourish, and you, do you think like me?

Usually everyone expecting like this. Especially those are holders. But unfortunately never happen what we expect. Actually market effects for various reason. Lot of negetive activity and news is responsible for that. Especially negetive news for ETF if reflect on crypto market. But as far as I know, few positive news around end of year. It will not bad if we expect little pump on last of year. But my own opinion, there is very low chance that btc will cross 10K on this year. If btc pump than obviously it will effect on Alt coins by the way. And I hope most of Alt coins will recover end of this year.
222  Other / Meta / Re: My review of newbie list for merits. on: October 01, 2018, 07:37:25 AM
That's good. Since theymos implement new merit system, we should help quality poster those are demoted. It's too difficult to find especially on Altcoin Discussion & Bitcoin Discussion board. However I spend some time on both board lately, and I merited few people's. I am wondering to help 3 or 4 people's per day only demoted quality poster. We need to be little bit soft, even their post isn't 100% quality we need to visits their post history. If no lot of spam on their history than we could help them.

In my opinion, we should concentrent few quality poster those are demoted. We shouldn't just throw out them.
223  Other / Meta / Re: Can somebody tell me why merits are not given in the bounty selection? on: October 01, 2018, 07:03:29 AM
Merit button should be remove from bounty and ANN board in order to prevent merit abuse. Why are you seeking for merit ? You just need to bounty. Is there merit requirement for perticipate on bounty ? Personally I don't think there is any useful discussion. So how you expect merit for bounty report.
224  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam - EXSPACE ICO - Fake Team & Ponzi scheme on: September 30, 2018, 09:05:33 PM
WOW, what a fake project. I was reading the announcement and there was scam written all over it. The way they will distribute their funds is fishy. I am very glad there are people like you trying to unmask these projects. Keep up the good work!

That's the ICO I spend long time to investigate ever. Very hard to download their whitepaper. Almost more than 5 hours spend to made total report  Roll Eyes due to my internet slow lately Embarrassed

With trader like James White and his minimum 30% weekly they don't need other traders because they can simply follow Mr. James and make 30%, especially that poor Mr. Andrew with min. 1.5% daily.

Whoever can make 1500% annual doesn't need money from community. Obvious scam is obvious.

Most likely all picture are collected from internet and edited.
225  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie Campaign (PRIVCY) on: September 30, 2018, 08:45:30 PM
How credible is this user? I don't know him, and don't use discord.

I don't know also about him. But I don't trust new manager without escrow.

That thread was started by privcy-manager. He hasn't responed to the (alledgedly) fake campaign.

I had send PM to manager about this thread.

229  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Xatra.io [BOUNTY] - SCAM - Fake Team on: September 30, 2018, 12:45:53 PM
Please add all reference link of your investigation. You just add link of your image code. Do we need investigate again ?
However I already send PM to bounty Manager for locked or delete the thread. Let him give answer on this accusation. Also I update on their bounty thread.

Why they open new bounty thread there is another old bounty thread by same manager; https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3003884.0

Even you didn't archived website correctly. So how we will identify?

And look like they are live on exchange according to bounty thread.

I think they will sale their token from exchange. That's why they had open new bounty thread.
230  Other / Meta / Re: @Theymos should consider guidelines for bounty managers. (Here is draft) on: September 30, 2018, 12:20:48 PM
This could potentially be abused by the project's competitors. Create a bunch of alts and spam post your competitor's ANN thread to get it trashed.  Roll Eyes

So bumping thread should allow? I don't think it will happen very much. Everyone's busy with their own projects. I accept it might be hapoen 0.1% , it doesn't mean we should allow bumping ANN thread. On the other hand accoumt also will permaban those are related with bumping service.

Bounty budget and the number of participants are negociated and agreed by the team and the bounty manager. Nobody's business, except them, how many participants should be allowed to participate.

Budget details should publish from beginning. Should not change after end of ICO.

Everyone has a different method to run his campaign. There is no one's business to intervene.
That's why need guidelines or rules.

The number of posts are usually required by the business. Can you force a bounty manager not to take a job because his client wants 25 posts per week?

Clients are not allowed to decide about forum rules. Only admin can. I told you, that's why need guidelines from admin.
231  Economy / Reputation / Re: Merit exchange between two accounts on: September 30, 2018, 12:10:21 PM
Yes, it's look to me clear merit abuse. I am not sure DT will tag for it. Since this merit trade on local board, I don't know what is on the post. But I don't think they deserve such as amount for this kind of post.
232  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: This is why facebook is useful and important for ICOs on: September 30, 2018, 11:57:39 AM
I will call Fakebook instead of Facbook. However, only way to determine real team is live video. It could be any media. To be honest, most important thing is how they are trust worthy. Scammer can scam even they come on live video.

I never trust on LinkedIn also, because you can buy an account from fiverr for 20$. So What is the value of LinkedIn ?
233  Other / Meta / Re: Anyone got board wise merit analysis ? on: September 30, 2018, 09:33:16 AM
In my observation, most of highly established people and most of merit sources are ONLY active here in meta (and in local sections) for finding high-quality posts.

Your thought is wrong. Almost all local board have a merit source. And they are also meriting on others board also. Questions is about quality post. Even I am not a merit source but I visit Altcoin Discussion & Bitcoin Discussion board lately to help newbie. But problem is there isn't much quality post.
Only a few local sections don't have sources now.

Lafu already give you details where you can see more details.

235  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Bitcoin Account for Sale on: September 30, 2018, 07:24:38 AM
I am genuine person and son of Good mother.
No doubts you are a human.

All mother is good, but account sale are not good.
A good mother son should know this. How you get account ? Obviously form others, but how you confirm that accounts are not stolen? Just say , your are good man but there isn't any guaranty that your account isn't hacked. So stolen account and hacked account sale are not allowed by son of good mother.
236  Other / Meta / Re: Do you think is it enough? on: September 30, 2018, 07:14:33 AM
Your subject isn't clear indicate of your main post. Subject should indicate really what you want to say. However there is another thread about it : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4911443.msg44235140#msg44235140

I am also against rules of account buy sale. It should be stop officially.

Another thing I just want to get clarified, is it allowed to post telegram groups links in bitcointalk

This isn't not against of rules.
237  Other / Meta / Re: Requesting Mods to take care of Reports in India section on: September 30, 2018, 07:01:51 AM
Quote
Reports start out unhandled, and are then either marked good, marked bad, or no moderator ever handles them and they stay unhandled. When a report stays unhandled, this does not mean that no moderators were available to look at it; rather, it means that several moderators looked at it, but none of them was sure whether it should be acted upon or not. A report that stays unhandled can be thought of as "soft-bad", since no moderator positively thought that it warranted action.

But problem is if local board has no moderator than it's very hard to determine that post are bad or good. I this that's why moderators leave them unhandled. First need assign moderators for local board. At least they can delete spam post.
238  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: September 30, 2018, 06:51:18 AM
However this thread posted on long time ago. But I am not fan of KYC. This is a annoying word for me. Even for Bounty , Airdrop or ICO I don't like to submit KYC. I just try to avoid. I just come across here to help newbie for merit those are made constructive post. I would like to suggest all newbie for avoid mega thread. There is constructive post but no one will visit here.

Eventually I want to say don't submit your KYC only just for 5/10 $ award. It might be dengerous for you.
239  Economy / Reputation / Re: Newbie Campaign (PRIVCY) on: September 30, 2018, 06:16:42 AM

Use search button before you post new thread. There is a thread about Scam ICO, feel free to read it first. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5004397.0

Can I ask why you post with image ? There is any special reasone ? I don't think it's necessary, this isn't not blog or press release.

One more thing I can't understand how you earn 10 merit from ANN reply. I   extremely surprised  Roll Eyes
