722  Other / Meta / Re: what is actually our mission in the bitcointalk forum on: August 25, 2018, 02:48:31 PM
what is actually our mission gathered in this bitcointalk forum, what just looking for money what the fraternity between countries or between cities .. please his explanation Huh

In one word, mission is share crypto knowledge each other and spread the word about crypto currency worldwide. Actually if there is no strong community, crypto have no value itself. So it's very important to build community like bitcointalk. Of course here is many opportunity to earn money. But did you think without proper knowledge can you earn ? I don't think, even if you want a job you should have proper knowledge about work process. So here isn't different, you should gain knowledge in order to earn.
723  Other / Meta / Re: Why bctalk accounts are getting hacked? on: August 25, 2018, 08:49:10 AM
I saw many people's account are hacked any how.My question is how can anyone hack accounts? And how we can protect our accounts? I don't know if this topic should be written here but i really need these answer.
Hacking isn't much hard work for hacker. Not only account, they can hack database if they want. Depend on security. As far as I know security for forum is very strong.
You should care about your account like hide email, keep password strong. Account might be hacked for your mistake also. Several reason is behind of hacking, like phishing.
There is a helpful thread, it may help you ;   Bitcointalk account security
724  Economy / Reputation / Re: Suspicious signature campaign !!! on: August 25, 2018, 08:28:33 AM
@OP, it's better to update the title and content about ICOforums. SigCamp has released payments to all eligible participants, so it looks fair and at least restore his reputation.

Payment problem for 2nd week not yet solved. They are finding another manager for manage their signature campaign. As far as I know all participant for 2nd week not yet got reward after skip previous manager. Yahoo asked them to release 2nd week payment and they are discussing about manager. I will mark it solve if they clear full payment. Thanks for suggest.

725  Economy / Services / Re: is looking for signature campaign manager on: August 25, 2018, 03:56:13 AM
None of that surprises me at all, and that's why I predicted this new forum is going to fail.

They're basically doing the Bizarro-world opposite of skimming the cream off the top of bitcointalk.  They are sinking the net to the bottom of the barrel and coming up with the absolute worst of the worst we have here and basing the whole forum around that.  It's been tried before, and icodiscuss failed.  This icoforums is going to suffer the same fate.  I'm so sure of that, I'd almost be willing to bet money on it.

Strongly agree with you. I don't know why admin choose this way to build his forum. Paying for posting, how long you can pay ? When you will stop paying people will just skip from his forum. Last few days ago there was another forum called ICOLIST GURU, as far as I know it was paid. But recently look like become silent. How long can pay without revenue.  And it's not much easy to genarate revenue from such as forum. I don't think there is any other most popular forum like bitcointalk (IMO).  Although here peopel not getting paid directly from forum administration's but many way here to earn cryptocurrency. So it's more difficult encourage for diverting people to new forum.

Btw, that's admin wish how he will spend his money. But for signature campaign he should choose trusted managers and escrow.
726  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / May be "Bakkt" will get Approval of the First Bitcoin ETF on: August 25, 2018, 12:16:14 AM
News source CCN; read full details on -
How the Efforts of Bakkt Could Lead to the Approval of the First Bitcoin ETF

After read the full news about Bakkt ETF proposal, I think perhaps Bakkt could get ETF approval from SEC. There are  enough reason to expect Bitcoin ETF approval for Bakkt.

Those ETF proposal rejected by SEC, there are some main reason;
  • Lack of trusted price formation
  • Reliance on futures markets and derivatives

The Bakkt exchange satisfies both requirements from the SEC and if Bakkt continues to establish its focus on finding a trusted price formation, it is possible that it could impact the approval of the first bitcoin ETF.

More importantly, Bakkt, which is targeting to serve institutional investors in the US market, said that its exchange will not allow BTC to be traded on margin or leverage, which is the primary reason why the nine ETFs from ProShares and Direxion were rejected this week.

For above reason we can expect Bakkt can get first Bitcoin ETF approval from SEC. What is your thought?

728  Economy / Services / Re: is looking for signature campaign manager on: August 24, 2018, 04:10:32 PM is looking for a signature campaign manager

can you guys post who's the best bounty campaign manager here he must have a green trust thank you

I was opened a thread : Suspicious signature campaign !!! on 16th August 2018. Unfortunately we can't see any respond from team. In a result finally skip previous manager with fund.

Already yahoo62278 answered. I think he can manage smoothly, even every one will wish to join.

I am currently speaking with the team, users will be paid from old campaign before i'll take over and of course i will be holding funds when/if i take over
729  Economy / Reputation / Re: Suspicious signature campaign !!! on: August 24, 2018, 02:36:27 PM
Finally the suspicious campaign ended terribly after the bounty manager ran away with all the money but luckily the owner paying the participants from his own pockets again.

But the good news is Yahoo is going to continue their campaign most trusted manager of our forum! Wink
That's why I was opened this thread. Without trusted escrow joined a campaign is not safe. Amount wasn't not small. I am not sure manager skip or they show excuse to scam people. If they pay participant that's good. If don't want to pay that means it's well planed skip.

Btw , I am not sure yahoo going to manage their signature campaign. Can you give us reference ? Although yahoo going to manage but  I believe he will consider about payment for existing participant. It will be better is be if he agree to manage their campaign. As well as I know he will not manage without escrow ( also he is an trusted escrow ). If manage by Yahoo , I will wish to join too☺

Good job. They stolen picture from others and just change the name. Scammers want to make us fool. That's why I always told, before investing research minimum. At least use Google search for picture & website. For example if someone search now Google about this project , this thread will visible for all. So that people can aware about their scam.
732  Other / Meta / Re: Please show Trust in Project Development on: August 23, 2018, 10:59:54 PM

Agree, I don't know exactly why it is necessary to hide trust rating few specific board. Although everyone can see trust rating if click in profile but its better to show all board. If some click on my profile they able to see my trust rating that means its publicly visible. I would like to suggest enable trust rating for all boards. Perhaps it will help people to know the poster is how worthy.

735  Other / Meta / Re: can i newbie send merit? on: August 23, 2018, 07:27:03 PM
And if so, how much a day?

Yes. You can give a max of 50 merit to a user every 30 days.

Did you see what is your subject ? " can i newbie send merit?" . I am pretty confuse about your question. Are you want to receive from newbie or are you want to send newbie?  Both answer is yes, if you have smerit. If you don't know about merit & smerit than read this post. I just checked your full merit history, look like you got merit initially. So perhaps you can send 1 merit to another member and you already did it. If you want to send more merit you should earn first.

Your first merit you spend on wrong post. He didn't deserve merit for it.
While we will not be directly moderating this, I encourage people to give merit to posts that are objectively high-quality, not just posts that you agree with.
736  Other / Meta / Re: Altcoin Discussion section can change name to Trash discussion on: August 23, 2018, 01:01:00 PM
All of them have tons similar replies I doubt it was anyone reading this.
What to do with topics like these, report to a moderator?

You are right, most of people never read the topic. Perhaps just see the subject and start spamming. Nothing we can do except report. I am very less active on alt coin or on Bitcoin discussion. Although I visit some time than most of time I used report button. Anyway it's result of signeture, especially Jr. Members. Because most of reply from Jr. Members I have seen ever. That's why it's better option to include Jr. Member to merit system. There should be minimum merit to become Jr.member or disable signeture for them. I can't see other solution at this time.
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: How does SEC ETF rejection affect the future of Bitcoin. on: August 23, 2018, 12:53:33 PM
So it's finally here. SEC rejects most of the ETF applications. So what do you advise I do. Keep holding or sell off? I'm in a dilemma at the moment

Still looking Bitcoin stable on 6k to 6.5k zone even most of ETF rejected. From my side still you can hold. We can see on last year record of Bitcoin price that time wasn't ETF proposal. But Bitcoin price was touched almost 20K. I think this year will repeat the same trend. Just question of time, how long it will take. If ETF approve thoes are remain it will better for investors. Although rejected all ETF proposal I am not expecting Bitcoin price will go below 5K. Btw I will suggest if you can hold for long time than don't sale now. Just wait for end of year.
738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too many new Exchanges on: August 23, 2018, 09:31:02 AM

I think it will be better if start regulation for exchange. There is question of security. An exchange should be regulate same as a bank. Because million dollar investing from worldwide. Especially for new exchange, day by day increasing number of new exchange. Recently most of ICO coming with exchange concept to attract investors. That is harmful for people. Btw I would like to suggest for use well reputed exchange for trading in order to prevent scam.
