RESTRUCTURING UPDATE FROM THE FUND!"The agreement in principle that we have come to here, has a focus on investors and getting assurances from the new fund manager that all liquidation will be processed promptly. Of all the offers that we have come across, this was the only one that is immediately ready for a takeover and willing to meet all our requirements for our investors."You can check out the full update here: https://www.countinghousefund.com/single-post/2019/10/10/Restructuring-Update

Why I have a feeling that previous two posters have absolutely no idea what CHT is about, but farming generic posts for their signature bounties? looks like it

SOME POINTERS TO WHERE THE FUND IS HEADED" The current team will move its focus to being a purely algorithm R&D company, and will lease out its algorithms to the existing fund and other funds that would be interested. This would allow us to both focus on what we are best at and to get the fund under the control of a team able to service all the requirements of our investors and make Countinghouse Fund the fund we have always planned for it to be, with a full suite of desired features, while still maintaining the aggressive algorithmic strategies." IMPORTANT UPDATE ROLLED OUT THIS MONTH"Looking toward the restructuring of Countinghouse, there has been some promising movement, even if it is in one of our back up plans. To this end, Tim is heading over to the Seychelles, the home of Countinghouse, in person as some processes will require face to face interaction. This trip will be in the month of September and Emily will be coming along, looking to share some photos and updates on the Countinghouse social media channels."Read the full Report from the Fund manager for the month of August here: https://www.countinghousefund.com/single-post/2019/08/30/CHT-Monthly-Report---August-2019

1st Monthly report after the transition from weekly letters: " Now that we have commenced this process, we have passed a point of no-return: we can no longer operate under our previous model, yet we cannot operate under our new one until the relevant regulatory bodies have processed our submissions. We do not anticipate any issue with this; it is a matter of following the process and waiting. If for some unseen reason our applications are denied, there are multiple other avenues available to us." There's so much to digest and you can find the details here: https://www.countinghousefund.com/single-post/2019/06/22/CHT-Monthly-Report---June-2019

LOL! the comments were indeed funny. It's kind of a usual market cycle with BTC and OP was right afterall but at least, the market has picked up again after going as low as almost 3k. The market will always have these depressing moments and it's best to invest in the tech right now via projects that have viable utilities.

Rooting for OMI from IEO purchase. Long term hold. Great use case, amazing team, adoption already underway.

It's possible, but until now bitcoin has dominated more price increases than altcoins, but there are good altcoins and have a bright future whose prices are rising rapidly, namely Litecoin
Thats nornal bro . bitcoin is automatically consider as the highest gainer in every single year because btc value is pretty high when compare to other coins (altcoins ) . what the op means here is that if the year 2019 will be a good year for altcoins to experience a price recovery or an increase and id say that yes it is . since we start the year 2019 ive been seeing lots of positive signs ( signs if growth for alts ) up until now . so i believe that they will end the year with a better prices compare to last year . Indeed! btc has to be the biggest gainer for now because, let's face it; btc still has the highest traction amongst cryptos and the whales are more interested in it than any other coin atm. And truly, 2019 has been a good year (at least better than last) for alts in general and we've seen the emergence of some promising coins too being backed by relevant use cases. The future of cryptos seem very bright from my POV.

comparing to the 20 coin in the coin market cap altcoin are too much undervalued right now time to pick some good project for a cheap price good luck in your decision I think nowadays things are quite difficult. because the situation is different from before. the problem now is that many projects are scam. so we are certainly wary of buying a coin. whether the coin is good or not for the future. the problem is that at present many coins are zero or worthless. Yes, that's a huge issue in the crypto space to be honest. However, a lot of projects that burned investors had red flags that could have warned any they were scammy but most people invest in hype. If you want to go into any project, look for those with teams like the ECOMI project, which has Alfred Khan as head of licencing - You'll be assured for sure that they aren't going to just up and disappear. It's important to study a project deeply and watch them long enough before putting your funds in them.

It's always a good time to buy and hold, but not if what you're buying has no use. The best way to take advantage of this market is to find a good coin with a utility that can be deployed and invest for the future, ignoring market movements for the short term.

If you're still holding, you may have recovered some of your funds from the recent greens. 2018 was indeed a year we saw terrible things. But what saved a few of us was putting in cash in projects that had teams capable of making the right moves at every turn. Wish you better investment strategies this time mate!

The market has shocked a lot of experts and has proven (to a large extent) to be unpredictable. I've been a victim of wrong prediction of market movements so these days, I mostly just buy coins that I can hold for the long term due to their great use cases.

They're both promising platforms that can yield great returns in the long term. Personally, I go with projects that have convinced me they are capable of delivering a working product in the long term.

I'm strongly holding ETH. I have my portfolio spread across other alts like this because they have a solid use case backing them and I'm holding for the long term.

Want to be free of whales? Get into real use case projects and hold their coins for the long term. If you're a small investor, you're never going to beat the whales.

First, it's slightly safer to invest in IEOs now since exchanges host the fundraising themselves. Again, don't just invest in any coin, vet it yourself, do some serious digging into the teams and watch them in the channel for a while before putting your money to it. Be weary of coins not backed by proper use cases as well.

About the market being low...what if it goes lower..? (Just kidding LOL!) No need to hesitate, just find coins with useable utilities like this and purchase for the long term as you watch the team behind the project shoot for mass adoption. Better than predicting highs and lows imo.

I know people are going to scream "Go to the big exchanges", "go to binance". Well, if you go by that, you're most likely going to miss out on a lot of amazing stuff out there. In my opinion, check all exchanges hosting IEOs, do your own research on whatever project you come across so you can make informed decisions rather than relying on hype.
