1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Mining , Is it worth it? on: May 18, 2018, 02:24:32 PM
Now mining is relevant only if you have a good and preferably expensive equipment. In this case, it will bring you profit, and will pay off in about a year. If there is no money to buy good equipment, then you should not start. It will be a waste of time and money.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Power consumption of Bitcoin mining on: May 18, 2018, 08:11:44 AM
This fact will affect bitcoin and the opinion of States about it. China is already going to try to limit mining, as this is really a very large amount of electricity. Let's see. Most likely, positive from this is not to be expected.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoins be antiques on: May 17, 2018, 09:55:42 PM
Bitcoin is still of great value, although it has not reached the level of 21 million, and it is now much less. Its value will grow, but not to the level of Antiques. It can become so if the coins are simply lost. And its number will be much less than the planned 21 million.
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC again Fall down at 7k?! on: May 17, 2018, 01:30:23 PM
It is unlikely that this will happen in the near future, as bitcoin is going through a whole good times. Small deviations from the price growth are a temporary phenomenon that could be expected. In short, this is called a correction.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin is Different From Other Currencies? on: May 17, 2018, 12:05:51 PM
The main difference between bitcoin and conventional money in electronic form is as follows:
In order for ordinary money to appear on the account in electronic form, it must first be physically deposited into the account, for example, through a Bank or payment terminal.
That is, for a common currency, electronic form is one of the forms of physical embodiment.
Cryptocurrency is issued directly on the Network and is not connected with any conventional currency or any state currency system.
Thus, we can say that "cryptocurrency is a kind of electronic money.

The advantages of cryptocurrency include the following positive aspects:
1. Availability of cryptocurrency-electronic money at any time.
At the same time, it is impossible to freeze the account or withdraw the cryptocurrency.
2.At any time, you can check the accuracy of the operations.
Open source. Thanks to this feature, anyone can mine virtual coins.
3.Anonymity. Unlike the classic electronic money, transactions which are easily tracked, to obtain information about the owner of the cryptocurrency wallet will not work. Only the wallet number and limited account details are available.
4.Reliability. Hack, fake or carry out other similar manipulations with virtual currency will not work — it is securely protected.
In most cases, the Commission is collected only on a voluntary basis.
5. Limitations of cryptocurrency. As a rule, the cryptocurrency is issued in a limited volume, which attracts increased attention from investors and eliminates the risks of inflation due to excessive activity of the Issuer. Thus, the cryptocurrency is not subject to inflation and is essentially a deflationary currency.
6. The bitcoin is an independent currency. Its issue is not regulated or controlled by anyone on the account. It is this feature that attracts many participants of the Network.
7.  There is no fee for the transfer of funds between countries.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Blockchain - Killer or Savior? on: April 22, 2018, 08:27:15 AM
Blockchain is called a technology that will change us just as the Internet has changed it. blockchain ideologists claim that it is about to lead humanity to a ultra-modern world where there is no theft and deception. how will this happen? Will the blockchain become the Savior of our world economy or its killer? If the blockchain is tightly integrated into our lives, the unemployment rate will increase, and on a huge scale. And this can lead to a large percentage of poverty among the population. Will the world economy sustain such a large number of unemployed, or will society be further divided into social classes.

Blockchain is not the only thing behind uninployment and such things. If you want to work you can as there is always some way to earn money. Thing is that with robots and computers taking the ordinary jobs. Just take a look at the most boring jobs first was assembling lets say cars, and then robots took over. Now even some markets in my town have cashiers where you don't interact with person, where cash register is simply a machine etc.

So how time passes by we succesfull automate some proccesses because we can. At the end of the day you have the idea of universal basic income for the time when machines take over.

It can't really take us to the world with no theif and diception, those will exist no matter where you go and what time it is.

I think that you have msiunderstanding of what blockchain is actually. It is like an decentralized data structure or database that can't be changed and money like bitcoin can be "saviour of our economy" but for that to happen it's still far far away from it.

I understand, but in addition to jobs in factories, which now belong to robots and computers, the blockchain can cover many areas of human activity. You can take the example of banking. A huge number of people work in Bank branches, and the blockchain can theoretically deprive them of work, as it will perform all operations. Or take notaries, the same story. So what about this one?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / LikeCoin on: April 22, 2018, 08:15:47 AM
LikeCoin project is a blockchain Protocol for independent content creators, with the help of which they can get rewards for their original or derivative works.
The company that developed it formulates its mission as the maximum expansion of creative cooperation opportunities. The company announced it during the global summit Creative Commons 2018, bringing together leading technical experts, lawyers, scientists, activists and professionals seeking to create a completely free space available to people around the world.
In today's digital world, many representatives of creative professions will sooner or later be asked to create content for free or to publish their work in social media just for likes. LikeCoin's goal is to maximize creative potential by combining practical recognition and the principles of Creative Commons. The likecoin ecosystem will support content in a variety of formats, including photos, illustrations, videos and articles. Distributors may distribute original content directly or with modifications. These derived works can be used by content collectors. At the same time, the unique mechanism of Proof of Creativity (confirmation of uniqueness) and smart contracts on blockchain will stimulate creators and promote wide distribution of LikeCoin among content distribution platforms and its use by service providers in the ecosystem.
Famitsu, a well-known gaming magazine covering the latest news in the field of anime, comics and games, is already using the LikeCoin network. It is also used by Stand News, whose team is known for its independence, integrity and commitment to high standards of journalism. Today during the closed sale LikeCoin successfully attracted 3 million dollars. More than 1000 content creators from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and other countries have registered in LikeCoin network in 12 months since the launch of the project.

Do you think LikeCoin will change the nature of like?

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is driving BTC increase on: April 22, 2018, 07:41:07 AM
Most likely due to supply and demand. Bitcoins have been the most sought after cryptocurrency in history and a lot of people have been aching to own one. Next thing would be competition. Bitcoins have been the greatest cryptocurrency so far and a lot of currency have been trying to be the next bitcoin.

It is not so. I would add that positive news and trends in relation to bitcoin stimulate its growth. And of course the capitalization of the bitcoin market affects the price. Therefore, there are bears and hamsters that create artificial growth and fall. So-called pumps and pumps.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi Nakamoto? on: April 21, 2018, 10:25:16 PM
Satoshi Nakamoto is genious and i can't understand why he's hiding. We probably know this person but he's not talking about bitcoin for personal safety maybe.

It's hardly one person, it's more like a group of people. Man alone can't be that brilliant. And even if it is a group of people, it is natural that they will hide. On account of Satoshi Nakamoto 7% of bitcoin assets, of course it is safer to hide your identity. Imagine what would happen to Satoshi if they knew who he really was?
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: While you are panicking.... on: April 21, 2018, 05:39:24 PM
Panic in the crypto world is very dangerous, and because of it people lose a lot of money. But do not panic, it is beneficial to whales who are just waiting for such a reaction. And to date, we can see how the bitcoin rate is unfolding, and begins to grow up. With bitcoin, this is more or less predictable, as we can see the same development in the past year.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is gold? on: April 21, 2018, 05:28:41 PM
Fiat will be worthless, because there is an inflation currency that is printed is uncontrolled. And gold is a precious metal that has a limit on our planet. It is logical that the gold does not depreciate, due to the inability to increase its number. But the currency in which a person lays value depreciates, and turns into paper. With bitcoin, this should not happen, because it has a limited amount, as laid in white paper. Depreciation is possible, but only artificial.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as new hope for humanity on: April 21, 2018, 05:01:36 PM
Great motivation, especially for newbies like me. I also often give up, but after reading posts about how bitcoin has changed people's lives, it becomes easier to move forward despite various obstacles. I hope, that through some time I, too, 'll share with whom any their experience and success. And want to be a motivator for someone else.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a currency? on: April 21, 2018, 04:07:04 PM
At the moment, bitcoin is not really a currency in the full sense of the word. But part of the functions of the currency performs. So far, bitcoin acts more as an asset. In the future, bitcoin may perform all the functions of the currency, but it is unlikely to replace Fiat completely. We can say for sure that bitcoin will exist for a long time thanks to blockchain.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It To Late For Me To Buying Bitcoin? on: April 21, 2018, 10:55:03 AM
Buy without even thinking. This is the best time to buy it. The best argument is that the growth has just begun, obviously this is not the limit of the bitcoin price. Best week ever. If you do not buy, then you can very much regret. Look at the growth trend of last year, and immediately it becomes clear that this is a repetition of the same scenario.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why bitcoin is created? on: April 21, 2018, 08:00:20 AM
You can add a few more items: 1. Remove intermediaries in the form of banks and so on; 2. Fight against an ill-conceived tax system; 3. And of course, the fight against corruption, which will disappear thanks to the blockchain.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin legal on: April 21, 2018, 07:42:18 AM
It is impossible to say that bitcoin is approved by many countries, but it is also not banned. Now cryptocurrency is only being looked after as a promising financial instrument. But there are some nuances that are not beneficial to the state. And it is natural that a decentralized system that cannot be controlled will be used in illegal activities.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What gives Bitcoin its value? on: April 21, 2018, 07:13:54 AM
Unfortunately, bitcoin is not yet a full-fledged currency, which you can perform daily operations, such as Fiat. At the moment, bitcoin is an asset with which you can make good money. And it works on the principle of gold. Its limited number causes its constant growth. Let's hope that the status of bitcoin will grow in the near future, but it is unlikely to happen so soon.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from Bitcoin? on: April 20, 2018, 04:08:31 PM
Passive income from bitcoin is now the most relevant way of enrichment. Especially for the long term. Mining has already lost its relevance due to the high competitiveness in the form of huge mining farms in China. Therefore, it is better to invest, especially since bitcoin has already aimed at growth.
