Someone is always trying hard to keep price down it happened at 500s and it look likes its happening again. Kind of a waste of time to do this to accumulate though as no one dumps enough to make it worth while.

this price is just crazy low, this should be a top 10 alt , its mind blowing how this is still hoovering around 350-450 sat.
it basically makes me think that this scene doesn't care about features and devs at all...they just all looking for the next ponzi scam ;/
Like xxxgoodgirls has mentioned a few times, I honestly believe the main problem is PR. I just don't think enough people know about this coin and what it offers - now and in the future. We need to get the word out on a bigger scale. +1 hmm,look like the last Canabisdarkcoin have explode,or darkshibe,this is funny on other side... Maybe rename Opal for PonziDarkweed...  You forgot black in the name xD It seems the devs are doing it wrong they are suppose to hold an overpriced ipo and make loads of promises in development and then not deliver and run off with the ipo money. Tut tut devs stop being legit! |

it all looks very good and sounds interesting but need more exposure.
I agree exposure is critical, but the Devs can only do so much to gain exposure, which they have been (contacting websites, exchanges, verification services, and media outlets). Opal didn't have an ico or massive premine to dump to generate btc to pay for lots of advertising. So, a lot of it falls onto the community to get the coin a larger following. The developers have given you a number of tools and features to speak about. Everything that has happened through Opal has been through shear will and skill of the development team. All Opal needs is for the people who support it ( or at the very least those who want to profit from it) to get out there and just talk about opal and ask for sites to accept opal. The more exposure we get the better. I really do think this coin is here to stay and would love to see the community get the name out there in fun and innovative ways. Here is a list of things you can do. (feel free to add any ideas you think will help) Bitcointalk- 1. Talk about Opal on other BCT threads (not other altcoin threads, thats just rude) Make Opal someones first- 2. Take a moment just talk about opal to friends you know who aren't into crypto (just have them join IRC to chat, plus Opal gets rained frequently) CryptoNews- 3. There are a number of news outlets that cover crypto on: youtube, web, and twitter. Just a sneak preview of the Marketplace (taken from a phone), still very early stages!  Guys, you are awsome, all the progress done so far,all the work you show,the market still not react! I wonder why ?  Don't fight with the price, this is a bad fixation a pnd one, the first 'problem' is this tinny community cannot face another coin, we are too small right now, we only need an adoption plan.( a coin with less feature, devlopment,and more coin have a better price, but they have a growin community and they talk about their coin) Talk, teach, give Some opal ! we can do anything with involve dev,just people doesn't know that etoque speaks the truth. The community we have is still only small, although it is growing every day. A lot of the coins you might be comparing to us probably have a higher price because of fake hype, promises of features that will never arrive and/or are blatant pump and dumps. A lot of those coins will fade away within a few weeks. We don't give false promises and we don't create fake hype. Opal is here to stay and will continually develop, innovate and it's community will inevitably grow. Hang in there for now guys. It's going to take lots of work but we will get there. As etoque says, the best thing you can do to help is to spread the word on social media networks, forums etc - every little bit of exposure helps. Back with some more updates soon  Awesome updates! I agree with this but theres a major problem with some one keeping the price down when people get interested and start buying magic walls appear and stop the growth then the walls start dumping happened three times now.
