1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 4.5c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: August 03, 2019, 10:12:54 AM
Hi all,

I have tried using the commands to setup my min fan speed, but it does not seem to work, as they are working at 22-25%. Since it's summer, i'd like to keep the cards a bit colder and would like to boost the fan speed up to around 40-45% depending on how noisy they'd get.

I do not use any other 3rd party enhancers to control or setup the parameters on the GPUs other than the miner itself.

Should I setup the fan speed from the WATTMAN setting or am I doing something wrong here?

Looking nice!

Code:

Thanks for constantly updating the miner, Phoenix!

Hello guys! Does the miner support the latest drivers, because I have just installed them and tried to run the miner, but I get this message instead >>

I can, though, mine without any hassle with the SRBMiner other algos..
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.7 - with algo switching support on: September 18, 2018, 01:56:12 PM
Quick feedback>>>

if I change the intensity from 0, as per default, to 50 or 48, I get some shares, but also receive the same error message in between …

I remember some months ago I was able to mine with 52-54 intensity?!

EDIT: Seems to not crash with intensity 44, but above that e.g. 45+ I start receiving this disturbing message.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.6.7 - with algo switching support on: September 18, 2018, 01:53:27 PM
Hello guys. I haven't mined in some time Cryptonight-Heavy and downloaded the latest version of the SRBMiner to do so, unfortunately when I start the miner after all configurations have been made, the miner spams only these messages and the rig freezes:

[2018-09-18 16:50:35] Error CL_MEM_OBJECT_ALLOCATION_FAILURE when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 0 for DeviceID 0 (Thread 0)

[2018-09-18 16:50:35] Error CL_MEM_OBJECT_ALLOCATION_FAILURE when calling clEnqueueNDRangeKernel for kernel 0 for DeviceID 3 (Thread 6)

How can this issue be fixed?

Funny thing :

- if I mine Akroma, my cards are hashing around 31.7-8 each
- if I switch to ETH, one of my cards goes to 17.6MH/s and stays like that, no matter how many hours it mines it just doesn't go up

What may be causing this dumb issue? Do you guys have any idea? I have also seen that when I switch to ETH, the other cards' hashrate goes down with 0.5 to 1 MH/s...

Check that you have compute mode on

Thanks 4ward! I don't know why and how, but my GPU was in graphics mode, instead of compute mode. Now they are all running as supposed to! Thanks.

Hello guys,

I would like to trade my DEV coins for BTC or USD due to the fact that I need to cash out for irl things... I am willing to use an escrow for your and mine safety.
If interested - PM me!

Thank you!

PS: I will be trading half of my coins - 1044 for trade atm.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Best coin for mining with RX580 on: May 13, 2018, 05:21:41 PM
UBIQ is a really great project, but I think there are many other projects like ubiq with greater popularity.
In terms of mining - there are a lot of cryptonight-heavy coins, which are insanely profitable to be mined and RX580s are top-notch cards for this algorithm. If you are an ETH believer, you can always mine other coins and buy ETH afterwards. It should yield you 2-3$ more.
That's at least what I'm doing Cheesy
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins to moon 10-20x in 2018 on: May 13, 2018, 05:13:50 PM
If ripple starts working with the companies, it has partnerships with, and they start using the xRP network to transfer funds across the world, I believe it will jump to 6-7$ by the end of the year! Read some information on it, ripple is potentially the number 1 coin!

I think this bounty is closed weeks ago Cheesy I don't even see the devs active in Discord now, dunno if the project is still in development, never heard any news regarding the blockchain development, they are talking mainly about the incoming block rewards.
Ponzi imo, be aware bois ! Cheesy

Dual mining isn't worth it imho atm, so there is no point in putting effort to further develop it. All coins, that are mined as secondary are literally worthless and I do not even see any future for them, except for XVG, which is also not that sure Cheesy Go for x16r and S! These are the future. Cryptonight-Heavy is also something to work on, too!
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain E3 Ethash Miner ASIC (Shipping:16-31 July. $800 USD) on: May 13, 2018, 05:06:07 PM
Would it be better to buy the ethash or the equihash asic miner? Are ethereum talking about switching their algorithm to something else due to the asic miners? I was not able to find any such information.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 2.9e: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Windows) on: May 12, 2018, 06:57:43 AM
I have tried mining some akroma with the 2.9e on my 3card rig and I'm getting almost 96mh/s with the settings 1200/2200! Running stable for the past week or so without any hangs. Great miner!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.2 on: May 12, 2018, 06:41:01 AM
I am running 5x580+ at 1240/2200 with intensity 53 and I'm getting 1k per card! Been mining for the past couple of days like that and it has been a very pleasant and stable experience! I see that from time to time one or two card have a lower hashrate, but the results at the pool are always a bit higher like 5.3kh/s!

20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: SRBMiner Cryptonight AMD GPU Miner V1.5.1 on: May 05, 2018, 01:22:09 PM
I have a funny problem!
When I use the 1.3.2 version I can connect to every pool and mine without any problems.
Yesterday I download the latest version 1.5.1 and changed all of the data in the config.txt file, but as I start the miner it connects to nano pool to mine monero and it does not get any work? Why is it happening and what may be causing the issue?
I am mining with 1.3.2 simply because with the pre-previous version I had the same issues - I think 1.4.0 or 1.4.1 and I rolled back to 1.3.2.
I really want to use the latest version because it gives more detailed information regarding the cards, optimizations etc etc, simply don't want to be stuck in the past Cheesy
