Dear community. As you already know recently there was an unpleasant situation with the coin YENTEN (YescryptR16): the attackers took advantage of the vulnerability in the source code of YENTEN thanks to this they received 84 million coins. This was followed by a price reduction to 0.1-1 Satoshi per coin. Hopefully, the YENTEN community will successfully resolve this. However, many people believe that this problem could flow into the WAVI source code. This is a misconception so it is necessary to clarify this situation. As it became known from the discussion on BTCtalk ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2329470.4140) the reason for this problem was a vulnerability in the source code called CVE-2018-17144 (more information: https://bitcoincore.org/en/2018/09/20/notice/). This vulnerability appeared in the Bitcoin source code in November 2016 in the version of Bitcoin Core 0.14.0 and was solved on September 18 this year in update 0.16.3. So this issue migrated to the YENTEN source code when the fork was produced in October 2017. Therefore this issue is not related to the YENTEN developer (and the YescryptR16 algorithm). Now that concerns our coin. WAVI is a fork of DASH (a fork of bitcoin on January 18, 2014) in which initially there is no this vulnerability. This means that WAVI is not threatened by this problem and your investment is protected by a digital code. Link to the source code of YENTEN in which the vulnerability lies: https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/blob/master/src/validation.cpp#L2859The corresponding part of the WAVI source code: https://github.com/wavicom/wavi/blob/master/src/validation.cpp#L500If you have something to add or make comments, I suggest to discuss it.

I just want to warn the Wavi miners and holder, that Wavi was build by the same developer (Conan) of Yenten. Yenten developer didn't update the bug on the wallet, and make the chain split in 2. The attacker who use the bug was able to create unlimited coins. Now Yenten is worthless, and will be delist from exchanges. Dont waste your CPU or Money is this coin or you will endup with worthless coin, and losing money.
Don't mislead people. WAVI and Yenten have different source code. The only similarity is the hashing algorithm based on YescryptR16. If the error lies in the mining algorithm, then provide proofs. In addition, this happened after the updates Yenten to version 2.0.1.

Scripts for auto install (Masternode+Sentinel) (!):Scripts for automatic installation Masternode and Sentinel for Ubuntu 16.04: https://github.com/wavicom/wavi_scripts/blob/master/README.mdScripts for automatic installation Masternode and Sentinel for Ubuntu 18.04: https://github.com/wavicom/wavi_scripts_ubuntu18/blob/master/README.mdI was interested in this project. What is the cost now? Is there a discount for the buyer of maternodes or should I buy at the exchange rate?
The cost of WAVI varies on different exchanges. All exchanges are here: http://wavicom.info/#exchanges The WAVI hasn't pre-mine, therefore shares related to the sale MN no, only the mining by community. However, you can try to find a seller in our Discord: https://discord.gg/zfrJx73Аs far аs I hеard thіs idеаs dоn't have соmреtіtоrs? Тhеrе аrе thоsе thаt рartiаlly dо what thеу рlаn tо dо, but no оne сomрlеtеlу? Is there alrеаdy a mіnіmum working рrоduсt?
WAVI is the first coin to use The yescryptr32 mining algorithm, and as far as I know the first coin with masternodes support on yescrypt. WAVI is a cryptocurrency that is a mining product that allows you to carry out financial transactions between people. The absence of a pre-mine and unique mining algorithm makes WAVI more decentralized than other currencies. This is a favorable factor for investing in this project. However, the WAVI is a young currency and coin mining is quite simple (Remember Bitcoin in 2010) so there is a low cost and low demand. But the situation will start to change with the change of rewards for the block. That's why the coin needs time.

At the request of community members ( https://github.com/wavicom/wavi_scripts/issues/1), a release of version WAVI Core v0.12.2.4 (reup) for Ubuntu 18.04 LTS was released. Release link: https://github.com/wavicom/wavi/releasesIn addition, the scripts for automatic installation of Masternode and Sentinel were adapted (including the download of the current version of the blockchain database). Scripts are on the link: https://github.com/wavicom/wavi_scripts_ubuntu18Good luck! Thank you for your work. I think there will be people who will trade WAVI. Personally, I really liked this coin, but now it is well mined. I think the situation will change over time. When the reward per block will decrease and will increase the complexity of the network

Now WAVI can be exchanged for any cryptocurrency on the decentralized exchange BarterDEX (Komodo Platform). Link to download page: https://komodoplatform.com/decentralized-exchange/Please note that WAVI trading on the decentralized BarterDEX platform is carried out directly from the local WAVI wallet. This requires you to keep your WAVI wallet running and fully synchronized. Also do not forget that the configuration file BarterDEX must specify the path to your wavi.conf. Detailed instructions here: https://discord.gg/Xr7pdzH

how to run under win7
Try to use the instruction in the FAQ, which is located in discord community. # faq chanel Can you explain in fews words (or with a link), why we have to install Sentinel ? what is the use ? What is it doing ?
Sentinel appeared in DASH in update 12.1. And since WAVI is a fork of DASH, the respective requirement of Sentinel migrated to our network. Now MN should function without Sentinel, but in the future, when the DASH V13 update is released, it may become necessary. In that case, if WAVI receives this update we will definitely have to use Sentinel. On the question why need Sentinel, you can find information on the DASH forums. Example: https://www.dash.org/forum/threads/what-is-sentinel-masternodes.13063/In brief: "The Sentinel update adds new features to the platform. It also optimizes existing internal protocols, management, voting and privacy characteristics."
