No not at all, Cryptocurrency will sometimes goes up and goes down that is his nature, its natural, nothing to be worried, look cryptocurrency as a long term and not as a present , crypto world has a lot of crashed histories in prices but it always recover so we don't have the reason to worry.

If the price is so high that is not the best time to buy Bitcoin because it is so expensive wait for a little while until the price is very affordable maybe it takes  short time or a long period of time but i will assure you that some newly ones who has bitcoin will do panic selling if the price is so low and you can buy their bitcoin.

Altcoins are not better than Bitcoin, infact they are good both for helping us to earn like for example you have many altcoins you can make it a bitcoin, so by using altcoins you can have the potential to have a bitcoin, and for bitcoin too altcoins was not the first in cryptocurrencies instead bitcoin is the first so they are the same for me there is nothing to compare.

I Myself would suggest you to create ether wallet an ethereum address because it is ont of the requirements for joining a bounty, they will ask you some informations about you when you are applying them and then they will distribute it to you through ether wallet but not all ICOs has the same process some will use other wallets so just simply joined their telegram and read more about details if you are joining a bounty.

For me panic selling is good for those who have a lot of information about the price because if the price is dropping so low and those who panic and sell it they can buy it from them, the price is volatile and the nature of crypto is sometimes the price goes down and sometimes the price goes up its all natural, so for those who panic they do not know how crypto works and they are just giving an opportunity to us to buy their coins.

For me its both nothing to compare, because bitcoin is decentralized and because of blockchain your transaction cannot be easily traced and also in the bank it is safe, banks have a lot of securities and also doing their best to protect their clients.
