I truly agree with you that one have to be a risk taker to excel in the crypto industry. Besides everything in life is all about taking risk and crypto happen to be one of them. Crypto is full of uncertainty.

Ethereum will surely rise again that am so sure of,not just ethereum but bitcoin and other altcoins too. The bull is here as we have seen recently the prices of altcoins rising day by day.

I for example prefer to hold multiple altcoins in my different wallets. Is better to spread my risks than hold on to just few or one altcoin. As long as the resources are available is better to acquire different good altcoins.

Is not all shitcoins as you call them are entirely useless. Some of them will still turn out well in the long run. Thid bear market really affected lots of coins even the good ones.
