I really wanted to order one SP10 unit, but i couldn't find enough information about the PSU. I don't want a fire hazard and i don't know how long will the PSU last before going dead.
Sorry, missed this one. The PSU we are using was designed for the telecom and communication market by Emerson, one of the most respectable PSU providers in the world. It meets all the required safety certifications and it's MTBF (mean time between failures) is over 50 years. In addition it supports over-current shutdown and over-heating shutdown, hence there is no fire or any other hazard risks. Screenshots from the data-sheet: http://take.ms/R08dnSyRenity please address the issue of SP30 heat dissipation. How do you plan to dissipate 2500W from that small case? Also i see that you under power it again. For SP10 you have a 1kW PSU and the unit needs 1.3kW and for SP30 you have 2 1200W PSUs, but the unit needs 2500W.
Also what is the inside temperature that SP10 reaches? (chips, components etc)
Answer from the team: When designing a cooling solution, the most important factor is the heat density, rather then the performance or the total amount of the dissipated heat. The second factor would be the max allowed ASIC’s Tj.
You are right, we are going to maintain the same air flow cooling mechanism for the SP30 as well. We going to use a custom heat sink that was designed and manufactured according to ASIC’s heat dense and Tj with 80mm Fans with a total of ~300 CFM.
The heat sink will be composed of Aluminum K=167 W/m*K 6061 T6 and copper base attached to the ASICs themselves. The entire design is backed up with a thermal analysis simulations that we are performing as part of the mechanical and electrical design process

You should have done that before accepting pre-orders. It looks like a desperate money grab when you take pre-orders before any community member has seen the hardware.
Please see the thread, several respected members of the community (Adam Back, Meni Rosenfeld) have visited us in person and seen the units, before providing their confirmations. That said, the first unit will arrive to dogie soon, who will provide a professional review for the community.

SyRenity, it all looks legit... like I said, if turns out to be a scam, someone will make movie about you guys :-)
However let me ask you few questions that yourself have asked in the past in other threads...
1) Are you guys willing to lower the declared value for VAT purposes?
2) Are you guys willing to lower the price for batch #2 if not for batch #3? May onwards ROI is horrible (-1 BTC) if BTC stayed around $600 and difficulty increases 15% per increment but we know it will be higher that with Bitmain and you guys releasing your machines in April onwards...
3) Are you guys pre-mining with the machines at the moment in your datacenter?
Fair enough : 1) Unfortunately not at the moment, though we are looking at the available options for the VAT markets. 2) We will need to get back to you on this one. 3) We do not do any self-mining with our clients units (beside standard limited burn-in tests) - this is one of our company principles.

If this does turnout to be a scam, it will be the best one ever and possibly they will make a movie about it...
It would have been better if they have shipped a machine to the respected member before they started accepting payments. First batch is already sold out and we are yet to see an independent review of the machine.
So I am going to sit back and watch this space, if they do turn out to be the real deal well nothing will change for me as I hoping this would mean that Bitmain will reduce their price even lower and I can order more S2 :-)
Stay tuned for Dogie review (his sample machine is en route), we are feverishly working to prepare and send the rest of the machines to the other reviewers in the ANN list.

Как осуществляется доставка в РФ?
DHL.

Question for those who paid with BTC,
do you get an email order confirmation (with order number) after the BTC is sent? What happens if you dont send BTC within the 15min limit or not sending BTC at all? Do you still receive an email?
I want to know if email is sent only once they confirm payment.
We using BitPay, and once the BTC confirmations are clear, you will get an order confirmation email.
