Why should the iGPU damage the motherboard?  
I am mining with some of my iGPU´s for years now and nothing will kill anything. I hate this false information, If you don't know, just shut up and don´t spread wrong information.

But it is true, the reward is not so good 

How should someone else know this?

We don´t know how much money you have, we don´t know how much room you have, we don´t know how much GPU´s you want and so on. It all depends on your personal situation.
What is your target?
Buy GPU´s when the price is ok for you. Nothing more can we say.

Try ETC+TON only first or only ETC.

can you add ETC+TON and ETC+ALPH for lolminer for example. ETC+TON for teamredminer also.

If i choose etchash as algo and dual mining ethereum+ton for example - i can select both pools correctly, but AM only use the ETC pool and do not add the TON pool to the config

Did you activate compute mode on your RX570? And your TON hashrate is to high, this cause the low ETC performance also.
I tested it on 2x RX470 - without tweaking i get 29.5mh ETC and around 600mh on TON.

Ok i read your compute mode is on. I use the ETH config A160.


AND NOW I SEE THE PROBLEM. DUAL MINING ETC+ZIL is only possible if you generate a new DAG every time on windows pc´s. ETC+ZIL DAG is now lightly over 4GB in windows for sure - linux have a little bit more time. Lolminer cannot caching the Zil DAG on ETC (reported to lolliedieb so often, but he don´t care about it)
You must delete the command:  --eth_dag_cache=0

All depends on your mining room. I have an 100m² room for my 200 GPU´s, so i don´t need any closed cases. We have only 2x 40cm exhaust fans for summer. They start if the room temperature go above 25C slowly and with not making any noise. This 2 fans are enough to bring down room temperature for about 5 - 10C. And in my opinion this is the most important think - bring the warm air out of the room.

We build our own open cases - i work as a design engineer in a sheet metal processing company.

Sure you can use it. I have an old intel socket 775 running with 4 RX6600xt´s without any problem.
You can also use PCIe splitters to expand the PCIe slots.

Ergo is not core intensive, it runs better with higher GPU core clock, but it use only a very small part of the GPU - this is why ERGO mining use less power than ETH. But the table building after every block is core intensive and this need nearly all resources of the GPU

TON mining ends in less than 3 months, you see it on ton.org/mining

I think RVN+ALPH is not worth, because RVN need more core, so you have less power for ALPH. ERGO+TON or ALPH also not really possible, because of the tables building after every block, this action needs much core power. You see same think if you mine ETH+TON, if the GPU building the DAG for ETH - TON mining is suspended for this time.

Yes i am agree, i would not buy 3090 for this high price. Buy some RTX A2000 12GB, RX 6600, RX 6800 or 3070.

4x RX 6600 cost less than an 3090, need less wattage and have the same hashrate and no GDDR6X heat problem.

Sorry mate but this not the calculation for your mining speed   Show us your poolside hashrate, this is important. Why no one in this thread show us his poolside hashrate? mysterious

And i tested this dump miner also - show 8% higher hashrate - poolhashrate was 5% lower than any other miner. And nothing more is important.

All is different for different coins.

Ethereum mining will not end soon. As many other predicted - it will end mabye in 2024 or so. Vitalik must test his PoS system on Doge coin first

@Swogerino sorry mate but you are wrong as always - you did not understand the point that miners must pay there bill - only people who pay nothing for the electrictiy can act like you. (it is impossible - electricity is never free - some dude must pay the bill)
FP91G explained it well - if you mining reward is 90$ per month but you pay 200$ for the electricity = you loose 110$. Invest this 200$ is better.

And electricity price here in germany is about 0,35$ per Kwh   This is why i don´t have any rig running in germany -> all in eastern europe. But the new goverment will kill our EEG taxes for electricity -> this will bring down the price to maybe 0,25$ per Kwh

I described it in another thread: I bought 5x S9 in may 2017 for over 2000$ per unit + Shipping + Taxes = cost me around 12000$ or so - this were over 8 BTC at this time - this 5x S9 never mined over 8 BTC in this time. Same story for ETH - 13000$ invested at a ETH price of 30 - 50$ = over 260 ETH - never mined with this gear.

And this guys who say: "mine and hold" yes sure but nobody knows what happens in the future - holding is a gamble every time!!!!!
