1  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why Not A Crypto Trading Tournament Like Having FIFA eWorld Cup on: August 12, 2023, 07:36:06 PM
There is, but mostly this tournament is conducted by different centralised exchanges or some other altcoin project. With your topic, I have just scanned and searched through my notes to see if I can get a particular exchange that I am aware of conducting this trading tournament, but it seems I have deleted it already, and I can't remember the name of the exchange, but what you must know is that there are tournaments like this that exist and reward winners.

Certainly, you're correct about such tournaments organized by exchanges. I conducted a brief search and came across this upcoming KCGI tournament, which appears to be sophisticated.

Trading competitions like this is usually a win for both parties. While traders are incentivized, exchanges see engagements go up significantly on their platforms. The pool for this event is particularly interesting, something of a shift from the regular
2  Economy / Trading Discussion / Are CEX Deposit-to-list campaigns recommendable for newbies? on: August 02, 2023, 08:18:59 PM
Seeing several CEX events that encourage investors to  participate in deposit to list events makes me wonder what's in it for the exchanges and how they manage to end up not listing the tokens in some instances. How would you explain what deposit to list entails to a novice? And would you encourage a novice to participate in these events?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How are your exchange tokens performing at the moment? on: August 02, 2023, 03:15:47 PM
this year has been quite turbulent for some altcoins, especially exchange tokens. I've invested in a few and performance-wise, only a handful of them have shown decent growth throughout the year. How about you? Do you have any exchange tokens in your holdings, and what are your thoughts on their market performance this year? Let's discuss our experiences and perspectives on how these tokens have been faring in this volatile market.

The price of the CEX token depends on how the ecosystem and the features they offer, so with the current state of CEX that we know, we can already assess how the price performance of the CEX tokens is.

Do I have CEX tokens? not at all for now, but I had $BNB 2 years ago and luckily at that time Binance was getting a lot of exposure from the crypto public which made the price skyrocket and created new ATHs regularly.

IMO, this year isn't the right year to hold CEX tokens because as we know there are lots of new cases made by the SEC, it's not impossible that the CEX whose tokens we own will be affected.

That's true though, the sec issues stopped the momentum on BNB. I sold. Large chunk of mine earlier. Nevertheless though, the recent tokeninsight reports rated some exchange tokens highly. Seen the report?
The SEC regulations make it an uncertain time to hold CEX tokens quite frankly but when you look at the utilities some of them offer, you’d be compelled to hold them and follow the SEC updates. Some of them have also performed remarkably, according to TokenInsights BGB has outperformed other CEX tokens this year, while OKB ranks second. Unfortunately BNB hasn’t been so impressive as Binance keeps facing stiff regulations.
4  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What Does Bitget's Lucky Wheel Hold in Store for You? on: July 13, 2023, 01:48:15 PM
Oh wow, sounds pretty cool, at a time when Australian crypto enthusiasts have faced lots of set back from regulations, this could be the good distraction they need to stay profitable. How can one join the event? I know a few Aussies who would definitely love this
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better to invest in copy trading or bot on: July 12, 2023, 09:48:08 PM
I can't say there is a definitive answer as to which is the better option. Both can be highly efficient if properly harnessed, only be sure to consider your risk tolerance, time and expertise. Copy trading may be better for beginners because bot trading is more accessible for experienced traders with programming skills; however most innovative bot trading now integrates AI which accommodates even novice traders. The introduction of AI-powered Grid Trading on Bitget for example allows both novice and experienced traders to make the most of bot trading.

6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Doubts about buying digital currency, any suggestions? on: July 11, 2023, 05:31:11 PM
How to buy Bitcoin? Since I see CEX like BN has quit, I'm really worried about trading in CEX.

Does anyone have suggestions? How to buy and where to buy, or is it the right time to trade?

I understand that you are hesitant to use CEX platforms due to recent issues with BN/SEC. However, CEXs still play a crucial role in this space and often have an advantage over DEXs. In my experience, CEXs have better security measures in place to protect user assets and data, which gives them an edge over DEXs. Moreover, if you prioritize speed along with security, CEXs execute transactions much faster. In my opinion, the concerns about CEXs can be addressed if they comply with regulatory bodies. Once they do so, everything should return to normal.

Yeah, Apart from all these stated, CEXs are very important. As we are seeing most Decentralised Bridge platforms getting compromised these days and millions of funds being stolen while users lose millions of dollars also. I personally use CEX to bridge asset from one network to another by depositing there from one network and withdrawing via another network.

Also, about the right time to buy BTC or not?
The market is speculative. But IMO, this is a very good time to buy . Apart from the market experiencing volatile upward movements, US stocks rose, The market is awaiting US inflation data on Wednesday with core inflation expected to grow by 5% year-on-year e.t.c, there have been good news surrounding Bitcoin lately like Companies managing Trillions filling for Bitcoin ETF. Seems the era of measuring the market cap of BTC in Billions is gonna end soon.

I can understand your concerns. You may consider Bitget, I've found their bank deposit service to be quick and reliable. Similar UI to Binance and user-friendly. You can take a look at it and see if it fits your needs.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best altcoin to look out for on: July 07, 2023, 12:25:22 AM
Pepe2.0 has been on my radar and is fast becoming a top memecoin. It has followed the huge success of Pepe and promises to help traders who missed Pepe make up for their miss. In the past 24hrs it's hit around $45m trade volume and a top gainer across various exchanges where it is listed including Bitget and Mexc

Sorry to look into this matter, usually I don't like reporting account as I am not a DT member. And for you to tag any account there should be a solid and strong evidence to prove it and know too well that if account A sends gas to account B this doesn't show enough evidence that is being operated by a single user.. otherwise to show more evidence is to provide that they are either using one single address or one single facebook profile or twitter profile maybe sometimes we usually caught them with using same telegram handle but sharing gas doesn't prove they are one person.
Thank you so much, I'm already fed up with all the accusations,  I hope they can now pop some wine and make merry

From Timelord2o67 and his evidence, it's strongly provable that those accounts are connected to you and I don't like the fact you still can't accept it was your account. Now lemme just clarify you, if the same address is being used by 2 to 3 separate account in participating in a single bounty then your were caught this is automatically called "account farming" and is subjected to immediate ban if possible, although this depends on the bounty managers rules per their campaign otherwise, if the manager noticed it automatically they would kicked you out without notice.
I have  admitted to using those accounts in the past when I wasn't quite experienced in bounty hunting, the connections were established with my most used bounty manager and i was cleared and dropped those accounts you can tell they are non functional for a long time. The connection with  Abigi is just my past haunting me, we are friends and I only sold my phone to him which resulted in a single connection with the proof of authentication, we shared BNB for gas on few occasions. What else do I need to say?

I am Nigerian, I hope Obong Okon has answered you, please do the needful and lift your negative Trust. I have been linked with Nwanma in the past but that has been cleared, and the account has been inactive for over one year
So in Nigeria, does Mbok mean "Please"?

The problem is, you are not honest about anything. You just keep making up things, which is not good. Having an alt accouareant is allowed in this forum but using the alt accounts to cheat bounties, giveaways, evading ban, manipulating trust etc is untrustworthy behaviour.
Obong Okon  already answered you, "mbok" in Efik (a tribe in Nigeria) means "Please" apparently I  could tell Obong Okon from his name is Nigerian and Efik, so I said mbok to relate better with him boom you escalated it because someone bears the name. So if I mention "king" for example in a post and someone bears the name "King Charles" here you wil readily tag me a cheat?

<...>
I have just seen a PM from you.

I have no intention of destroying your reputation, if you could please show us that you are not guilty of cheating in bounties.

Mbok means please
I really don't know what that word means, but is there a chance that you are Indonesian?

Secondly, why would you use a word from a local language in the English boards?

About the BNB we shared yea right we do a lot of bounties from BountyDetective so we connected and helped ourselves with a little BNB for gas
As I expected, nothing that we haven't heard before.

Problem with this excuse is that it has been used so many times by bounty abusers that even if what you are saying is true, no one will believe it. Tough luck for all those who are saying the truth, but that's how  it goes around here.

I have been in this space since 2018 and I haven't had any reason to talk about my Trust. I am not your guy
14  Economy / Reputation / Re: Multiple accounts (Two Accounts Linked) on: February 14, 2023, 12:21:41 PM
We might have had a connection but cheating was never the reason. Please help a brother sort this out ASAP Cheers Mbok
Why don't you explain then how exactly are you connected with that accounta? It will probably be nothing that we haven't heard before so my guess is that it was your sister!/brother/grandma/aunt account but let's see if you can surprise us with something more original.
Easy guys, I'm not your guy. About the similar bounties we do, I don't think we have such similarities apart from the bounties from Bounty Detective,  apparently BountyDetective is one of the best managers out there so it's clear to see why. About the BNB we shared yea right we do a lot of bounties from BountyDetective so we connected and helped ourselves with a little BNB for gas

My guess is he's an alt of Mbok Ajeng - would I be right?
I really hope for the sake of this user you don't implicate an innocent user. Mbok means please

Sure bounties still pay, Bounty Detective is one good manager out there that I'm aware of. Please how do I send you a message?

Two Accounts Linked
1. Incarts
2. Abigi

Abigi registered a bounty (Jungle Kingdom which was managed by CryptopreneurBrainboss) but posted the proof of authentication under Incarts.

I don't think it was a mistake because Incarts logged in but posted proof of authentication for Abigi. Here is the link: (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391775.msg59871436#msg59871436)

From my research I think these two accounts are operated by one person, these two users always register for the same bounty and they use the same pattern.
