I have family members and friends that go wont go anywhere near crypto because they think its unsafe.  I do see their points, once your crypto is gone you have zero chance to recover it.  Even with credit card fraud you can get your money refunded in the majority of cases.  Centralization does have some benefits

I'm suicidal and the sole reason is because of lack of money.  I can't afford to have somewhere to live and afford food.  I'm under constant stress because of this and want to kill myself.

Back in 2013 this forum sent thousands of dollars to a bunch of Russian asic builders.

They built good machines that worked well. But when they were supposed to ship them to us they said mother Russia won’t let us ship them. So here is a btc refund.

So they got to build about 10% of the btc network on our money and keep the gear.

It is not as if they said we will give you extra for the loan you gave us.

So why on earth would anyone want to send 3 or 4 thousand to a random name on the internet.

That can do the same thing that was done by Russian builders back in 2013.

Centralized scam EOS collected billions of dollars.  I wouldn't be surprised in the slightest if this guy could collect a few million easily.

I apologize then, I may have deleted your post by mistake instead of a different one.

Well it turns out that the most intelligent people are almost always socialists. Einstein, Hawking, etc.

So it goes against smart = rich because they see the bigger picture and want all of society to benefit.

They reached their goals. Being rich wasn't their goal. If it was, they would have achieved that target too. If you don't agree you are retarded.

ya ok , just saying the smartest people are never the richest because they do more fulfilling things.  The richest people have disgusting personality traits, Bill Gates, Bezos, Buffet.  Don't fall for the charitable propaganda either, its  goal is depopulation.

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John Mcafee lied to me on: January 22, 2019, 09:02:01 PM
He is smart, there is no doubt about that but I guess everyone knows that no one could predict whether a coin is going up or down. The coin that he advertised may be indeed good as he claimed but that is not necessarily supposed to show in the price, we have coins that are completely useless and yet on the top, and some of them have a unique use case and active development but simply didn't make it. And If you're referring about the tweets that he used to make in the past (not sure If still doing it) then I believe he's being paid for that.

Ya he is for sure a smart guy but the drug addiction and his personality makes him a loose cannon.   I mean I'm sure he gets people excited about crypto but he probably turns off a lot of people with his ridiculous predictions.
11  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 22, 2019, 08:54:49 PM
"If you are smarter, you achieve your target faster than the others. A lot faster. That makes the real difference. I am not that smart but I can identify a smart guy instantly. Most people don't have that talent. :p"

Sorry this just isn't true.  A lot of dumb people get rich from luck and I know a lot of very intelligent people that are unable to achieve great wealth.
12  Economy / Gambling discussion / What website/game has the best odds? on: January 22, 2019, 08:43:43 PM
Can someone direct me to the casino with the absolute best odds and what game it is.  Needs to be provably fair and not a scam site that doesn't let you withdraw. thanks.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / John Mcafee on: January 22, 2019, 08:41:56 PM
I would like to hear your thoughts on John Mcafee.  Do you respect him and do you believe he has done more harm or good for the crypto world?
14  Other / Politics & Society / Bald men discrimination on: December 03, 2018, 11:43:05 PM
It's not okay to mock fat women but somehow it's socially acceptable to make fun of bald men?

Bald men are discriminated against for jobs and are often joked about but it's not like they can control their genetics.  Fat people can actually lose the weight.

I have noticed a lot of men in their teens and 20s are balding these days and no one is standing up for them.

The bad guys in movies and media are almost always bald.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The fate of the Miners on: November 23, 2018, 02:41:39 AM
next eth asics will make mining eth at loss if you sell for less than $1200, this happened to bitcoin while back. The asics will be so powerful and they will make millions of them hehe, difficulty will be 100 times what is today. Keep selling your eth for $150 trolls hehe

today ETH is 130$ maybe going to 110-120

$120 now, i want to see where this nonsense will stop, one thing i will say, when this is over and bulls start pumping eth again to $xxxx levels then we will see many people saying why i did not buy eth when it was $120.

Buying like crazy right now! this is a GOLDEN opportunity.

"#bitcoin's game theory where it's always cheaper to mine honest blocks for rewards instead of 51% attack, only works with rational thinkers...As millions of dollars have been burnt fighting between two forks of a fork of bitcoin have shown. Crazy breaks the checks and balances."
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 23, 2018, 01:36:56 AM
One question guys.

Craig Wright and billionaire Calvin Ayre keep bragging about those 100+ patents they've got.
They say their Bitcoin SV is going to impose itself not only over the other Bitcoin Cash ABC, but even on Bitcoin (BTC) and that's due to those patents. They basically wanna play the same game huge companies have been successful with (see Mastercard, Apple).
Of course many of us (me included) hate this kind of behaviour, but I'd be interesting to hear your comments about the odds of them somehow making it because of those patents.

Craight Wright is a compulsive liar, he claimed to be satoshi for crying out loud.  Make a transaction from a genesis block or fuck off.

I actually just watched an old interview with Calvin about his gambling businesses and it was fairly interesting. But I despise the gambling industry and their predatory behavior. Calvin has very deep pockets and it wouldn't surprise me if they have some new technology/ideas that could really shake things up.

I don't like Roger that much but I like him more than "doctor" Craig Wright and Calvin.

It seems very difficult for another coin to dethrone bitcoin at this point but it's not impossible.

Life doesn't matter anyways.  In the end we will all be dust.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: October 16, 2018, 11:52:49 PM
That (Dig Bicks) is nonsense. How much would have cost 1 million BTC right after satoshi *supposedly* mined them? Maybe a few thousands? That would be the advantage he got even if he had premined them.... which he didn't btw.

Not even that. When New Liberty opened in October 2009, exchange rate was 0.00076 USD/1 BTC. Satoshi's stack was a few hundred at most.

Sometimes I want to kill myself.  Its so unfortunate that I never heard about bitcoin back then.  It's something I would of been all over because I always knew the central banking system is a complete scam.  Its just unlucky I never heard it or came across it.  I'm in deep financial trouble now and about to be homeless.
