1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late?? on: May 11, 2019, 11:56:39 AM
You might be a late for a bit but all hope is not lost! Right now should be the best time for you to get into BTC and go FOMO on other coins. Especially that IEO is a trend now, altcoins can also become a trend like this project that was being ran by one of the founders of Pokemon. Having a popular guy in your team, will get you ROI in my opinion. So, yes. Go for btc now and hodl on your shitcoins.

90% of altcoins are suffering now but we'll never know what this brings. We're at a stage where BTC dictates everything so if you every get lucky with your alt, congrats!
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: May 11, 2019, 11:43:30 AM
See the price of Bitcoin has now reached $ 6.2k, this is good for the future, I'm sure this will continue to rise, and I intend to invest in all of Bitcoin.

Its funny coz this post came from yesterday and btc was only $6.2k. As I speak, it's now nearing $7k. That's ridiculous! RE: OP, I would say go for Btc and Eth as the coins to go to if you wanna invest and go to startups that you genuinely believe on. Been a collector since I was a kid, from NBA cards, hot wheels, etc. And I'm currently keeping an eye on this cryptocollectible+AR project that will have their own hardware wallet to store the collections. So, if you see a startup that you believe on and you DYOR, you can consider doing an investment. After all, crypto is a risk!

Wow that was so fast! Thanks for the merit, Juggy777! I really appreciate it. For those other members who think they deserves a merit -- don't hesitate to contribute to our community. I know they (angels?) want to see some rich comments between all shills and trashes and would love to help.  Wink

Have you tried to use VPN? Or some sort of process that change your IP?

I don't think this is a viable solution though. Once the exchanges found out that you are using some form of trickery, chances are you will get your account ban and won't get your tokens and make money out of it.

I see. I am not aware on the current process as I am HODLing my tokens. Haha. Thanks, by the way!
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can you buy with bitcoin? on: May 09, 2019, 07:50:30 PM
In our country we have our local wallet where users can directly trade fiat-bitcoin/eth/xrp/bch or vice versa. We can use it to pay bills, services, purchase goods since other merchants accept online payment, and it even use it to directly make a deposit to a bank.

I hope as time goes by, the usage of crypto will not be limited as in we can use it to buy anything.

I forwarded this to my friend abroad and based on your description, he said that it's Coins.ph (?) I had a quick scan on the website and I see that this is quite good! Is this wide adopted in your country, BTW?  Smiley

If you are trying to gain weight, focus on a balanced diet, weight training, and cardio. These are the simplest but safest ways to gain weight.

Just looping in -- kindly focus on cardio first while having a balanced diet. It'll go a long way.  Wink
8  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to stay safe when browsing on hotspots or public wifi on: May 09, 2019, 05:41:54 PM
I really don't recommend people to connect in public wifi or hotspots that are not trusted. Since, I saw a video on youtube that every transaction people made on that while connected can be viewed by the person with authority. For example, somebody moved his money to his savings account. As much as possible don't connect to public wifi or hotspots. Scammers are everywhere. And what if you are connected to a person that is an IT or a computer engineer and hacks you.

Indeed. If that transaction can wait, then let it.It's better to be safe than to be compromised. If possible, don't connect to it at all.

11  Other / Off-topic / Re: Kids Take After Their Mum's Intelligence on: May 09, 2019, 02:43:42 PM
As an undergraduate, "Child Psychology" used to interest me (for whatsoever reasons. But now I know why as a father). Two of the few things I picked up from that enviable field of study are:

Kids take after their mothers' intelligent quota. No matter how brilliant you're as a man, your kids will pick that from their mother. Not yours. This is sad for me but it is scientifically proven. You can Google it up if in doubt. So, Mr. Bachelor look beyond the physiognomy of that spinster you want to marry and her current financial standing into her brain.

The second one is - Kids learn faster with their fathers than with their mothers. The problem here is that most fathers hardly spend that lecture time with their kids. Before you argue this with me, when was the last time you did the kids' assignments with them or read a story book with them as a father?

As a father, this is so true. I have noticed this in my kids. How many of you fathers have also noticed this?

I am soon to be daddy. I'd like to try this since I am mostly in our home, anyway.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: May 09, 2019, 01:52:58 PM
Cryptocurrency, in general, will survive and flourish in the next few decades. Mark my words: It'll be the foundation of a much more advance technology in the future. When people unite and misunderstanding becomes minimal, this will help the next generation of end users and ultimately, community. Cool

Hmm.. Propaganda? To increase awareness?  Roll Eyes
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: would you invest in IEO instead of ICO projects? on: May 08, 2019, 08:55:55 AM
I will say it depends on the project either ICO or IEO there is tendency that they can both fail though IEO reduce scam project but it still depends on the project before you can decide to invest

So true. Even though IEO's provide you more security with your investment, it's still good to review the project. Not all projects that will go through IEO are already considered successful nor legit. A good example of an investable project is Ecomi which has already sold out their private sales and has a huge potential following the footsteps of great collectibles project. But the most important part here is doing your own research, checking everything that you could before you pour in your money.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: The first Blockchain Cash Back service on: May 08, 2019, 01:22:55 AM
Why would anybody use cash back when transactions fees have to be paid .....are you suggesting bitcoin services should be free Huh

Honestly this sounds a phishing attempt!

I do feel that too.  Huh
17  Other / Off-topic / Re: Respect is one of the most important thing in optimized community on: May 08, 2019, 01:15:25 AM
How can we move on from here and make this a better place?

I don't think there's anything we can do right now. There are lots of ignorant and poorly-informed "investors" in the cryptocurrency space, thinking that certain alts are better than bitcoin just because they're faster; and sometimes even go to extreme lengths, calling bitcoin "outdated technology".

What can we do? Wait. Wait till most of these useless and scam alts to die out.

For me, even if the topic is not crypto, there are people who always forgot about that thing. Receiving respect from others is important because it helps us to feel safe and to express ourselves. Being respected by important people in our lives growing up teaches us how to be respectful toward others. Respect means that you accept somebody for who they are, even when they’re different from you or you don’t agree with them. Respect in your relationships builds feelings of trust, safety, and well-being. Respect doesn’t have to come naturally – it is something you learn.

PS: We can actively shove these scam alts by supporting what we really need (for me, BTC hahaha)
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who actually invests in ICO's? on: May 07, 2019, 08:40:47 AM
They're either guys who don't know what to do with their money, and the ones who diligently supports the project. I've been in several Telegram groups in the past and I can't count how many has gone away. I always look at the team if they have the group to beat or if they have some sort of a Charlie lee type of guy. Latest I saw was Ecomi, a crypto collectible with AR that already had their private sales sold out. As an investor, that also tells me that they'll continue and may have the chance to go 10x. Like in the crypto world, ICO and everything is a risk.

What's funny is that those Telegram projects even went to events and after a few months time, their telegram accounts are already inactive for a long time already. I would recommend everyone to go with STO's and IEO's already, they provide more security to the investors.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Graphene Bitshares - Finaly a way to invest in Graphene through Cryptos on: May 06, 2019, 07:51:10 PM
This thread has nothing to do with BitShares and appears to be a deliberate attempt to mislead people.

Graphene is a product brand name for the latest version of blockchain software from Cryptonomex.

It has as much to do with the carbon-based material as Apple Computer has to do with apple sauce.

I just saw this post and it's totally misleading. If you want to invest in Graphene through crypto, I remember that there is one project called TecraCoin. Just to contribute, I had my eye on projects in Science and Technology since I agree that when we help our fellow scientists and engineers by investing to their research, or giving them financial support -- it might go a long way. They do solve problems like hastening of legal processes from the research's inception to its commercialization, or helping these geniuses to create a better world one step at a time. I know it's a vague explanation but you can check more details here and do your own research.
20  Other / Off-topic / Re: Higher education, is it so important? on: May 06, 2019, 07:30:49 PM
In our country, higher education does not matter. If you got a higher education but you have no experience then you will not get a good position. And how can you get experience if no one will take? vicious circle

People are always like this -- not giving a chance to those who didn't achieve a certain goal. It's a vicious cycle indeed.
