I didn't say that it is my way of thinking - I just heard some opinions and answered why we didn't get much attention. Looks like FSM Church will not adopt coin, I posted a thread on their forums and instead of being published I was banned permanently by some infidel...His Holy Noodliness will be upset BUT he will touch them one day!

Hey, the beer fountains need to get cleaned by somebody, and those stripper factories won't maintain themselves.

We should REALLY play up that the first will be getting beaucoup commissions, like I did in my openex support ticket, and then follow through with some action to prime the pump on the one that does come in first. I kinda wish we had some unfilled buy orders on bitcointalk to proof that a tad :/

There's absolutely no volume in there, and this is a new exchange. Nothing can tell investors that it's not gonna disappear with their coins. So I don't consider it being even remotely significant for the current market price.
It's also not a real exchange, it just shows you who is selling/buying. No different than posting on here. I won't do trades on here, I trust no one. In fact, since it uses your bitcointalk username for login credentials, it's LITERALLY a frontend for bitcointalk haggling, NTTAWWT, YMMV, etc

@CatCoinForums, please look - if you promoted Kuromans views instead of promoting your forum, we wouldn't be in this situation. (and it would have been better for your forum in the end)
The catcoin channel debated this way before that. The proper voters are the catcoin users not the entire world. Anyways, I have been against the fork in the past. I am now for it. The developer has come to the catcoin chat and agreed to drop the retarget rate to 36. I will help with any issues that might come up. THERE WILL BE FORK. THERE MAY OR MAY NOT BE DANIEL DAY-LEWIS. PROBABLY NOT. So, we're rewarding failure. awesome

people, instead of writing a lot to say nothing, instead of saying we should do that or that, instead of saying that the dev mustn't take decision alone, instead of saying that's the coin of a community and that the community has to be unified, let's vote and see what's THE REAL CAT COMMUNITY WANTS. http://www.catcoinforum.com/showthread.php?tid=249Vote now for Yes or No. (then we'll fork). how about we see the proposed fork code?

u dont know but without hashrate there will be no confirmation in network, u cant spend your catcoins cause it will take forever to transfer, fork is needed cause ppl will start mining again meaby
Actually, that hasn't been determined AT ALL. Lowering the diff MAY get the pumpndump miners back, but nobody's committed to mining with or without the fork. Without hashrates in hand, we're just shooting blind here. As for the hashrate, trust me, we all are WELL aware that nobody's mining and that confirmations are few and far between. I'm just not sure that we need to get pushed into a fork to make pool miners that have already failed (ask yourself WHY a single miner was able to spike the diff, its because there's not enough mining at normal diffs to survive the attack) happy. At this point in life, this is looking an AWFUL lot like a pig in a poke.

What would Ron Paul do?
Complain about things for twenty years, make a futile gesture, then fade into obscurity?

Whatever is done, we need to wait until the original dev chimes in and reach a consensus. A "hostile takeover fork" will kill this coin.
You mean like the one attempted on day #1 by the pools? Count the git trees...

Begin? You been asleep for the last two weeks?

ubuntu binaries! I don't want to wait an hour then have to compile it too

you are arguably skipping out on a moral obligation to continue mining, and passing the costs and pains of that onto others. If you know estimation is going to happen, and you don't intend to continue mining during the next difficulty level because you expect to earn better profits elsewhere this argument isn't market manipulation as much as you're attempting emotional blackmail. If you want a moral currency, start MoralOrelCoin. I feel a miner puts in the hash rate, deprives themselves of the opportunity to mine other currencies with less hassle, commits real-world resources, and then has to put up with cryptsy's bullshit delays. Then they have to come to this thread and read why mining isn't welcome for catcoins. All of this resolves any 'moral obligation' a miner has to catcoin. as for 'passing the costs-and-pains', ahahahahaha. miners own the means of production. they are the primary producers of the very commodity you're trading and speculating in. It is the traders, speculators, pump-and-dumpers, that are on the "B" Ark. If you are not mining, you're arguably a parasite on the working class, the entrepreneur miner. don't punch the left tit while you suckle the right. If you're going to white-knight somebody, at least try to white-knight someone who's actually still around to white knight FOR...
