"Connecting people" is a Nokia slogan  Cheesy

I cannot get it, how can u keep your password in a text file, copy/paste it and hope you will never get hacked? I guess it's better to type it every time - that's safer anyway, well, unless there is a keylogger hiding on your harddrive...  Roll Eyes
583  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE - Oficial Discussion Thread! Distributing the coins! on: August 03, 2014, 09:15:04 AM
Btw, please, give us a link to the Member list on the 1st page like it was before. And it looks like "Learn more" buttons are not working there either (though I guess you know it, but just in case...).

# Daily Update
...
# The wallet change problem! Please verify! I'm 100% positive that it doesn't have anything related with the server! Cause its the same system!
But just to be sure, try logging in with your password, if it gives you a different account, than the one mentioned in the Member list, notify us!
...
In my case everything seems to be ok, the password I chose gives me the exact account I'd chosen before. And I got a stake! Thank you, devs! Grin
585  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - Logo Voting Has Begun[Updates & Discussion] on: August 01, 2014, 09:04:51 AM
Is the logo voting complete now? Seems like the community liked the fan logo most of all (however there is 50/50 votes for it and for the cube). And what about the Diamond? It's really cool  Cool
586  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - One Click Install Is Here[Updates & Discussion] on: July 24, 2014, 09:02:40 AM
Please express your opinions in the next 24 hours regarding the number of options and the logos which should be added to the vote.
I like #1 and #4, but #4 I love more Wink
587  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM Official Moderated Thread - One Click Install Is Here[Updates & Discussion] on: July 23, 2014, 10:36:34 PM
Can't boot a local NEM node. If I create a node name with just numbers it gives me "ERROR 306", else I always get "ERROR 601: Unknown error". I used a one-click-installation file from forum.nemcoin.com.

601 means the node has already been booted. So go ahead and put your nem address in your signature and request some nem Smiley

All right, I got it  Smiley
Send me some test NEM, guys Grin Thx

some pages ago you were talking about the Ethereum.

Just take a look:

http://www.coindesk.com/ethereum-launches-ether-coin-millions-already-sold/

 Shocked

If Im not wrong on my calculus its 3,5 k BTC

Someone believes strongly, like I believe in Nem, at this coin.

They've sold already 10,722,486 ETH. That's 10,722,486/2000 = 5361,243 BTC = 3,332,281$ = 3,3M$ and they got it just in 24h Shocked

Hi Guys! Just for info - ethereum begins ether sale(https://www.ethereum.org/)  ...it's really not bad  Shocked just 2000 ethers for 1 btc Cheesy
Cheers

why do you think is a good price?

It depends. I think it is very good for them and for investors as well if they can raise a lot fund. In my view, Ethereum has the Bitcoin challenger status while NEM has NXT challenger status. 2015 would be very interesting as a lot of new projects going to fruition. BUT everyone should hope that Bitcoin stays strong, get bigger or at least stay at this level and not deflate  to sub 300 level.
of course matter of good price was with sarcasm Grin @ARGpentem- what kind of projects( a lot of) are going to fruition on 2015 except of ethereum?

Some coming at the end of the year too like NEM, Bitshare, Crypti, Maidsafe etc. These are the big ones, there are a lot of other smaller ones and that I count non -clone projects only.

Add Nodes, Exo too.
I would add eMunie into this list as well. The very interesting thing about it is its economic model and price stabilizing mechanism.
591  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [AИN] NODE aka NXTLite - Oficial Discussion Thread! Launching Soon! Stay Tuned! on: June 15, 2014, 04:48:22 PM
a typical NEMster would be interested in both coins

success is something that can be archived by multiple coins

Agree. You can never tell which coin will take the lead. NEM has a great community. Same thing is about Node, though there is not so many people supporting it (needs more advertisement, perhaps,.. or bounties to bring new people into community).

May be you are wrong, many ppl know Node now.

As I remember the main goal before was to reach the number of 5,000 stakeholders (or something, can't find the evidence right now), but as you can see we got only ~1300. Comparing to NEM that's 1/2 of their community. But what the hell... not bad anyway, because 1300 is not 70 like it was in NXT Wink

We may do a one day mock IPO with testnet coins, so everyone can see how it works.

That would be nice.

So the IPO will start somewhere within the month (until April I guess)
595  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEM] NEM -New Economy Movement - No Envy Movement - Updates+Discussion thread on: February 25, 2014, 08:59:55 PM
The Y is in column C. It would be quite suspicous if noone had a Y don't you think ? Smiley
ok.. there lots of Y in column C. but for which nicknames is it set?? for the left ones or for the right ones?.. Smiley or for both  Huh there is only 1 column for Y... and there are 2 columns for stakeholder nicknames... and there is no Y in line 2, my line

They are set for the nicknames to the right. The nicknames on the left are only an ordered list of all stakeholders.

Reading the names of the colums helps figuring this stuff out ;-)

I think we should make a simple Excel list with all the stakeholders filtered out the original list and put it in an alphabetic order.

A little effort to make to spare much time, complaints and newbie questions now.

I finally understood what was the problem... I watched the list here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AlidWok7hW0DdDZ0amZpM00wQXhrR2lJM3pCOGRhNFE#gid=1
Check my number. It's 1498 in the very beginning (line 2). There is no "Y".

It turned out to be the old list (found in the 1st and 2nd registration threads).

I'm sorry I have to post all this, but I really want to join the NEM movement Cheesy it's too unfair that i've sent some nxt in the very beginning of the 2nd registration thread and still not become a stakeholder Sad...

I think you should put the price up a 2 NEM donation  Grin
now that's ridiculous Cheesy.. but well, what the hell? I'm ready even for that Grin

YOU ARE THERE: No. 1498 of T2

Yes I know it, but I didn't get the Y condition (Y means everything is "okie"). And without this condition I'm not a stakeholder, even if my name appears in the list...

You have a Y.

but there is no "Y" there... Is this condition set for both left and right nicknames in columns B and F?

Hi there! Just want to check my status as a stakeholder of NEM. I noticed only today that I'm not qualified and was quite shocked Shocked Can you check it out plz? I'm №1498 on the 2nd page and it seems like I didn't satisfy the conditions: had to send 350NXT beeing on the 3rd page of the 2nd registration thread instead of 300NXT... yeah, my mistake, but I'll tell you why I did so:

1) First I left a message on the page 91 of the 1st registration thread and I was one of the last guys there, some of which were also sending 300NXT. Here it is:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=422129.msg4843010#msg4843010

2) 300NXT were sent because in the 1st thread in the very beginning (page 1) you can find this:
Quote
How to join after page 80. Two ways

1. Pay a fee to join in

Send 300 NXT to the address      14343293611098709683
Send 0.03 BTC to the address    1Lk5Paws9T1YpoSeLeZT7ZeSQKW7UNq4TJ
So I did exactly the same thing. Sent 300, not 350..

3) Later on I got a reply from the utopianfuture himself on the same page:
Quote from: utopianfuture
Hi we moved to a new thread. Check the above post. Make a post in a new thread with your transaction I'd. Thanks.
My mistake I just copied my message to the 2nd registation thread and left the transaction as it is. You can find it here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=440185.msg4846101#msg4846101

So is there any chance now to get an approved condition? I can send some more NXT if needed  Huh
600  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [SKY] Skycoin Launch Announcement on: February 24, 2014, 09:21:00 PM
There are two options.

1. We set a date and the IPO occurs on that date, whether coin is ready or not.
2. We wait until coin is ready (keeps getting pushed back) and announce IPO after its ready.

The coin launch and IPO will definitely occur before Obelisk is implemented, which may take through July.

Does Febuary 24th, noon GMT time for IPO sound good? Is there a better day or time, or should the IPO wait?

So you have chosen the 2nd variant, right?  Smiley ..when the coin's ready
