1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: MTgox Prices Update - PLUS mtgox POLL on: February 16, 2014, 05:08:09 PM
GOX is reaping the rewards of BAD MANAGEMENT.

They have been robbing Peter to pay Paul ever since several of their accounts were seized
by King Obamas cronies.

Now the dance is over - Perhaps they will get a bail out------LOL
2  Economy / Service Discussion / MtGox Not Wiring on: June 07, 2013, 06:46:43 PM
Been waiting 5 days for MTGox to wire funds.

Anyone else experiencing this?

3  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Down .... DDOS posible cause on: May 15, 2013, 07:49:58 PM
You can get in, just takes a while and some patience

I feel better now that I've transferred my coins out.

Local and cold, that's the way we do it from now on.

4  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinlab RATS Gox out to the feds on: May 15, 2013, 07:43:50 PM
Not true.  The DHS started the investigation last year - long before the merger was discussed.

Yes, Yes, I am sure glad that DHS is keeping us safe from the evil terrorists.......LOL they are so considerate........

Typically, Once a govt agency seizes funds, those funds are never recovered.

Keep on waiting and watch the expected shipping date be extended by a month at
a time to infinity.

I can think of some other acronyms for "BFL"
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people never plan to repatriate BTC to FIAT on: April 16, 2013, 07:30:44 PM
If the market centers were more robust it would be nice, having to overcome lag from Japan
and MtGox is simply ridiculous.

I too am a true believer; However, it's not fun watching the 75% haircut.

I've been holding since before the 1st bubble when we went to $3.

Everyone just needs to remember that things in BTC land happen at a very
accelerated pace - AND, that our coins are divisible to 12 decimal places.....
wink wink, nudge nudge.

The spewing heads on CNBC are comparing BTC to Beanie Babies.

12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Differences in Network Hashrate on: January 16, 2012, 09:10:07 PM
Thank you for that calculation!

However, I'm more interested in why they are reporting different #'s

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Warning! Please don't create another bubble! on: January 05, 2012, 11:18:50 PM
Share your feelings with the group.

On second thought, don't.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Increases in bitcoin prices are bad for merchants on: January 04, 2012, 08:30:57 PM
I get the feeling that people spend less bitcoins when they see the price going up. This is an unfortunate side effect where all bitcoin holders become speculators and are just waiting for the market to tops off and buy things (or convert back to cash).

So the more it is going up in value, the less actual economic activity it is used in.

I am looking forward to it leveling back off again. The ups and downs are bad for bitcoin.

This makes no sense.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt Gox Volume Going backwards? on: October 20, 2011, 02:17:23 AM
I had left the bitcoinwatch screen unrefreshed and at the same time have the ClarkMoody Realtime book open:

When I saw the realtime order book go backwards, I then went back to the bitcoinwatch page and it validated the prior value......

So, you're right, 2 different time periods, the 1st capture was the bitcoin watch quote, and the second set is the realtime book, which was the older of the 2.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Mt Gox Volume Going backwards? on: October 20, 2011, 02:10:33 AM
Has anyone else noticed this?

Market   Last   Volume (24h)   Bid   Ask   High   Low
mtgoxUSD   2.3400   101,696.62   2.34   2.34   2.54   2.04

After a few minutes:

High   Low       Volume      Buy     Sell   Last
2.53600   2.04010   101560   2.34150   2.34200   2.34200

I've noticed this in the past, but always thought I may be tired or something......tonight I know it's accurate.............
