GOX is reaping the rewards of BAD MANAGEMENT.
They have been robbing Peter to pay Paul ever since several of their accounts were seized
by King Obamas cronies.
Now the dance is over - Perhaps they will get a bail out------LOL

Not true. The DHS started the investigation last year - long before the merger was discussed.

Typically, Once a govt agency seizes funds, those funds are never recovered.

Keep on waiting and watch the expected shipping date be extended by a month at
a time to infinity.
I can think of some other acronyms for "BFL"

If the market centers were more robust it would be nice, having to overcome lag from Japan
and MtGox is simply ridiculous.

I too am a true believer; However, it's not fun watching the 75% haircut.
I've been holding since before the 1st bubble when we went to $3.
Everyone just needs to remember that things in BTC land happen at a very
accelerated pace - AND, that our coins are divisible to 12 decimal places.....
wink wink, nudge nudge.

I get the feeling that people spend less bitcoins when they see the price going up. This is an unfortunate side effect where all bitcoin holders become speculators and are just waiting for the market to tops off and buy things (or convert back to cash).
So the more it is going up in value, the less actual economic activity it is used in.
I am looking forward to it leveling back off again. The ups and downs are bad for bitcoin.

I had left the bitcoinwatch screen unrefreshed and at the same time have the ClarkMoody Realtime book open: http://bitcoin.clarkmoody.com/When I saw the realtime order book go backwards, I then went back to the bitcoinwatch page and it validated the prior value...... So, you're right, 2 different time periods, the 1st capture was the bitcoin watch quote, and the second set is the realtime book, which was the older of the 2. DKN |
