i have personal experience and spent thousands on 7950's and 7970's from them and they ALL run hotter than my visionteks and saphires. at least 10C, sometimes 15C.

I tried this spreading PSU's like this, except i had another motherboard to turn the psu on and off instead of soldering wires.

Short story short, wires shorted out, fire shot from the cards... luckily no damage to the cards, only melted wires all over the place.

Although i was using adapters, molex to 8-pin, so that might have been the cause to.

i cant say for sure if PTS is more profitable or not, i havent really looked into that coin.

But the reason i say doge, is because the value is likley to increse over time.

and yea that kh/s isnt too bad, try tweaking the clocks and thread-concurrency, gpu-threads and the rest, see if you can squeeze out more.

and yea the card being at 100% is tottaly normal when mining

That card isnt the best, but it can be profitable.

I would check out http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency and look at the coins they have, and pick one.

try 1375 mem and 925 for the core, with a thread concurrency of 40960, intensity 19/20. thats what i have for my 7950, getting 600+ max is about 620

title says it all, the difficulty went so high, its no longer more profitable to mine doge coins! insane
