1  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 300 computer rig on: January 27, 2014, 02:41:59 AM
I have a friend who works for the school district tech department and he said his boss would let us. So we have an okay go for this. I was just wondering if mining 300 computer at a time would be something that could possibly help me get some coins

Nice to know my tax dollars could be used for such a stupid endeavor. Please tell us how your "friend" got a "tech" job with a school district when he clearly knows nothing of either.....

Hi guys,

Quick question:

How comes the 24hr profitability only shows i'll be making 40k doges with my 7400 - 7800 kh/s rig whilst the est. coins/day says approx. 60k?
That's a 33% difference Huh

Thanks in advance!

where are you getting the 24hr profitability info from?

you can look at your profit snapshot, look directly above the home button on the menu
3  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: $99 Sale! YellowJacket 2.2GH USB Miner (Nanofury) In Stock and Ready to Ship! on: January 22, 2014, 11:46:38 PM
I received my 3 today.  2 worked perfectly - almost plug and play.  Overclocked to 53 with negligible rejects and HW errors around 0.35%.  The 3rd unit registers as a USB device but can't be found by bfgminer.  My hub hasn't arrived yet so these are plugged directly into the computer but I've tried every usb port and no dice.

I am very new to this so I wouldn't be at all surprised to find out I'd missed something simple.  Any thoughts?

Got a response via email and will do more troubleshooting tonight.

Curious to find out what you come up with. Mine showed up and is hashing @ 1.97-2.06 at the stock clock but is so hot you can smell it. With active cooling I can get a fairly stable 2.3 with the clock @ 52 anything more than that it a mess. This is tested directly on a few different MOBOs. Might see if I can carve this heatsink off to see what really is going on under it. ( really does look like a 5 year old mashed a s'more together)

Can anyone confirm that on the website's the kh's are lower then on cgminer itself?

I get about 1700-1800 khs on the website while my gpu's are steady at 3x750 kh's.

Appriciate the help

Yes
I hhave 450khz on cgminer, multiport shows max 411.

But is the payout based on cgminers hash rate or the websites?

I prefer multipool over middle coin,  but I'm not sure it detects all of my gpu power

payout is "always" based on cgminers WU

Hello,

I have kinda been looking into trying this, but I was wondering.... I see that you can set reserves for held BTC and USD what I would like to know is if that can be set as a percentage? IE can I do 30% instead of $500?

10  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoinstore.com--issue resolved. on: January 09, 2014, 03:41:52 AM
This issue was resolved finally, however i am very displeased by how i was treated by Roger, the owner or manager of bitcoinstore, who asked me to take my business somewhere else in the future, because i was cussing. I wouldn't have been cussing if my issue would have been handled and an effort to keep me in the loop were made. i was basically in the dark until i talked to Zlatko, the support/Operations Manager, who filled me in and caught me up to speed. I have been a loyal and a repeat customer. Zlatko helped me, but it took alot of badgering MemoryDealers in pm for me to get the email address. why would you act like this. I emailed the support@bitcoinstore address repeatedly and got no response. i even tried emailing old support tickets. In the end i wouldn't have got it figured out if i wouldn't have pm'd roger and bugged him about it, but why should it have ever escalated to that point? it should have been resolved via support instead of the forums. very unprofessional.

Glad to hear that someone can get their issues taken care of, Ive been having issues with them since Dec 1 2013. As far as I can tell, the ol' bait-and-switch con is still a thing... No responses to support tickets in the last 19 days... same phantom "emails" yadda yadda
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Please help me:How can cgminer run smoothly in a virtual machine? on: January 08, 2014, 09:10:31 PM
I don't think you will ever get a VMbox to see your cards the way you want to, but you can run wallets in a VM box and run miners on a host.
