Any news?The hashrate seems really low  Coin is dead, No community, No dev support, No exchange... There is this israeli exchange, Coinshake with nexus on it... I wrote two PMs to WIW about listing NXC on popular international exchanges like cryptsy or coinedup but didn't get any answer.Lets be honest, no one knows coinshake outside of Israel and even the Israelis don't use it to trade NXC.And why the hell would you make a "Local coin" for your people?It's like bringing it to death row.The facebook group has 330 members for like two week... |

Installing new card drivers now. Tense moment as I see whether my PSU can handle two high powered cards.  I'm trying to get a new gpu aswell to help with the hash rate, don't know if I should get a 7950, a 280x or a 290, kind of tight on money right now and although it's an investiment with return so I don't know how should I handle this .. Well, I have it working alongside my GTX 670 now. The R9 280x provides nice bang for buck, but it runs pretty hot. It's fine though, as they can take the heat, but when it gets to max temp I drop from 700mhash/sec to 635mhash/sec, so realistically to get max performance I'll need to watercool it. It's a bit annoying that I bought the best performing/cheapest R9 280x that I could find, because I'll have to buy a Universal GPU waterblock to cool it now, as it's a non-reference board. Oh well. It'll still be way better than the stock air cooler. A decent 240 radiator should keep it running at 700mhash.  Nullu have you tried a volt modded bios? I dropped the core voltage on both of my 280x from 1.2v to 1.1v. Temps went from 80c down to 70c. it is a surprisingly easy procedure. Do I have to flash my bios? I'm reluctant to do anything that could cause me to brick my motherboard. Someone suggested I try MSI Afterburner to undervolt. Do that, i use afterburner to undervolt too. |

I think it will go higher once the difficulty adjusts.The early adopters have waaay too much NXC and this inflates the price. |

CoinShake is now supporting NXC. They are a Hebrew only site with plans to translate to English within a week or so. Unfortunately I am too busy to continue running the manual exchange. So far more than 100 people who didn't mine coins (since they're not technical people), installed the wallet and got each 5+ free coins on our Facebook community.
The network hashrate is also growing, difficulty didn't stop jumping x4 which is the max.
Any word from cryptsy? |

For those who were lazy to calculate this. (It's based on the CoinWarz table, shortly before I wrote this post.)  What do you think will happen when panic sellers are out of CAT coins and there won't be any resupply from the quays-nonexistent miners? The price will skyrocket and Orbán will be reelected. Orbán will be Viktor this coin is bad for your heart its like a yoyo  how many Hungarians are reading this thread? |

My major question is, aren't we going to keep doing this over and over again if the code isn't fixed? In 2 months from now at this pace, when the difficulty drops, the coin will be worth whatever, but it will still be valuable at that difficulty, the pump and dumpers will come back, drive it back up to 2.5ghz, difficulty will sky rocket, and we will be back in the same place. I have 5mh/s but it is so hard to point it at cat....at this pace I could mine lot, sell it all for cat, and get 5x as much cat as I would if I just mine it straight up. I am loyal and dedicated, but there is no incentive to keep mining it really when people are going to blow it up again. I mean it just sucks with this horrible retarget, people will keep doing this over and over again if the coin is worth anything, and it crushes the small guys that are dedicated and didn't get thousands of coins on release (stupid family christmas party). I have invested a few btc and mined it as soon as I heard of it, but I don't know about the future and this crazy difficulty.
