481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had 1000$ to invest in Altcoins long term, which one would you choose? on: August 23, 2017, 09:53:20 AM
Considering Litecoin, NEO, Ethereum and BCH.

Please share your views.

I'm still not sure about BCH, so from that list I would definitely go for ethereum. Litecoin is very stable, I never see movement in their price, but then again, BTC was the same before it start rising like crazy. I guess we will never know if some very rich people will start adopting Litecoin, like it was done with BTC.
482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: August 11, 2017, 07:43:49 PM
I going for Sporting vs Setubal. I think they will want to enter strong on this game, so I expect them to be winning at first half. I also think there will be a few goals on this game, like in Porto and Benfica, so I will go for over 2.5 as well.

Sporting vs Setubal
Winner First half, Sporting @1.6
Over 2.5 @1.67
483  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are you looking for a new book this football season? on: August 02, 2017, 02:50:23 PM
Cloudbet is a scam? They are here for so long, and users seem to liked them. I saw the warning now, that withdrawals are disabled and all.
I guess it's getting harder to trust gambling sites these days.
484  Economy / Gambling / Re: CASINO RANKINGS ---> COMPLETELY USER GENERATED on: August 02, 2017, 02:44:13 PM
Some of the casinos I tried are now closed, so for now I will vote for Fortunejack.com
I liked the live roulette, and had no problems with them, so I will give them 3.5. I think I need more bonuses or some new games, so I can give them more.

486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gift For Kid on: July 30, 2017, 10:07:08 AM
I also think that is a quite a strange toy for a kid. I don't even see how they can enjoy playing it, because there is no objective or strategy to play those games. They will probably be bored if they play it, since they are not betting anything, and all they see is random numbers. I don't see any problem or a kid to play poker though. If they don't play it with real money, is just another card game, and quite interesting.
487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: XII FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: July 27, 2017, 09:41:11 AM
Great news! I'm really excited to participate in this competition again in September. If things haven't changed since last updates I think that we moved on from choices, and that we will go for option 1, but as the OP had said, even in option 1 we can get a sponsor, that should add money to the pot. That also happens in poker tournaments (they have tournaments with added money besides the money from the buy ins). Hope those are the good news, but let's wait and see.
488  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: July 15, 2017, 09:39:30 AM
I don't really know what to do now. The price is dropping fast and we are still quite far from the 1st August. I think the price will continue to fall, since a lot of people are "panicking" right now and selling all their bitcoins, and probably going to buy again, if things go well after the split.
489  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinbet24 suspicious scam on: July 15, 2017, 09:17:08 AM
I don't use coinbet24, don't that have a support thread in this forum? If they do, maybe it could help trying to post on their thread or sending them a pm, explaining what is happening. Maybe it's just a technical issue, I don't know.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: XII FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: June 21, 2017, 09:56:25 AM
I go for option 1 as well. To be honest I would like to see that option come to live even if we had a sponsor because it looks cool!
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Been to Macau? on: June 20, 2017, 09:28:28 PM
It's like a gambler's paradise there. About 33 casinos squeezed into a small island.

Never been there, but I don't think it can be better than Vegas. I only know it from movies though, so my info might be wrong of course.
One thing is sure, it's way better than my country, because we don't have many casinos here, and the ones we have are not very special.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Casinos Are There in Your Country? on: June 20, 2017, 09:25:25 PM
How many casinos are there in your country, state or city? Any nearby ones that you frequent?

My country is very small. I don't think we have more than 10 casinos around the country. I have one close to my house and I go there from time to time. Normally with friends when we want to gamble a little before a party or something like that.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: June 06, 2017, 12:51:48 PM
I always feel satisfied when winning in gambling, by having that feeling I feel a bit of pride from myself. A little sad but I think almost all gamblers have the same feelings like me, then how about you? Do you want to share your story for us discussing in here.

Why do you feel a little sad? I think you should probably only feel that, if you did something wrong, like maybe you won after chasing losses and you realized that this time you got lucky, but on a next time you could probably just end up losing more, and that's why you feel sad or guilty after you won.

For me, I normally just feel happy, like every time I get lucky. It doesn't necessary has to be in gambling. When I get lucky I feel happy. I think that is one of the many reasons why gambling is addictive. You know you will feel happy if you win.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Resetting seeds question on: June 05, 2017, 09:54:47 AM
So I have been gambling on prime dice for a while and I was wondering what this whole resetting seeds business is. Why do people reset seeds? Is it to increase odds of winning? If so, then how often should I do it?

I tried to find out information regarding seeds and came up with Nada. :/

I never did that, but to be honest I don't think it works that way. Gambling is suppose to be random, so if it doesn't make sense that you can reset seeds in order to get better chances, because that would not inspire trust. I know the house edge and I expect everything else to be random. It's just me trying my luck and having fun. There should not be any type of manipulation, so I don't think you can do that, and I hope no one can.
495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: June 05, 2017, 09:50:00 AM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

Never did that, and I think I will never will. If I ever do it, the it means I have big problems. Gambling can't be seen as a way to try to pay debts, as there are big chances that your debt will only increase, since there are big chances that you lose your money. I only gamble for fun, and I enjoy having profit, but I only gamble what I can afford to lose. It's like going to movies, I pay for that experience and I don't expect to get my money back.
496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: June 03, 2017, 09:05:30 AM
Amazing game today, and I think Juventus will win it. They were just to consistent in all fronts, Italian league and group phase.
There defence is just to good as well, in comparison with Real Madrid defense. I don't expect to many goals on this one, so maybe an under 2.5 is a decent bet as well.

Juventus - Real Madrid
Jucentus @2.75
Under 2.5 @1.5
497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Directbet.eu - what seems to be the reason for the site closure? on: June 03, 2017, 08:53:59 AM
well they said in one pot that directbet.eu was not for sale, so that means they will probably come back.
I know they had some problems in some games, because it happened while I was participating in their tipster championship, so maybe they decided to stop for a while, fix things, create some new features that could interfere with their actual service, and then just come back even better than they already were. Don't know if dealing with BTC price is hard for sportsbookers as well, but since the others are still in business I don't think the price had anything to do with it.
498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take part in casinos' tournaments? on: June 03, 2017, 08:40:33 AM
I don't like casino tournaments, since they based on luck. If I go for a casino promotion I just prefer a cashback offer.
I do like tournaments though, but only those that offer me a real chance of winning, so I only participate on poker and sports betting tournaments.
499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking some trusted bitcoin sports betting site. on: June 02, 2017, 10:12:22 PM
Hello everyone, suggest some mostly trusted bitcoin sports betting site.

There are some rankings threads in the forum, I would recommend this one, and I've already made my vote there.
There are more two threads at least, but I prefer this one because it's user generated like you can see in the title, and I think it's more fair this way. The only problem is that it's new, and still doesn't have to much votes.

Edit: just saw the previous post. Yes those are the other two I was talking about. I prefer the second and the third one.
500  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: XII FREE Tipster Competition - sponsored by DirectBet (Discussion Thread) on: June 02, 2017, 10:07:44 PM
Is there a deadline to stop looking for sponsors and start the competition solo, funded by users with a buy in?
Because if we need to go solo, then I'm sure the structure would probably have to change etc, and a lot of things would have to be discussed.
I really hope we get a new sponsor though, and given the number of participants this competition usually had, I really thought it would be "easy".
