Sent some BTC and XCR a couple of times now, worked perfectly!! really nice so far, dev's are active and responsive and the ICO runs smooth.

I have to say I'm pretty suprised how successful this ICO is.
This is some nice money, that you can use to build a community and make real progress.
Of course I've been sitting on a few million Crypti since 2014 thinking the same thing. That ICO money went somewhere, presumably mainly for developer salaries.
All things considered I'm happy that you decided to fork, crypti devs "mission accomplished" attitude pissed me off.
I'm interested how you are planning to spend the funds. I'm sure planning this out will take time, so not asking for specifics, but really don't want to see history repeat itself and see Lisk die after bulk of the ICO money spend on salaries. Pay yourself for the job, and pay well, but your real reward should come if and when Lisk becomes successful.
Vega your good thoughts deserves a reference. I as well thought the foundation would be a good idea but it proved to be not that effective leading to the birth of this coin. well planned budget and burn rate are a must.Back than with Crypti i suggested setting up a lock periods on the funds with vesting mechanism. SyRenity's answer was that there is no need for that due to the foundation, which we all agree was underperforming... I believe we should address this as well at this point. |

Yea people want in as cheap as possible, prob also a last day run for people who dont wanna miss out but make more then the Bonus by trading for a extra month. I think its probably better of this way....as much the ICO will raise the more money for development the LISK price will be higher making it harder to gain profit for us the initial investors. thats not true at all , more btc means more money for development automaticly increase price, also more spreading of the coin. Eth is a good example they raised 18 million and still the ICO members made what x30 on there ico price. Only the Future can see were it go but the more ICO funds the more we will see in the future, you need devs that can make it there job to work for Lisk. But the biggest gain will be when people start develop for this coin, Like Dapps and new things. Agree but....Qora, Next, and plenty other ICO's were small ones that made their Hype efforts just when the ICO ended making their holders X100 and X1000 respectively just after the lunch.... money for development is very important also of course...but one might fantasize ... |

I understand u guys want to leave things straight with the crypti guys, but raising funds in currencies you have no faith in is just unreasonable...please explain why you insist on doing so
To allow the original Crypti investors a pivot / transfer path into a new coin (Lisk) that uses the code base they paid to develop. In my opinion, this option shows Max and Olivier have true integrity. They didn't have to do this in a perfectly legit open source fork. Yes i guess this is a nice gesture that shows some character but to be honest, this is business and every XMR [sic - you mean XCR] accepted is less funds for future development......keep in mind that after reading all the previous posts here the lack of funds is probably what caused this fork in first place... I totally disagree with this statement. Are the total Bitcoin and Shapeshift donations to Lisk going to be different if there are 0 Crypti XCR donated than if there are 50M or 100M Crypti XCR donated? I don't think so. Why do you think so? What accepting XCR / Crypti DOES do is reduce the absolute number of Lisk that are handed out to Bitcoin and Shapeshift donors at the end of the ICO. But as I have said over and over here, as more people and more money of any type gets poured in Lisk, the price of Lisk rises to offset any dilution of holdings. A donation made in any currency at any time retains its original value at all times during the ICO. You do not lose money in the Lisk ICO when more people show up with more money after you! More money getting poured in makes Lisk more valuable no matter what currency it is! More people showing up make for a bigger and ultimately more successful Lisk community! I have to say i don't agree with you dude, the XMR status here is different than any other coin as it has a fixed rate and destined to be replaced by Lisk, the XMR coins raised the less money for the dev's funding while by calculating the ICO pro-rata shares you will not see this. off course every coin is welcome you don't need to explain why, but we shall all prefer BTC than XMR.... Also, none of you guys see the crucial need for reverse vesting of the funds? we should establish some KPI's where the money will be released, otherwise we have no guarantee for the dev's continuity work..... |

was there a talk about reverse vesting or a cliff mechanism for the ICO funds? whats to keep these guys from collecting the funds and move on?
I suggested this back on Crypti's ICO and it was accepted, cant see a reason why not do the same here.
