Large quantity of undistributed coins after launch will affect the project, like what happened to raiblocks.
That's the plan. We are looking for other ways to distribute sems to the community. Other methods will be determined by the result of the btc drop. Good. Thanks. To motivate btc community participate in Semux, maybe increasing the reward would be better? Like 20 sem per btc? But still limited to 500. Just a thought. |

Rc2 currently appears to be running relatively stable, and the concurrency of 5000txs is not a small number. Since it can be successfully passed, it is proved that this scheme is feasible.At least for now, few projects can do that.
Yes we are happy that the network is able to handle 5000tx per block. Ultimately we want to be able to handle more than that and this can be achieved once we have more upscale validators. Let me get this straight please. Basically if the wallet was working without crashing during stress test than my vps configuration is sufficient? Based on my experience, V with 2cpu, 4GB and 100M is sufficient to handle 5000 tx per block. But maybe not enough for 10000 tx. |

Mdodong but it's not really fair to punish everyone b/c one fucker decided to scam the system. So he get to keep his coin and the rest of us that don't own spare BTC loses too. My BTC is all tied up in Alts and we all know how bad Alts are currently doing, so i can't even sell my alts to get in on the airdrop. I owe a nice amount of ETH, but i bought in at 310, so i can't also sell my ETH for BTC to get in on the airdrop. So you can see how this sucks for some of your supporters. Like i said before, the signature airdrop has completed for a while but some of us keep wearing it cos we truly believe in the project and want to aid in increasing it's visibility. It kinda sucks that this one scam artist gets to keep his coins, then the rest of us pays for his or her atrocity. It's a lose lose situation for us.
No one is punishing anyone. Why do you keep on bringing that up? So what if he has more coins than anyone at this point. That will change as soon as we go through the rest of the distribution rounds. That wont matter much. Yes it sucks that one person gamed the system early on. It sucks that you don't have the same amount of sems. It sucks that you may not have a chance to participate in the next round of btc drop. I can't participate either for the same reason you mentioned. This is not about you or me or the existing community. The purpose of airdrop is to gain massive adoption and awareness of semux outside of our existing community. This will help everyone in the long run. Stick to the plan. Trust the dev. I kept watching and didn't reply to anyone. But I have to do this one. Because you are a good and decent guy. I didn't "gamed" the system. As I have told someone in the community, I have paid for what I got and didn't break the rule. Is the validator requirement still up to date?
8 gb ram, 4 cores seems kinda high? Where do you get your VPS?
I have VPS with 2GB and 1 core with 25-35% cpu load with closed port. On beta cpu load was about 90% with open port. Yep. Much less cpu load now. |
