Yeah. A good amount of gain for the ETH today. But the question is how long for that? Because for 9 months we didn't see a good uptrend now. Everyday we wake up thinking that what has happened and what will happen today. Lots of doubts are going on. Anyway we can clearly see that ETH has gain a decent growth today.

The OP has asked this in April and now this is September. What I all have to say as an answer to his question is " Really a bad market condition". This is the worst market that I have ever seen.

I think that somehow lots of ETH based airdrops and ICOs caused for the drop of the price of ETH. But you don't need to worry about it. sooner all the things will be OK and you will see a cleaned market again.

We cannot tell something like that at once. Because we are seeing a down trend for long long time now. So after seeing just a little upward momentum we cannot hope that the market is going to recover sooner.

We will able to see an uptrend. But I don't think it will be a same one as we saw in last year. But I could be wrong and the uptrend can be more stronger then 2017. Anything can happen in this industry. That is all what I know.

Almost all the people here want to get rich quick. That is the truth. That is why they are yelling when they see this price drop. They don't think that the same thing has happened in the past too and the price of almost all the coins have reached very high levels few months later after a drop happens. So keeping all those information in the mind, I think it is better to wait for few months at least.   

I have heard that Ontology has given the highest amount of money per person as a airdrop. People were talking that it was the most valuable airdrop ever. May be I'm wrong. if I'm wrong please correct me someone. I heard that people received 1000 ONT per person and ONT has reached $10 ATH.

I know how it feels dear. Because I have faced the same situation. I was doing a signature campaign of a project and after ending the campaign we all knew it was a scam. No any project admins or bounty manager replied us ever.

Honestly reading whitepaper is a boring task. The people who has read whitepapers know it  Actually if a person can read and understand the whitepaper then that person can get a good idea and know the possibilities about the project.

It is very hard to give an accurate prediction about the market now. Not only for us but also the experts are failing here. Lots of experts said that the market will go up at the end of the year. But still we can't see any sign of a bull market.

No. Luck is here with cryptocurrencies  . If you joined any project blindly last year, you could have earned a very good amount of money. But even if you dedicate your time and put lots of efforts to do some researches about a project this year and if you invest in it, still there is a chance it to become scam.

Now ETH is trading below $200. No any member expected this kind of a situation. there are lots of hesitation about the crypto market among the people now. Will this be the lowest price for ETH or can it go further down than this? No one knows it.

This thread has been started in April. When I check the first few replies I can see that people had hoped about a bullish market at the end of the year. But when we have just another 3 months to finish this year, we still can't see any sign of a bullish market.

Lots of people were saying about that the BTC will reach the $3000 level again. But still the price of BTC is around $6000. I think if the BTC drop to $3000 level then surely it will start going up. Because then people know that there are no any lowest price predictions for BTC. Recently ETH has dropped below $200 level.

No one expected this amount of a drop I think. The drop last for 9 months now. So the chance are very rare to reach the $1500 level for ETH in this year. But unbelievable things happen in this mysterious crypto world. We have another 3 months to finish this year. Let's see what will happen sooner.

I don't think that ETH will touch the $100 level. If you believe technical analysis then you will see there is a support level at $175 level for ETH. I think ETH will not break that level.

In recent months most of the ICOs were launched based on ETH and lots of projects were scams. That can be a reason to the price drop of ETH I think.

All these people are not native English speakers. So the mistakes can be happened from the hunters. In this case I think that hunter may have typed English in a manner that was very hard to understand. Just my idea.

The investors may got tired because of they have not seen any sign of a bullish market yet. Also when the token got listed on an exchange the price may drop very huge amount. Also lots of projects are scam. Due to those kind of reasons the investors have got tired I think.
