I just won $20 at FreeBitco.in!

My user id is 7825558.

Because is... fake? Who gave it to you?

The real last 30 days trend doesn't resemble anything like that:

I took the screenshot myself but like the other replies mentioned it turns out to be a glitch. Next time I visited I did not see that. Bug would be my first guess and that's why I reported here, otherwise I wouldn't advertise that infinite money glitch here lol. Would make a bit of money selling according to the pattern Wink

Can anybody guess why does this Fun/USD chart is extremely algorithmic? It even has a point symmetry right in the middle...

Also, the last points should be highlighted that if illegal activity is detected in the accounts they will be closed permanently and you will lose your funds, ehm let me see if I understand, if someone abuses the tap and has 1 BTC in their account, this user loses it? It seems to me that it is a bad decision and a bad practice on the part of Freebitco.in it is fair that the funds are returned to this abuser, because you may have to prove that he violated your terms and abused your platform

I'm wondering about this as well. So the person deposits 1BTC, and if it gets flagged for robbing freebitco.in of 1000 satoshis for using a script to get automated freerolls, they lose the 1 BTC?

If this is the case, I'd like to be able to enable captcha for freerolls so I don't get mistaken for a bot, before making a deposit there. I also think Freebitco should remove the no-captcha feature if it is tempting for users to abuse it, but if they keep it to get users to feel tempted to use bots and have them lose *all* deposited funds, it would not be an honest business model.

Hi, could you check out the reward points -> gift card for user 7825558 ?
It's been about 2 weeks. If it's not possible for some reason (as I see you have removed 50 usd gift card since then), I'm fine with getting the reward points back, maybe use it on WOF or maybe make my way towards 100 000 RP's.
Btw, a feature suggestion for RP's, you let us convert it to actual sats at 100 000, why not let us convert it to Multiply BTC *BONUS* if it's lower? Maybe after 10 000 RP or something, having the RP turn into Multiply BTC bonus should create some action on the multiply BTC front, which we all know given enough time turns into 0 (mathematically, there's no winning strategy over the long term Wink but would provide a lot of fun.)

This is to notify that my RP's were re-imbursed to my account. Unlucky it was a time that they transitioned to the new RP system, (but I guess with the current value Bitcoin is at, the old method needed a revamp).

Well, time to burn through the RP's then. (Luckily in future they may do a reward point -> multiply bonus thing)

You can easily check this by looking at the statistics of my account.

I know I can easily check because I already have. You were running 9 accounts from the same bot.

We can't even freeroll from my wife's account, (we receive IP error) at home, and at work my friends were unable to freeroll because we all share the same IP obviously (genuinely different people btw, but they lost interest, this was a couple of years ago), these should be really determined people running bots from different IP's.

I have tried to redeem my reward points in exchange for an Amazon Gift Card but I haven't received anything for 12 hours, how long is the wait, usually? The reward points are gone, has there been a glitch, does the system work??

it is a manual process and it can take several weeks.

Thanks, it has no notifications that my request is pending so I was afraid it was lost into the void!

By the way, reward point from reward points was a nice thing. Please bring it back in a way that does not hurt you. Maybe lower the points required to cash out, the lower it is, the higher chance people will blow it on multiply-btc like I usually do.

And maybe revive freedoge sometime, given it's revived popularity? The fidelity on BTC satoshi gambling has become too low Sad

yeah , but you have now bonus WOF per claim or FUN token .. So it’s good replace. I already calculated all and you can get even more with that activation 👍☺️

please elaborate

5 FUN = 175 Satoshi right now, assuming you roll the faucet every hour for 24 hours and never sleep that comes to 120 FUN or 4200 Satoshi for an RP cost of 3,060. I still think the RP bonus was better but this option is good because it essentially lets you cash out your RP before hitting 100k sats. Alternatively you could keep stacking the FUN for more premium benefits and interest. But the WOF you get a little of everything so that can add back up.. but one thing I noticed is the WOF spins don't have the iPhone, Amazon gift cards, or Rolex on the wheel for me when I multi-roll. Anyone else notice that? Not that I'd ever hit that in my lifetime but it's something. I think I've sunk a Rolex worth of BTC into the multiply game by now, seriously brutal :/ but I find some solace in that the owners have donated a lot to charity..

I used reward points bonus to increase my reward points faster than plain freeroll. Now the only way to increase the reward points is to gamble or WOL luck but it's not as fast and high RP WOL bonus is rare. I guess now it is more profitable for the site now but I'm not going to visit the site as often now. I try to increase my RP's by Gambling during 4x 5x RP bouts by employing my custom freebitco.in chrome extension which helps be set a "balance protect" so I don't gamble away after a certain point unknowingly, and it helps me set complicated rules for betting (like stop auto-betting after a certain amount of losses, it stops and asks me what to do before continuing auto-bet).

One question: I just redeemed an amazon gift card, how long does it take to reach my mail?

With all these fake phoenix links (note: ALWAYS follow links on original post), I wish that new users should NOT be able to post links on threads, with a setting per thread. Just make it harder for these low lives.

You can find the script here:

You can place the .cmd file in shell:startup, but since I need admin priv. for AMD mem timings I use task scheduler to run the script at startup with admin privileges.

Where is the "devcon" program mentioned there?

I think it can be found here:
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/devtest/devcon
But the one I'm using is the one bundled with SRBMiner (the old, discontinued miner had it in the last versions), so I didn't have to bother download anything else. May switch to pnputil like advised here but devcon just does the job.

Whats the difference in revenue between a big pool like starkpool and flexpool ?
Small pools have more variance, is more based on luck, but a back to back 3-4 low effort blocks can pay for the whole week. Then again, they are going to be balanced by a few 200% effort blocks. With the fee market changing rapidly, there's now variance on top of variance, you may miss a high fee block during the day, or hit a couple of blocks right during the peak. It should still balance in the long run, but mining on a small pool is as close I'm practically going to get to solo mining "feels"!

Some weeks ago I requested a feature where phoenix stops mining if it cannot find addressed card in config, this is becasue I have a mixed rig and sometimes one card goes missing due to a riser problem or whatever, phoenix starts to apply wrong OC values to GPU's. Since I don't have hope that they even see the request, I made a simple powershell script that counts number of adapters and if you have the desired number of adapters, runs a batch (that runs Phoenixminer in my case) or runs another batch if it can't find the required number of GPUS (of course the batch sends me notifications so I can keep track.) You can use this to either shutdown the system cleanly, or if you want you can run your miner with safe settings that matches all your GPU's.

You can find the script here:

You can place the .cmd file in shell:startup, but since I need admin priv. for AMD mem timings I use task scheduler to run the script at startup with admin privileges.

Hey guys

Been using phoenixminer and liking it , i’m hashing at 130mhs constantly on nanopool .Barely any stale share . I see my hashrate reported between 120-130 .

Now when i look on whattomine , i shpuld be generating .21 to .24eth a month but i seem to be getting .2 only .

Any of u guys have been in this situation and were able to fix it ?

Thanks

Try mining on a different pool, maybe Ethermine. Having said that I wouldn't say no if more people joined flexpool, it's a small pool with bigger variance but it's worth a shot. The PPLNS window is too long so don't worry about inial estimates being too low, you will be getting full rewards in a couple blocks found by pool and you will keep on receiving after you leave for a couple of blocks found.

Can you share details on how you are applying the claymore straps?

You can not apply claymore straps in phoenix directly (yet?). Use amdmemtweak. You can read current staps for AMD cards when running claymore with this tool and then apply it before starting phoenix.

When you apply straps on AMDMemTweak, does it set the same value for all frequency straps? When it reads the straps, it reads from the current frequency state which may be different when running idle or half load, but when you set something using AMDMemTweak, I'm guessing it needs to make the straps the same for all frequencies. Is this the case?

Bug Report:
System Freezes when shutting down Phoenixminer.

This is probably more related to my rig, but I think it's solvable. When I shutdown phoenixminer from its close button, entire machine freezes (Windows, Drivers 20.8.1). However, when I turn off GPU's manually one by one, I can then shutdown phoenixminer without problems.

This is a new thing that began happening when I added 5700xt's to the rig, but I made many changes to the rig (replaced risers, added a PSU etc so I cannot pin point the exact cause). Whatever the cause, if we can have a slow shutdown option, it surely would solve the problem (like -gser, but for shutdown!) It'd be really nice if you considered such an option. Thanks..

With all these low-life scammers trying to post links to malware, I think there should be an option to forbid new accounts to post links, or any text that looks like link in case they still do it without the proper tags.

Bug Report:
I think I have encountered a bug;
When you use auto-tuning, and change a few parameters on some of the gpu's in config (but not all), the ones that the parameters changed are applied previous GT values, but the rest of the cards are reset to default tuning values and hashrates of those cards drop significantly. The remedy is restarting miner or re-starting tuning. The fix should be easy, just make sure to re-apply previous known tuning values to ALL cards. Better yet, if auto-tuning is on, the cards that have their clock settings change should go back into auto-tune mode, while the rest could stay as is, instead of re-applying last known tuning parameter.

Lol at the scammers trying to lure thirsty miners into downloading malware. As if a 10% increase in ethash would come in a frigging hotfix 5.4d. Good job deleting these posts. I'm sure some people are falling for it as they keep on posting these.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.4c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: December 23, 2020, 08:37:56 PM
that´s a good point. I already recognized that if you have one GPU as GPU0, it will not stay GPU0 if you add or remove a card. I added 2 cards to my rig...I printed the GPU number with a label printer to the GPU´s...but you can forget everything if you edit the number of gpu´s...you need to find out with spinning fans which one is which one and set oc manually again. if one card crashes and the rig restarts without that card...your oc settings will be totally mixed...true ! good point.....but maybe a point for the operating system not to start the miner.....

but if one could add this to phoenixminer, would be great to see.

Thanks, I just made a powershell script that counts the display adapters using devcon.exe (windows) and shuts down the system after a timeout if it can't find required number of display adapters, or runs the normal batch. It's not fool-proof or as graceful as having it on phoenix miner. Haven't yet tested the script in real-life conditions yet, and don't know what happens if the drivers are disabled instead of a gpu/riser failure. Will have to test those some time.

I hope this kind of behaviour can make it into phoenix miner itself.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.4c: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: December 23, 2020, 08:09:46 AM
I really like this miner. Here's a feature suggestion;

I would like to have the option of having the following ability:
  • Do not mine if N number of GPU's are NOT present.

short:
A failed GPU/Riser can result in GPU reordering and this will almost always en up with OC settings applied to the wrong card, and could be a real show-stopper especially in mixed rigs, or even end up burning stuff up, this can be handled in two ways:
  • Option A: where if N number of target GPU's are not present, do not mine.
OR
  • Option B: Simply if you have ANY setting in config where any setting cannot be applied to a specific gpu, just error out and do not mine.
The latter even could be the default behavior, and could optionally be overridden by those adventurous miners who for some reason want to keep mining with mis-matching OC settings when one of their GPU's fail.

Longer Explanation:
This is not the same as "if hashrate is below certain amount, stop / restart miner" feature, and is directly related to the safety of rigs.
Sometimes a pci-riser can fail or simply even lose connection (there were many times issues could be fixed by simply re-inserting a riser in slot or re-inserting the usb cables), if that happens, system usually resets and phoenix restarts in the beginning. This may not be much of a problem for homogeneous rigs where you can set every parameter the same, but this is rarely the case, as rigs are fine tuned down to gpu level mostly and OC settings can differ massively in mixed rings, where you would rarely want to apply settings to a different card.

An example of how Option B could work on a 3 gpu system:
Code:
-cvddc 1150, 1200, 1150
When a gpu fails, the last setting won't be applied, error out, because if the one of the first gpu has failed, you'd be applying the 1200 setting to the gpu that requires 1150. The difference could be big enough to create bigger problems.

Code:
-cvddc 1150
When a gpu fails, just keep on working.

Code:
-cvddc 1200, 1175, 1150
-disablegpusettingfailsafe   #disclaimer: this is a made up option, do not use this in your config, there's no such option yet.

When a gpu fails, keep on applying OC with the default behaviour.

For lazy miners who e.g. have 5 gpus and don't want to subscribe to the new failsafe setting system by writing
Code:
-cvddc 1170, 1150, 1150, 1150, 1150
They can still go:
Code:
-cvddc 1170, 1150
-disablegpusettingfailsafe #disclaimer: this is a made up option, do not use this in your config, there's no such option yet.
