Mining for 3 hours really isn't going to be all that indicative.

The bigger pools will get you less money, in less time. The smaller pools will get you more money, in a longer time.

It all averages out!

Added more info to the users JSON API so you can monitor your workers.

I really suggest you do pool mining so you start earning some reward.

See this article here : https://mineco.in/beginners_guide_to_pooled_bitcoin_mining

Saying that... I've just fixed a bug - it should be more accurate now.

For OSX I would recommend Diablo miner, but you'll need to know how to use the terminal...
108  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eligius + phoenix: miner is idle on: June 22, 2011, 10:46:22 AM
You shouldn't need ASKRATE if long polling is supported.

Come try out mineco instead: https://mineco.in

Hi Bizzy,

If you come into #mineco on freenetnode IRC we can help you live!

Have you tried mining with Phoenix miner in GUI Miner?

File > New Phoenix Miner.

It should show your graphs card as a drop down ?

You guys should come and try out mineco! https://mineco.in

Also you can try using Phoenix Miner inside of GUIMiner, many find it faster.

File > New Phoenix Miner

Diablo Miner works, but you'll need to use the terminal if you are comfortable with it.

Because you still have the same % of the block that hasn't been found yet? Unfortunately this is a block that is over the difficulty rating, and so we are "unlucky" this round.

I discovered bitcoin, and I wanted to make some software for it - so I made the pool Smiley I was mining on someone else's pool, and it was fine - but I wanted the challenge of making my own.

I'm not charging any taxes on it because I'm using reclaimed hardware and it's hosted with the company I work for.

I've told the members in our chatroom, that if we do need to expand on hardware in the future then I will introduce a tax to cover the cost of that, and if I ever get into the position where it's taking up a large amount of my time then the same may apply.

Come join is in #mineco if you want to know more!

Hey Guys,

Are you sure your statistics are correct?

Code:
Current Round Started: Mon, Jun 20th, 11:37:29 am
Current Round Duration: 23 hours
Current Round Shares: 1,211,172

23 hours to do 1.2M shares doesn't seem to be 92.3GH/sec like it says on your site?

I would estimate more like 50GH/sec ?

The 1BTC is not a limit, that's just the default!

You can enter something lower!

Oh, then i did something wrong when trying to change it.
I set it to 0.01 now.
Thanks a bunch.

EDIT:
Maybe iam stupid.
But I cannot find the payout button. Sad
I also can not find anything about how to payout in the Beginners guide.

As soon as you get some confirmed reward ( you currently have 0 confirmed rewards ) then you'll get the payment automatically from the pool!

AMD GPU Clock Tool will let me put the memory on my 5850s down to 200... but it won't let me change the voltage Smiley

What's your location ?
120  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 5850 settings on: June 20, 2011, 11:11:51 PM
Has anyone got multiple 5850s working in windows with phoenix ?

I'm getting this error when I try to start another card :

FATAL Kernel error: Failed to load OpenCL kernel!
