I guess it's possible that we are running newer versions of pushpool and there could be an issue with some specific versions of software / pushpool ?

No I haven't tried another miner with your pool. I am past the stage of selecting a miner, phoenix worked best on my hardware (both my test miner and mining rig).

You should be able to see what happened on your side, I was mining with the same userid as here.

Here's the output of a new test run on Mineco:

Your shares are failing with the error "unknown work" - I'm not 100% sure this means, but that's the error pushpool is giving

That count is your shares for this round only, not your total shares ever.

Since we found a block around 7 hours ago, your local count will contain shares from the old block as well as the new block, whereas the count on the site is only since 3:30am this morning!

Hey,

Come over and give https://mineco.in a go.

You can setup different workers for all of your machines, and we are n00b friendly.

We have a tutorial on how to use GUIMiner here : https://mineco.in/beginners_guide_to_pooled_bitcoin_mining

If you fancy chatting to users of the pool then join us at #mineco on FreeNetNode IRC!

Answers to your questions:

1. Estonia
2. 56 MH/s
3. Phoenix

Can I ask, did you try a different miner to see if there was a problem with them too ?

What's the load on your processor? Is it hitting 100% ?

No one else is reporting the same problem as you are.

1) What's your location
2) What's your hash speed ?
3) What mining software are you using?

Please can you add https://mineco.in

We have provided JSON api for you to use for the pool, and per user/worker.

Hello,

I cannot replicate your problem, what does it say after you click update?
95  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Low rewards from Slush's mining pool? on: June 22, 2011, 10:36:29 PM
It's to do with their score based system.

Try a proportional pool like https://mineco.in

I'm of course Bias, but you should come and try out https://mineco.in !
97  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Eligius + phoenix: miner is idle on: June 22, 2011, 10:01:56 PM
Come try out mineco instead: https://mineco.in

I tried mineco.in right away. But I get a little bit nervous: after about 160 shares my stats are still showing that I didn't submit any shares at all (and still mining @0Mhash/s).

Are the stats so slowly refreshing? After all the page tells me that the hashrate should be calculated over the last 10 minutes.

Oh and Wuked: the contact link on your page points to a thread in a forum that is locked for newbies :/

Yep the stats will take a little while to update. Leave it running for 30 minutes or so. If your miner is happy then the server will catch up soon!

with 3 x 5850s i get pretty heavy usage on a quad core, about 50% for each core!

Try a few out and see what you are happiest with!
100  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: GUIMiner Questions on: June 22, 2011, 08:39:23 PM
It's based on probability.

If you'd stayed on miningpool for another 24hrs they might have found 10 blocks and you would have been paid out 5BC for ones days work.

A bigger pool simply just reduces the luck variance over short periods of time.
